About the author

My name is Kelly Elledge. I'm an avid reader from way back when...and a new author. I just self-published my first novel Finding Maisy in June of 2024 and my second, Out of Time, in November 2024! I'm currently working on my third novel. I read many different genres including, fantasy, suspense, thrillers, romance and more. The books I write reflect that, in that they are full of excitement, suspense, and slow burn romances.

I'm a full time CT and X-ray tech, a wife, and a mother to four wonderful daughters. I write anytime I have a spar second (which isn't often.) It's such a passion of mine that I smothered for too long. It is time to breathe...happy reading everyone.

I loved it! I don’t write reviews and I’m not good at writing reviews, but I just really did love this book. I cried happy tears, tears of sadness, and felt the butterflies. I was hooked immediately and couldn’t put it down.

Wow this was so good. Check your trigger warnings.

The main characters kept me so intrigued the entirety of this book. It’s a great suspense romance and unlike anything I’ve ever read before. The villains and twists in this book make you so mad. I felt all the emotions reading this. Happiness, anger, sadness…

Definitely highly recommend!

This is a great story, that easily keeps your attention at a nice pace. I really enjoyed how the story unfolds within the storyline's between past and present all at once. It made understanding what was going on so easy without being confused at exactly who's point of view you are reading from and what part of the story you are reading from. I won't post spoilers but, I cried, I laughed and I got p!ssed lol. I've been in a reading slump of sorts and this book kept me awake all night because I had to know what happened next. Well done you! I'm so proud of you. Please write more, I like your style. Long live Debbie & Billy Bob and the white devil

OMG! This is probably one of the best books I have ever dead! It is a really quick read, it only took my 3 days bc I was only able to read a few hours at a time. I haven’t read any books in a while bc I am in college and trying to focus on studying but whenever I saw this book I just HAD to read it! It was SO hard for me to put it down and do anything else between each reading session. I have recommended this book to so many people as soon as I started. Most books it takes a few pages to start getting interesting but with this book you good hooked from the first paragraph of the prologue!!

This book is amazing. I will say that this a first time author, so my expectations are not real high. KD Elledge hit it out of the park with this one. Honestly I could not put it down. There is so much I could write about this book but I don't want to give away any spoilers. Maisy is a true survivor. Callon has his own demons to fight. Their journey is one of strength, surviving and love.
Definitely a must read!

Read this book after a recommendation from a friend, as someone who doesn’t read, this book had me hooked!! I finished it within a day because I could not put it down, it was sooo good keeping me engaged. The suspense is crazy, emotions all over the place. Loved the ending!! I can’t wait to read more from K.D. Elledge!!
