Timing is Everything

Jefferson Bryant's best friend, Taryn, was back in town and this time he did not intend to let her get away. He’d been in love with her since high school, noticing her growing from a girl into a woman right before his eyes. It made it difficult to maintain a platonic friendship with her, but she made it perfectly clear that a relationship was not what she wanted from him. Positive that it was their time, Jefferson was not taking no for an answer. All he had to do now was convince Taryn that he was the man for her. Taryn Daniels had been running from Jefferson since they were kids. Sure, he made her body heat with a mere touch and she wanted the things she was certain he would bring to a relationship. What she refused to do, however, was sacrifice their beautiful friendship. After years apart, he still made her blood run warmer and her heart beat faster, but as usual, her timing was terrible. There was nothing she wanted more than to be more than his friend, but she was sure that their time had passed. When it comes to love, timing is everything. As Jefferson and Taryn reignite their friendship, the slow burn reaches a fevered pitch, making them wonder if their time is now!

I enjoyed this short story. I saw myself trying to rush things and realized that you just can't. God will make things happen when He is ready! Good book!

Great book

This is my second time reading this book; I could not put it down. Now that my daughter is of age I'm going to let her read it. It had some very good life lessons about true friendship and love. I've been married to my best friend for 18 years now. And as a mother I want that for my daughter. Thank you for writing such a relatable story that can transcend through time.
