Omegas of Oliver Creek #10

Blooming for His Omega

Rate this book
I never dreamed of being a florist. That’s such a stereotype for omegas. Lots of alphas thought omegas could only do jobs that were not too physical, some even thinking we should quit and become stay-at-home dads the moment we mated and gave birth. My former alpha had been one of those and when my uncle died and left me this business in in the booming small town of Oliver Creek, he laughed and said it would be a nice little thing for me to do until he “put a hoglet in me.” That comment was the final straw that ended things between me and someone who thought I should be grateful he chose me. I un-chose him.

Now I live in Oliver Creek, running the business my uncle put his heart and soul into. And I don’t need anyone putting any hoglets in me. Alphas are highly overrated pushy people. Including the bear who runs the charcuterie place next door. If he thinks he can win me over with delicious salami and cheese, he’s wrong. I’ll be his friend, but no more than that. It’s me against the world…me and the hoglet I’ve just realized my ex managed to get started before I dumped him. He can never find out..

Blooming for His Omega is the tenth in the Omegas of Oliver Creek mpreg series by Lorelei M. Hart. It is a super-sweet with knotty heat mm shifter mpreg romance featuring an alpha bear who is falling fast for his neighbor and an omega hedgehog with a secret that could put him back in the clutches of an alpha who likes way too much control, friends from other stories of the Omegas of Oliver Creek, an adorable baby or two, and a guaranteed happily ever after. If you like your mpreg against all odds, your happily ever afters complete with a bundle of joy, and your mpreg with heart, Blooming for His Omega is the book for you. While each book in the Omegas of Oliver Creek series is set in the same world, they can each be read as standalones.

This was a cute story, a bit fast paced, but cute nonetheless. Zion was so sweet and patient with Cicek.

I’ve never heard the name Cicek before, it is cute but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to pronounce it. I did look it up but it was just so difficult that I would forget how again within seconds so I ended up changing it in my head to Cian.

This doesn’t effect my rating, mostly just mentioning it so readers can be aware of it in case it ends up being confusing, but Zion’s brothers name was Malek at first but later on is changed to Scott. I would have said he maybe has two brothers but the story definitely reads like he only has one.

I’m not much for drama so even though I would have been ok with the story being a little more paced out and not so rushed, I’m glad the confrontation with Cicek’s ex was fast and easy, I really wasn’t sure how it was going to play out.

Hoping this doesn’t sound confusing but I’m trying to write this in a way that also doesn’t spoil it, though if you’ve read the other books in the series, you might get what I’m talking about. I haven’t read all the books in the series so I don’t know if Cicek (or maybe his uncle) had sent flowers in all the books but I did read the previous book and based on the ending note in this one I’m assuming they did (at least in some if not all) but I thought it was cute that the gesture was returned, it was just such a sweet ending.

Overall, this was a cute and sweet story.

Omega hedgehog shifter Cicek finds peace running his late uncle’s flower shop in the small town of Oliver Creek. Escaping a manipulative relationship, he values his newfound independence. Everything changes when alpha bear shifter Zion, who owns the charcuterie shop next door, enters his life. Zion is so caring and nurturing, bringing Cicek food and checking on him. Despite Zion's kindness and genuine interest in him, Cicek remains wary of getting involved with another alpha due to his past experiences. However, Zion's persistent kind, gentle, and supportive nature make it hard for Cicek to resist his growing feelings for Zion. When Cicek realizes he's pregnant from his past relationship, fear and uncertainty grip him. Loved how Zion cares and supports Cicek, giving him the strength to face his fears, and help him heal from his past traumas. Their relationship evolves from friendship to a deep emotional connection, grounded in respect and love for one another. Sweet and steamy MM shifter omegaverse romance exploring healing, trust, connection, and the transformative power of love.

This is book 10 in the Omegas of Oliver Creek series. Each book is a standalone read. I really loved this book. This is the story of Cicek and Zion. Cicek is an omega hedgehog shifter who has inherited his uncle's flower shop Bloom in Oliver Creek. It came at the right time as Cicek was desperate to leave an abusive and over controlling alpha. Cicek has embraced his new town with open arms and they have welcomed him in the same way. The only fly is the alpha next door that is always trying to feed him. Zion is an alpha bear shifter who owns the charcuterie shop next door. He is trying to become friends with Cicek but it is not an easy task. He recognizes that Cicek is terrified to lose his independence again. But Zion wants to help and support him, not take over. But Cicek is not taking the chance. The friend wall remains firmly in place. But Zion is not going anywhere. He recognizes that Cicek is his fated mate even if Cicek hasn't realized it yet. Zion is nothing if not patient. But when Cicek realizes that he is pregnant by his ex, he is terrified. And sick to his stomach with morning sickness that he thought was the flu. Zion steps up and helps him in anyway he can. This finally takes the blinders off and Cicek realizes what Zion is to him. This is their story. I loved the chemistry between the two of them. How they presented a united front to his ex. And especially with how the town shows the two of them, how important they are to everyone else. This book is well written and easy to read. I loved this book.

“Then you won’t be alone. I’m here as long as you want me here, omega.”

I loved this book. As soon as I read the premise I couldn't wait to read it! Good world building and wonderful characters. I loved Cicek and Zion. Cicek wanted to be independent and not simply a stay-at-home dad raising kids (hoglets! so cute!) while an alpha controlled everything. He left that manipulative relationship behind, but inadvertently took a little piece with him...

Alpha Zion owns the shop next door. I loved how both these men really enjoyed what they did- whether it was arranging flowers, or charcuterie boards and treats. I loved that they would send business each other's way. I also loved that Zion kept bringing food and treats to Cicek, who was charmed by him, but also wary of what all alphas want from omegas and was determined not to fall for another. But Zion was so sweet and caring and honorable. He didn't push or ask for anything, but offered support and help when needed without question. I also liked that he had a dad bod instead of a muscled body and was a bit shy about it. It made him even more loveable and appealing.

A cute read. But I think Zion's brother's name changed from Malek to Scott halfway through the story. 5 stars.

I adore getting to visit Oliver Creek. The town itself is so quaint, and the people are so open and accepting. Cicek, a hedgehog shifter, inherited his uncle's flower shop and it enabled him to leave a toxic relationship in the city. He swears he will never again allow another Alpha control in his life - after what he went through, one could hardly blShifter,

Zion, a bear shifter, owns a deli next to the flower shop and takes to Cicek upon his arrival in town (checking in on him, ensuring he eats, friendly and neighborly geatures). While he may feel something more for his neighbor, he respects Cicek's boundaries and limits. That is until he gets sick and needs Zion's help (even though he won't ask for it). How does one go about forcing their mate to accept the help and care they require without coming across as a controlling Alpha jerk? While you're unpacking that sentence, just go ahead and check out this book. The banter and dialog is engaging, realistic, and entertaining, while the characters are completely sympathetic and will have you rooting for a HEA.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story about Cicek who was with an alpha who tried to control him, and everything he did, and Cicek decided it was time to leave before he was looked down as he felt that he’s partner was going to do to him. His uncle left him a florist shop with accommodation above it and here he was able to be independent, which is what he hadn’t been for a long time, and the man Next Door, whose name is Zion, is an alpha bear shifter, who is really sweet to Cicek and always make sure that he has something to eat and drink. Cicek is gradually getting to know Zion and recognising that he could be his mate. Zion knew that when Cicek moved into the shop, Next Door, that he was his fated mate, but he didn’t want to push things so was happy to be friends until something happened. I loved how these two grew together and eventually had their heavily ever after.

I have truly enjoyed all of the books in this series but especially this one. One reason is that the alpha is not an Adonis but a "real" guy with his dad bod. Zion is a bear shifter and owns the charcuterie shop next door to Bloom. Cicek, the omega, owns Bloom after inheriting the flower shop from his uncle. Cicek likes Zion but after being repressed by his former mate, he is hesitant to believe Zion is his fated mate. But Zion offers his friendship and cannot help but take care of the little hedgehog. Thankfully, Cicek thinks his dad bod is sexy and can't help but fall for the big guy with such a big heart. Read along and find out how he is won over by Zion and put a smile on your face with the sweetness of the bear.

Gone, but not forgotten. Cicek, realizes how dismissive and disdainful his alpha, Derek was, dumped him and moved to Oliver Creek to run the flour shop his deceased Uncle, Merrick left him. He was surrounded by a delightful group of supportive friends. Zion, the alpha who runs the charcuterie next door is always trying to feed Ecek. Cicek is an independent omega who sees no need in filling an alpha's stereotype of sitting home, bearing hoglets and keeping the home warm and clean. He wanted an alpha, but one who respected him as well as loved him and treated him as an equal partner. Zion dreams of how much of a good alpha he will be to his mate. They sound like they would be the perfect couple. There are a few unexpected surprises and Derek, has a few words. Nicely done. Sweet story, delightful cover art! Cicek, a hedgehog omega shifter, feels like his alpha, Derek is a controlling alpha-hole. Controlling every aspect of Cicek's life, telling him he wants babies all the time and ordering him around. Cicek feels not seen, doesn't want children with Derek and decides to move to Olive Creek and run the flower shop his uncle left him. His neighbor, Zion, an alpha bear shifter, knows that Cicek is his fated mate. But he also knows he can't be a pushy alpha, not that he's like that anyway. By showing his future mate kindness and care eventually wins Cicek over. But an unexpected pregnancy that has Cicek panicking because the father is his old alpha, Derek.

I really enjoyed reading Blooming for His Omega! But then again I have loved each book in the Omega's of Oliver Creek! Who's next?.

This book is amazing! The story of Zion and Cicek is filled with love, past hurts, a wonderful community and is an absolute joy to read. Escaping his alpha, Cicek comes to Oliver Creek to take over his late uncle’s flower shop. This will lead him to Zion, his fated mate who owns the shop next door. Their journey will be bumpy as Cicek is determined to never be dependent on an alpha ever again. But the pull is strong and soon, Zion is doing everything he can to prove to Cicek that he’s different. Their lives will be better with the birth of their son and I love how they get their happily ever after!.

"We have to get started right now or the baby will be sleeping on the floor.”

This is the 10th book in the Omegas of Oliver Creek series by the writing duo of Lorelei M Hart. This is such a fun series. When I saw this on Booksprout I just had to have it. This is the 7th book that I've read in the series and they've all been enjoyable. These books can be read as standalone but characters, from prior books, show up frequently.

This story had a sweet alpha papa bear and a disheartened omega hedgehog. I'm still picturing them running piggyback through the woods in their animal forms. Such a sweet story.

Faded mates, opposites attract, chocolate-covered cheesecake-stuffed strawberries for the win

Cicek inherited a floral shop from his uncle who had passed away. He left his emotionally abusive and manipulative Alpha Derek and moved to Oliver Creek to run the shop. Zion the bear shifter that owned the shop next to his. Zion was his fated mate but he refused to acknowledge it because he didn't want an alpha or kids after his bad experience with Derek. But he also can't ignore the attraction. When you find out he's pregnant it's Zion that's there for him. I enjoyed this book immensely but there was one glaring error in the book. In chapter 17 he asked Zion to Mark him and then in chapter 20 he said there was only one thing left to do and that was for Zion to mark him.

Cicek inherited a flower shop in Oliver Creek from his uncle but the alpha he was with didn’t want him to keep it just thought that he has to be pregnant not working. Cicek turned off the internet and cameras packed and left went to the shop, loved working there. Zion knew that they were mates but Cicek didn’t want an alpha treat him the way he had been so kept Zion at arms length. Zion kept feeding him since he would forget to eat and sent customers to each other’s businesses. Found out that he was pregnant and after their animals ran together Cicek decided that he wanted Zion. Went to tell Derek about the baby and he got a surprise when there. Good book!.

Oliver Creek Magic strikes again!

Oh, it is so good to be back in Oliver Creek! I have missed being here. This story focuses on Zion with his charcuterie shop & his next door neighbor and florist extraordinaire, Cicek. I fell in love with them from the start. Past trauma delays acceptance of the fated mate bond, but HEA is assured. In true Lorelei fashion, there is Mpreg. Ooh, and your senses will be overwhelmed, and your mouth will water from all the food. There's also a taco truck! Come on. Become absorbed in this wonderful book. Quite simply, you need to get this book! Like...Now!

I loved Blooming for His Omega: Book 10 of Omegas of Oliver Creek. Cicek escaped his previous alpha when his uncle left his the flower store. Zion is his neighbor and would like more but Cicek has swore off alphas and relationships. Zion will be patient, he knows he’s found his fated mate. Throw in an unplanned pregnancy and an alpha who will never leave his omega and you have a sweet story. Zion will wait forever for Cicek, he knows what his omega deserves. I loved the storyline and the characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

You would think that with the amount of Lorelei's books I have read I would be bored or fed up with them by now! I can honestly say that even though they follow a similar theme ie: mpreg, super-sweet with knotty heat shifter mpreg romance! However the storylines and characters always completely endeared themselves to me and they always leave me feeling happy! And this book is no exception! The Omegas of Oliver Creek is another excellent series with adorable babies and the guaranteed happily ever after.

This is another great story from Ms. Hart in the Oliver Creek series. I loves it!

I love both the strong Omegas and the caring Alphas is these books. Yea, an Alpha need to be strong enough to care for his omega, but caring enough to not try to control them completely. Ms. Hart does a great job with that!

Zion and Cicek are great characters, and I'm loving the Oliver Creek shifters. Definitely recommend.

Fated mates, a sure thing, right?

Florist omega Cicek suffered enough under the control of his first “mate.” He doesn’t want to give up control over his life again. Could the next-door shop owner and an alpha bear shifter, Zion, win him over with his gifts if charcuterie and cheese? Enjoy how Zion and platypus shifter Cicek, handle their friendship, face challenges and thoroughly enjoy each other, including the steamy moments!!!

The pacing is all over the place. There is no consistency in the omegas train of thought, he goes from never wanting children to elated at being pregnant.
Even though they are shifters, the birthing makes no sense, such an easy labour is very unrealistic.
Overall, I just really didn't like it and don't know why I finished it.

Another sweet Oliver Creek story

I have enjoyed all the Oliver Creek stories and it is fun to see old friends from the other books. This one, even more than most, really brings home to idea of found family and a town where everyone looks out for each other, family indeed. I recommend the entire series.

Cicek and Zion may be fated mates, but breaking down Cicek's walls takes a bit. Zion is so patient. He allows Cicek to set the boundaries in their relationship. Being Cicek's friend, taking care of him proves he's not the same as Cicek's Ex. I liked seeing their relationship bloom and Zion get the mate he deserves. The ending is super sweet.
Highly recommended author and series

Loving this series...love all the pairings going on in Oliver Creek. In book 10...omega hedgehog and an alpha bear. Nice! I love how gentle and caring Zion is to his omega mate Cicek. It was a hard journey...a hard won journey for them to get to their HEA but it was lovely and oh so sweet.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I liked how patient Zion was in winning his mate Cicek. They supported each other's business and it certainly paid off. Zion helped Cicek get over his rotten previous relationship and it cleared the way for them to be together. I especially liked how the town remembered their kindness to them.

I loved it and I loved it some more!!! Cicek has every reason to steer clear of Alphas after the way his ex treated him, however Zion is nothing like the ex and proves it step by step. Their story is sweet and full of patient devotion from an Alpha who deserves the best and gets it from his fated mate Cicek. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Bjo
