Satanic Bill #1

Full Nasty: The Beginning

Rate this book
Satanic Bill and his tribe of termites make films unlike anything you've ever seen.
The footage taken is cleverly coined Full Nasty.
It's reserved for the highest bidders of the black market who seek forbidden vices.
It provides a gateway to the unimaginable.
This is just one of those stories.

Dan Shrader is a horror author hailing from Southern Indiana with a penchant for the macabre. He delves into the realms of Splatterpunk and Extreme, leaving no stone unturned in his twisted tales. His passion for writing ignited when he stumbled upon a treasure trove of VHS tapes at his grandparents. Within the confines of that box, he discovered a diverse collection of horror movie titles, including classics like Texas Chainsaw Massacre, C.H.U.D, Black Christmas, and Night of the Demons.

Since publishing in February of 2024, he has gained a following and received three horror award nominations for his novella “The Devil’s Rite” and debut collection “Those Who Live in Darkness.” Shrader is also known for his popular “Full Nasty” series and bestselling short story “Craven’s Freaks.”

Mindblowing

Absolutely been dying for this for months. Satanic Bill and the Phuck boys are monsters from the bowels of hell. Full of the blood and guts to be expected. And gives an insight into how Bill became the demon he is. Truly magnificent 😊

“Bill always had a unique talent for making the seemingly impossible possible.”

Well shit. Not only was this book Full Nasty, it was straight up full brutal too. 💀 This book was so wrong it couldn’t be more right if it tried. 😮‍💨

Dan introduced us to Satanic Bill in his short story featured in Splatology. I was left reading that short story wanting more, so when I found out he was writing a standalone, I was beyond thrilled, and holy shit did he deliver everything I could have hoped for and more. 🤌🏼

Satanic Bill is an absolutely depraved soul and if you are the least bit squeamish… get your puke buckets ready because you’re sure as hell going to need them. I thought Stuart Bray’s introduction had prepared me for what was to come, but I was wrong. I was so wrong. 😅

I’ve mentioned in past reviews about Dan’s writing style and how much I enjoy it and how much it stands out amongst the rest. This book further proves that. It has been beyond exciting seeing him go from short stories in anthologies to now standalone books ensuring he continues to stick out from the crowd. There’s a few new to the scene indie writers that I see quickly rising to the top with the best of the best, and Dan is one of them. 👏🏼

Satanic Bill is one fucked up man! Ever since he was a kid, he's been fucked. Now with the phuck brothers on his side, they create these snuff "masterpieces" and do some of the most horrific shit ever. 1 sweet family happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

This made me feel nasty in the best way. Stuart Brays intro slapped me in the face while the rest of the book spanked the shit outta me! 😂💀 Some of these descriptions were brutal, nasty, and I fucking loved them! I enjoyed the plot and was left wanting more. I'm super excited for the 2nd book!

I’m hesitant to start the first in a series because 1) it could suck 2) it could NOT suck. Option 2 is the worst case scenario in this situation, because then there will always be a nagging voice in my head saying…well THEN what happened. Knowing the author trapped me; hook, line, & sinker. Welp, Dan Shrader got me with Full Nasty: The Beginning & I hope he felt me cursing him because now that I finished the first part, I need to know wtf happens next. 🤬

Quick Synopsis:
Satanic Bill is a shameless, fucked-in-the-head scoundrel. The New Oxford Dictionary defines “reprobate” as an unprincipled person or a sinner who is without reform and is predestined to damnation. This story is just one of many that would get a picture of Satanic Bill in the dictionary under the word REPROBATE, just showing us some of his best razzle dazzle. ✨

We’ve come across some twisted villains before, especially in this genre. We love to hate them, but enjoy the schadenfreude of knowing at least we don’t have to deal with their asses IRL. Satanic Bill is one of those villains, but damn you Shrader…you gave him depth. A backstory. Something that makes you see the line that was drawn where the evil was nurtured & not necessarily nature. Satanic Bill is a complicated onion of a villain and we are stuck pulling the layers back as we witness his deprived acts. Now I HAVE to read the rest of his series because I know Dan will do the right thing and peel all the layers back until he’s in the ground where he belongs. 🖤 Pick up this book as your first step to becoming a member of the Satanic Bill Haters Club, if you can stomach it. Oh & get ready to yell “Jesus Fuck!” a lot.

First off, the intro by Stuart Bray was hilarious and made me eager to get stuck in….😂

The first thing in my notes for this review is simply…. VILE!!!! 🤢 (That's a good thing by the way!) 😁 It is definitely a vile little tale, with vile little characters, it's also sick, twisted and utterly depraved, and it's funny in places too, seriously, darkly funny! It's a quick read chock full of nastiness that you won't want to put down. Hell, you won't want to take a breath until it's finished, (and not just from the descriptions of the stench surrounding this tale), and then you'll be running to buy book 2! (I read both books back to back, I couldn't wait to find out what happened next!)

I mean, the title says it all really, this book pushes boundaries. It's not just NASTY, it's FULL NASTY!! And it's certainly not for the easily offended! My fellow sickos though, will love this.

Satanic Bill, Klegg, Buster and Chunk, that right there is how you spell ‘fucked-up, twisted psychos!’ And when this unhinged, crazed team of reprobates get together there is all out carnage to be made! So, when they come across a man and his family, broken down in the middle of nowhere, they get excited. It's the perfect opportunity to make one of their famous movies, and consequently to make the family into movie stars at the Citadel of Sin!

Bill guarantees his ‘guests’ a good time will be had. Unfortunately, his idea of a good time isn't most people's idea of the same. In fact, very few, thankfully, would agree with him.

Klegg is a massive asset to the movie, and I mean, massive!! The whole setup stinks, quite literally, 100% gag-worthy, but that doesn't bother these guys in the slightest, they are there for one thing and one thing only, and it aint gonna be pretty, in fact, its FULL NASTY!!

We get a little bit of backstory on Bill, and an abusive and disturbing upbringing is what made him who he is today, something he is proud of. So very proud!

When Stuart, the father of the unlucky family soon to be movie stars, begs to see his loved ones, it's something he will live to regret and it's all a blood soaked and painful downhill slide from there. These ‘men’ are remorseless, merciless, savage, sick degenerates, who get off on what they do, the more depraved the better, so whatever you do, do not try and get one over on Satanic Bill! And boy, does the lord work in mysterious ways!?!

With a fun little twist at the end, this was highly entertaining and completely horrific and gruesome! Have book 2 lined up ready to go, because you'll want to dive right into the mayhem….sicko! 😂

Well, well, well….Dan made due on his promise and fulfilled all our nasty dark desires bringing us another story featuring our favorite fcked up and depraved mad-man, Satanic Bill! “This one’s about to be a FULL NASTY, fck-fans!” 😈

Alright…face down, ass up fckers…time to get started with this review of depravity. *Cue “The Safety Dance” song* 👷🎼🎶🎵🦺🥽

Dan fcking killed it with FULL NASTY. He absolutely delivered and had me all sorts of fcked up 🫠🫣😵🙌

We finally learn the origin of Satanic Bill and where his sinful perversion started. Along the way we are introduced to a few hugely important people to Bill, which further explain his wicked and immoral behavior 👀

However, Satanic Bill isn’t through with his story quite yet. I, for one, am “squeeling” for the next installment in the FULL NASTY debauchery.

So, I went into this blind, and I mean BLIND.
This is a Short Smack entry as well, so keep that in mind when it comes to voting time and remember this review .

This was a lot, and i think i may need shower, and a salt scrub, then another shower, and then just to make super sure I'm clean, I need someone to use a sandblaster on me, nothing crazy.

But I also liked this and i want to go back for more.
Am i discovering i do really like, whatever genre this is? ( i am so bad a sub genres)
I know a thing or two about hillbilies being from the South.
This managed to be different, it was in your face from the start, and did not stop until you rolled right off the last page, and realized somehow you were alive, but something is now broken in your brain from reading this.

I laughed and yelled and enjoyed how ridiculous this was, while managing to actually be worth the read.

i also really enjoyed the cover art, it honestly told me everything i needed to know about what i was about to read, but i didn't listen and was blindsided.

This was a good one, and i recommend it, but it is a on the extreme side lol

Holy hell, what a ride along with Satanic Bill and his gruesome Phuck sons! There are no redeeming qualities in any of their actions paid for by... well, let's just say, somebody fucked over the wrong somebody and if you're wondering what happens next well... there will be bloodshed amidst the two sides.

"Stuart, you being a man of the cloth and all, do you know what a Judas cradle is?"

After you finish reading this sordid tale, please make sure to let Mr. Shrader know that you want more and squeal for Satanic Bill!

"The smell was ripe and awful, enough to make even Bill, of all people, gag"

Jesus. Not only was this book completely unhinged and beyond depraved, but it was DISGUSTING.. and I loved it 😆

I've never been this grossed out by words. My face was permanently scrunched up, feeling like I could smell everything 😩

I thoroughly enjoyed the story and really love the writing style. Super descriptive, fun and entertaining.

Filled with gore, filth and all the debauchery.

Can't wait for part 2!

Introducing Satanic Bill! Satanic Bill and his heathens make certain types of films for a particular type of crowd. For a price, that is. Join Bill and the boys as they unleash their special brand of nastiness.

First, you get a great introduction by Stuart Bray, and then Dan unleashes a splatter villain that will make Bill Moseley proud. It's gross, mean, and hilarious. Everything you could want in a splatterpunk story. Dan continues to impress me with his slick writing style and his no-holes-barred take on the genre. Another winner. Check it out.

"S#D#M# WAS HIS SALVATION"

My First read by Dan Shrader absolutely did not disappoint. Stuart Bray had a fantastic welcoming intro at the start of this one. Sidney Shiv did fantastic on this cover. Bill is... Let's just say he's not your average male. He truly acts out his own sick desires with absolutely zero fucks giving. The title is very accurate for this one it was nasty and downright brutal. I really enjoyed this one, there's really nothing bad about this one I could think of. fantastic read 5/5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book was indeed nasty and full on however it was just ok. Nothing exciting or ground breaking. The one original scene I knew about coming in and it just felt a little lack luster. I know this in a novella so that could be problem but it felt a little shallow. Will I read the next story tho? Most likely.

I’ve read extreme horror before so this isn’t an ignorant review. I knew what I signed up for. I just think a decent plot should be part of any book whether it’s splatterpunk or not. The title is 100% accurate.

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭.

I'm new to this author, and after reading this, I added all of his available work to my wishlist. This story was brutal and depraved like I expected, but it had a surprising amount of depth for such a short read.

Satanic Bill is the main focus, but his 'helpers' Klegg, Buster and Chunk would be a great idea for a spin-off as I would love to know more about them! This team is completely unhinged and devoid of any moral compass. When they encounter a man and his family broken down in the middle of the road, they know the family would be just perfect for one of their infamous snuff films.

I'm so glad I have book two ready because I can't wait to see what Bill does next. As an 80s kid who grew up on slashers, read Stephen King when I was still in elementary school, and watched Friday the 13th at ever middle school sleepover, this genre has my heart. I know it's not for everyone, but I'm proud to promote work for authors of extreme content! This book is available now.

The title of this book speaks volumes because it's full of nasty. From start to finish, it's balls to the wall. It has a good plot that kept my ADHD ass focused and even grossed out.
I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

The character of Satanic Bill is a horrible, vile person, but he's pretty funny, like a character straight out of House of 1000 Corpses.
I really enjoyed this book, Dan's writing is really good, and makes me want to go back and read all.of his stuff.

Satanic Bill you’ve got a new fan in the club….

When evil lurks deep in someone, even the holiest of men stand no chance. How far can evil bend the mind before it breaks? Just ask Satanic Bill and his new friend Stuart. If you can’t beat em, join em right???

This is a tale I won’t soon forget and I am incredibly eager to jump into the next of the series. I need more of Bill and his tribe of torture tarantula men.

Dan has a way with words that will leave you reading faster than you thought you were capable of and gripping the pages, and your pearls in fear, and excitement for what’s next.

Well done Dan, this was a definite top read of 2024 for me.

The first book of the Full Nasty series is absolutely unhinged. I mean, it’s the kind of book that makes you feel like you need to brush your teeth a few times. Just reading some of the scenes leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

If you love to hate the villains in stories like No One Rides For Free by Judith Sonnet or Violence on the Meek by Stuart Bray, try this one out. If you’re like me and like to torture yourself and then question your sanity later, I think you’ll love it!

Now if you will excuse me, I’m off to take a shower hot enough to burn my skin off. Just gonna aim to replace the whole epidermis at this point. I feel dirty.

Meet Satanic Bill. Truly the nastiest man you will ever come across and one of the most memorable characters I have personally read about in a long time. One unlucky family finds themselves the target of the murderous sociopath and his group of henchmen, the Phuck brothers. They are soon abducted and forced to become stars in their own snuff videos.
This read packs a punch! I was immediately craving the second book in the series and could easily lose hours to the enjoyment of Mr. Shrader's writing. Buckle up, because this is one wild ride in depravity!

This book lives up to its name. Now this was my first extreme Horror book so I have nothing to compare it to. This book was quite disturbing and disgusting. This book isn’t for the person that is squeamish or has a weak stomach. I would not recommend eating while reading this book. Carnie by Day and Crazy Sick Satanic Bill by Night. I was left with one question at the end of this twisted selection.

I read this in the same day. After reading the first one of these in splatology I wasn’t expecting much. Some of the scenes were absolute filth and I loved it! However this is along the same lines of books I read quite regularly. Dark web stuff the highest bidder gets the most disgusting acts etc. Not sure if I’ll read the second but hopefully this author has something different in his other books that I can sink my teeth into

I read a lot of extreme horror and splatterpunk, and this might just be the most brutal & vile piece of writing I've ever gotten my hands on. Satanic Bill reminds me of an even more twisted Negan from The Walking Dead with his wild and outrageous dialogue. Shrader does NOT hold back in this gritty little number, so hold onto your butts, folks.
