I liked the general concept of the plot, but OMG this story is all over the place. I even looked at the ending and... No, just no.

Gay porn star Sam Cummings is missing. This missing case trends on Twitter. Two detectives are assigned to investigate the disappearance of Sam. Detectives Ana and Jake have to make all the necessary investigations to question a few of the suspects and the people who were close to Sam. What helps them more in the investigation are the different diaries that Sam has been keeping and some videos that have been recorded. This is an erotic thriller that is deliciously heavy on the erotic side. It is very tricky when you review a thriller or a mystery. I will do my best not to add or mention any spoilers to this review. The book has twenty-three chapters and the narration is third-person narration at parts and also first-person narration from Sam's perspective in his diaries.
Sam is a character that did not have it easy. He made a name for himself and became a famous porn star. His character represents the oppression against minorities that we still face up to this day. The struggles that he had to go through in his early life are still being faced by many boys around the world. The book has a dark atmosphere to it besides the mystery surrounding the disappearance of the main character. The diary entries are not in chronological order and that helped a lot in keeping the mystery intact. The story's suspense remained intense from the start until the end. I did not see that end coming. There are many suspects in the story and Samer Bo put so many angles to it making it more complex and harder to guess who is responsible for Sam's disappearance. Calling Missing Porn Star an erotic thriller is an understatement. I'd call it an EXPLOSIVE erotic thriller. The smutty scenes are right up there, the top quality I'd say. They are long and detailed in both description and action. Gay erotica fans like me will appreciate that a lot. This kind of detail provides a more clear picture to create in our minds and of course that extra arousal we all need! The author has done a fantastic job offering all the variety the story needed in terms of race, religion and mentality of the characters. The sex scenes are varied too and each one has its own uniqueness and deliciousness. Each one of them is heavier on a particular theme like submission or poppers sex etc. I have so many favorites but the hookups with Linford and the one with Vadim both top my list. The rest is not too far or lower from these two. They all were magnificent.
You know how much you enjoyed a book and the author's work and writing style when you have this big need to grab another book by him right away. That is how I feel about Samer Bo's delicious and exotic writing. Fortunately, he has many books available on Kindle Unlimited for me to grab and they all sound so HOT and right up my alley. I'm already looking at them and the question is which one to choose next 🤔.
