Aaron, after a touch and go period where his life was hanging in the balance, is now ready to rejoin the team but his memory is spotty and frankly, he doesn't recall the war or having left the Eldar. Leylan, the Queen, is nursing him back and suffers the wrath of her sister, the Eldar council and even Mikael who simply does not accept the relationship between his son and Leylan. However, mhe has other fishes to fry, being the leader of the rebellion untill his son is better.

The new alien factions have qualified weapons designers who , after altering the firepower of the rebel crafts, inflict serious damages to the queen's fleet and allow the Centurions to get into the palace to spread havoc. However they are captured. This situation ignites a rapid action by the rebel force who finally beat the Crauzus. So close and yet so far.

Again, the author uses his remarkable gift to take the reader on a virtual adventure where treachery, savageness, wondering who to trust, being separated, and the fact that no regard for human life are the norm for the civilizations they encounter. Great read by a great author, a page turner and I look forward to read the next book in the series while I rate this book 5 stars and highly recommend it.

Great read.

They had the war won and were on their way home and the real hit the fan big time. Now these poor guys and girls are right back where they started but in worse shape than before except for some new humans have showed up , if they are human and on their side or not . Have to wait and see.

The war with the Queen and her Crausus has arrived. The rebels are set to overthrow the Queen and unite the various planets into one uniformed force.
But can they really do so?
This eighth book is high on expectations and , as we all know, at the point of contact, anything can happen.
And does. Time for biting your nails...again and again.
Enjoy
