Macy has married Kaden James, during their wedding celebration, a little girl Jenna Harper escapes her mistress Colette. Jenna is taken in by Kaden and Macy and adopted. More of Macy's gifts surface, she has visions of her abuser Jack and realizes that he is still in the business of abusing children, to complicate things even further, Colette who at ons time had a relationship with Kaden is working with Jack to provide slaves to vampires. Colette has a hatred for Macy that only escalates as time goes on. They also adopt Josh, one of the children rescued from Jack, who will play an important part in the futureLuther, Kadens brother has come to a moral crisis, he decides that he no longer wants to be associated with Colette and seeks to reunite with his brother. Macy soon finds out that she is part of a vampire legend concerning herself and two female relatives. It turns out that Macy is the oldest of identical triplets who are quite powerful.Macy continues to deal with her fear of abandonment and Jenna finally understands what her relationship to Charles is. Colette for the moment is out of the picture but is biding her time.
