My books are founded on the notion that the world is full of adventure — you can find it everywhere and anywhere. I want you to enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.
I always wanted to be a writer. When I was in first grade I was already writing stories of vampires and monsters; by fifth grade I had graduated to spy heroes and assorted adventurers. Then came the westerns. I ended up becoming a professional writer of public relations materials, mostly for the medical industry. Let me tell you, nothing is more soul-crushing than writing about urge urinary incontinence when you want to be writing about dangerous men and even more dangerous adversaries.
I’ve written a few nonfiction books over the years, but my daydreams just got bigger and bigger. I wanted an imaginative landscape similar to all the craziness going-on inside my head, so I moved to fiction. I wrote many (many!) books until I finally had my first success with both the Tales of Tom Mix and Bradigan’s Mountain series.
My Jess Galleon Adventures are designed to generate the thrills I felt reading the great adventure stories of my boyhood.

A great traditional western
Really enjoyed this first book featuring Marshal Flint. A tough lawman who usually gets his way. The daughter of the mayor, and a one time lover of Flint's, is missing. She rode out on her own and the Mayor thinks she may have went to a dangerous bandit leader. Flint is asked to take a leave of absence and go find her and the only way he knows of to do that is to let the gang know he is after them, making himself a target.
Highly recommended, McCrea writes like one of the old western masters like a Luke Short or a Lewis B Patten. Its an intriguing tale that has many interesting characters. I read it in one sitting.

Book #2
This story was ok, but not as good as the first. It had lots of action and kept you wondering what's going to happen next.
I hope the next book in the series is better. I'd recommend this book to be read, because it needs to be to co.poets the series. I was not very happy about the ending to this story.
I believe the ending could have been so much better in many different ways.
Well, on to the next book in the series. Remember, keep reading!! So .such better than the television.

A REAL MARSHAL CANT BE BOUGHT.
After following a gang of bank robbers who has also taken a woman he used to like from day to day he finally catches the woman, who he finds out has been in with the gang leader. She tries to convince him to take her away and she knew where the money was hidden and they could share it. But he can't be bought. It's to jail lady.

Ezra Flint is the marshal of Misery. When the bank is robbed, the mayor's daughter disappears as well. The mayor thinks she might have been involved with the robbery and asks Flint to find her. Was she part of it or was she taken by force? One thing for sure, Ezra is hard as flint.

A very good western.
Marshall Flint has a bank robbery in his town and tries to go after the bad guys, but things get in his way. How Flint gets his man with a whole lot of twist and turns makes for interesting reading!

Great story
I truly enjoyed reading this western tale. McCrea definitely has talent. I only gave 4 stars due to the lousy editing and typos.
