Journey through the stars with the "Firestorm" series, where each book is a gateway to extraordinary adventures and cosmic conundrums. Follow the Decosta family, seasoned warriors of interstellar conflict, as they navigate through a tapestry of alien landscapes and enigmatic space phenomena.
Infected is the seventh book in this series that is perfect for those who crave high-stakes battles, unexplored worlds, and encounters with bizarre lifeforms!
Mikael and Aaron are separated with about half the crew each when Aaron is shot and taken by the Eldar Queen to be put in stasis as this is the only way to save his life.
Mikael remembers what they endured at the hands of the Eldar and, desperately wants his son out of there.
Meanwhile, Mikael and his crew meet with old allies and start reeking havoc on the Crauzus and their cohorts. However, the season veteran is getting depressed by the weight caused by so many deaths.
Again, the author uses his remarkable gift to take the reader on a virtual adventure where treachery, savageness, being separated, and the fact that no regard for human life are the norm for the civilizations they encounter. I personally find the book a tribute to a great author, a page turner and look forward to read the next book in the series while I rate this book 5 stars and highly recommend it.
As with the rest of this series the books don't leave gaps when you go to the next one . You start reading right where you left off in the last book . ( less confusion that way ) There was plenty of action both on the ground on different planets and in space but this time they have come up with a new weapon that works great. Off to the next one.
Constant war also has it's costs, as the Decostas soon learned, more so when the warmongering Queen seems to have unlimited resources. Michael Decosta at last had a brainwave resulting in their fighting craft being equipped with a new weapon system. But will it work? Especially considering that their safe haven on Avril looks like becoming at risk as well? Enjoy
