When I started reading Blind Sight I found myself getting a little confused as each timeline featured different characters and I didn't see how they related together and I got rather lost and wondering whether I would enjoy the book due to this. However, a little way into the book all the characters that were mentioned in the different timelines merged together and it all started making sense and I felt I got to know the characters more through this.
Who would have thought walking into a Biker Bar would cause so much trouble and danger for Dozer and Sadie, they go from taking a vacation to fighting for survival from some crazy novice biker gang who didn't even have bikes but the main danger seemed to be from Joey who was a little deranged to say the least. I loved the way Dozer idolized his wife Sadie and the love they had together was really heart warming. They would do anything to save each other. We also met other characters from the main biker gang of the town and in particular Otis and his daughter Grace. Otis was very into drink and drugs and ladies of the night and it seemed to get worse when his partner Sarah as killed, the never told Grace she was murdered and the guilt and truth was eating him up, and when an accident happened where The whole side of Grace's was burnt the only way he could deal with it was through the drunk and drugs. the whole book was complete suspense and at some points thriller, people you thought were dead come back to life and there is a lot of death, rising from the dead. It was thoroughly gripping and by the end I didn't want it to finish.

There was a name that was written differently during 2 pages of the book and some of the dialogue confused me (with the way people spoke) at first but all in all it was a great read.

**** I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review ****

First I have to say that this is my first book that I read from this author.

Ok so let me just say that when I started to read this book, I was a little confused but that was for the first couple of pages, after that it was great. I did not think I was gone like it but I love it, I love the characters and love how the book turned out to be, I am gone keep this short since I don't want to give anything away.

Who would have think that walking into a Biker Bar would cause so much trouble and danger for Dozer and Sadie. Not them at all walking into that bar change their life's, they went from vacation to fighting for survival, and they go through all that cause of some crazy Biker gang, and to top it all off the Bikers gang don't even own bikes, I had to laugh at that part cause I found it crazy that they are a gang but they are missing the bikes. this character when through a lot I love all the twist and turns that this book have, I really enjoy it a lot. Author Marc Douglas THANK YOU for introducing me to this awesome characters and this amazing book.

When I started to read the book description about what it was about it sounded very interesting and scary all at the same time. I thought that I would be a great suspense book that would give me chills. The Blind sight is about a young married couple Sadie and Dozer wanting to take a vacation in a remote location. When they make a wrong mistake of stopping at an isolated pub, it turns into a crazy mess just to go to the bathroom. A wanna-be biker gang becomes obsessed with them. The book had many different characters and at times for me did not make since on why they were so many storylines that were part of the story. Later on in the story the characters did all come together and it start to make sense for me. I did not like that some of the characters spoke different languages and it was difficult for me to read and understand. But in a whole with all the suspense that was going on, it was an okay book for me.

Some other people who have posted reviews of this book have stated that they thought it was "written in another language" that made it hard to read. I didn't find this to be true. I had no trouble reading this book. I felt as though the writing style of the dialogue suited each character based on their living circumstances and education level. It was a slow book to get into, but by the time I finished I was fully invested in the characters and their story. Even though Otis isn't really a likeable guy I still found myself feeling sorry for him after Sarah died as he spent his life mired in his anguish and inability to come to terms with his level of responsibility for her death. All of the different story lines came together (in my opinion) in a satisfactory manner as the novel progressed. While this is not a book I would read twice, it was not a waste of time, either. I enjoyed it. (I received a free copy of this book for the purposes of this review. All opinions are 100% my own.)

I was rather confused for the first maybe 50 pages of this book--then I finally realized that the background of the major players was being explained. Most if not all have been psychologically damaged by events in their lives prior to the events in this book. There were times that I found myself almost feeling sorry for the bad guys! As I kept reading I got more and more interested until finally I could not stop until I reached the end! This is a true psychological thriller in my opinion with myriad twists and turns which will possibly remain with you long after you finish the book. Definitely a must read for those of you who love this type of novel, which I do. Blind Sight

I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review, and in my honest opinion this book was a maze: full of twists, turns, awesome and ghastly surprises. It was interesting enough to keep me reading, yet there were times I got bored and thought of the convenience of so many things. I would have liked to see some development in certain characters as well. However it would be an interesting read for a long flight, or a lengthy wait at the Doctor's office.

A bit hard to understand some of the language. I would have loved to have a 'whose who of Blind Sight' in the book to keep some of the characters straight since there were so many characters. A teacher once said a good story has a story inside of it. Blind Sight certainly did. Lots of twists, and just when you think you figured it out, guess again!

Goodreads giveaway.

Found it hard to get in to the story for the first 1/3 of the book due to the structure. The ending seemed slightly disjointed since they talked about the dog having been important throughout but had hardly been mentioned since the early confrontations with the wannabebikers.
