My life was almost perfect. I had a bonding ceremony planned with the guy I thought I was meant to marry. We would move to the suburbs and have beautiful babies. But then, he met me at the altar with my best friend on his arm.
Heartbroken and defeated, I moved into my sister’s swanky New York apartment. Not that she is there most of the time, being off filming around the world for the next big blockbuster hit.
I lost myself somewhere in the process.
Then my sister signed me up for Omega in Paradise, a reality TV show where I’m 'supposed' to meet the pack of my dreams—heavy on the air quotes. True love doesn’t exist; I know that from personal experience. But with the rumor mill swirling about me, can I use the show to my benefit?
I’ve always been content to stay out of the spotlight, letting others soak up the fame and adoration. But now, I don’t have a choice.
With the spotlight on me, can I prove to the world—and to myself—that I'm not broken?
Date show omegaverse stories are one of my guilty pleasures. Whether it’s one omega building her pack or a bunch of omegas fighting over one established pack like in this one, I’ll devour them all. And “Knot Broken” absolutely did not disappoint.
I loved our fmc in this standalone; Lilah is such a relatable character, and her meet-cute with Rafe is definitely one of the funniest things I’ve read in a while. The character building of the men is more surface level, but I still liked them a lot. Actually, with how the character building was done it was like truly being a spectator of the show; what we know is what we see. I enjoyed that feeling a lot while reading. And even though what we learn of them is limited, I still liked them a lot. I couldn’t choose between Rafe, Elliott or Miles so I guess that makes them the perfect pack.
Even though this is the second book in the series, it’s still a standalone and it never felt like I missed out on anything not reading book one before this one. It was a great standalone story, and one of the rare omegaverse stories without MM.
As an ex-viewer of The Bachelor, and a huge fan of UnREAL (the drama about how dating shows are produced), I really enjoyed this omegaverse take on the trope!
Did it have spectacular relationship/character development? No. But did I like all the main characters and find the story very entertaining? Why, yes, yes I did!
I think it’s definitely been written with reality TV show fans in mind, so if that’s your jam you’ll probably like this too.
I absolutely adore the omega hiddenverse books! I devoured this entire book in a single sitting and never wanted the story to end. This book is a phenomenal read and definitely a must read if you love romance! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I wasn't confident in this tale when I read the blurb, but I love omegaverse tales, so I had to read it. A reality matchmaking show similar to The Bachelor? It was fantastic from beginning to end and I would give it more stars if they were available. I felt so bad, but thought the initial meeting of Lilah and Rafe was fantastic. She couldn't have inserted her foot further in her mouth after meeting the rest of the pack, and it was perfect. I loved Chad and his bratty brashness right from the start. My favorite part, aside from the love story (of course), was Hailey's final interaction with the pack. That was pure gold. I think it ended too soon, but it was a super fun read.

Knot Broken is book 2 in A.J. Moran’s Hiddenverse Series. If you’ve ever watched a reality TV dating series and thought what if this was a why choose situation? And what if that series featured a pack of three sinfully glorious Alpha’s? If so, then this is the book for you.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Lilah, Elliott, Miles and Rafe. This sweet story follows a jilted and betrayed Lilah and her mission of redeeming her reputation. After being publicly dumped by her boyfriend with her best friend and an unfortunate encounter with a gorgeous stranger, Lilah is hiding away in her famous sister’s home. She spends her days sequestered in the dark, binging episodes of her favorite reality dating show, Omega in Paradise and eating Twizzlers. Unbeknownst to Lilah, her sister signs her up for said dating show as a way to force Lilah back into the world. Lilah begrudgingly agrees, but in the back of her mind she thinks it’s all fake and there will not be a happily ever after for her. But as her time continues in the house and she gets to know the pack, her feelings change, and she soon realizes that these men are everything she wants. But in the back of her mind, she still has this nagging feeling that everything is still fake and at the end of the day, she will still be second best.
Miles and Rafe are not completely onboard with being on the show and they only agreed because this was something Elliott thought was necessary to keep their pack together. Elliott feels things are changing and the pack is splintering. He feels they need an Omega as the glue to keep them together. Miles and Elliott are immediately smitten with Lilah. They gravitate to her and want to get to know her better. Rafe is more guarded. After a devasting breakup and betrayal from a former girlfriend, he refuses to put himself in that position again. But he can’t deny the attraction to Lilah.
I loved the growth of Lilah and Rafe. They were both able to overcome the baggage from previous relationships and open themselves up to new love. Elliott and Miles were sweet, loving and completely swoon-worthy. The secondary characters added so much to this story. Chad was hilarious but throughout the book I had a feeling there was more to his backstory. I can’t wait to see more of him in the next book!
Overall, this was an enjoyable read. Moran is a talented author. She has a way of making her characters relatable and her stories tend to suck me in. I can’t wait to read more from her in the future.
“Knot Broken” by AJ Moran Series: Hiddenverse Genre: Omegaverse Reverse Harem Romance Rating: 4.5⭐️ Spice: 4.5🌶️ Darkness: 1🩶 POV: Multiple
Highlights: 💙Why Choose 💙Bachelor tv show 💙MH Rep 💙Super steamy group scenes
Thoughts: The premise of this spicy Omegaverse was a recently jilted Lilah goes on a tv show with other Omega contestants to try and find love with the perfect pack of Alphas. Rafe, Miles and Elliot were very rich and influential, very much like the “Bachelor”.
My favourite moments were whenever we saw from the guys POVs, described their growing attraction to Lilah. It was so romantic I would often get shivers. Especially when the author would talk about their scent attractions. I loved when she described all the small touches and glances and whenever one of the guys started purring. The spicy scenes were really hot- this is the first time I’ve seen a hand necklace outside of a dark romance. As with any reverse harem, we got the expected group bedroom scenes- super steamy.
I love how the omegas in the bachelor contest were both girls and guys- who were treated no differently. This universe seems so open and accepting of love in any way. Miles was also dealing with some MH issues. His OCD was handled both compassionately and with realism. We saw some of his struggles and symptoms along with how he compensated in his life to deal with them. On the whole, this was an enjoyable romance with a lot of spice that I would recommend to all Omegaverse and Why Choose fans.

I’ll admit upfront—reality dating shows have never been my thing. But if they’re anything like this rollercoaster of emotions, I might just be a convert! When Lilah’s meddling (but well-meaning) sister signs her up for a high-stakes reality dating show, it’s the perfect (and chaotic) opportunity for Lilah to claw her way out of heartbreak. After being brutally dumped at what should’ve been her bonding ceremony, she’s done with love. Or at least, that’s what she tells herself. Her goal is to prove to the world—and maybe herself—that she’s not broken. Lilah quickly stole my heart, as did the pack—Elliot, Miles, and especially Rafe. Oh, Rafe! Their chemistry sizzles from the get-go, especially since they’ve crossed paths before in an unforgettable (and delightfully awkward) encounter. Watching Lilah compete against a group of determined omegas, all vying for the attention of the pack, felt like bingeing my favorite guilty-pleasure soap opera—but with an addictive Omegaverse twist! With the show’s producers orchestrating chaos behind the scenes, manipulating emotions, and throwing curveballs left and right, it’s no wonder Lilah’s struggling to trust any of it. Is this love, or just part of the show? Between the tension, the miscommunications, and a dash of mean-girl drama (including the dreaded ex-girlfriend!), this book serves up the perfect slow-burn, angst-filled romance that kept me glued to every page. It’s messy, emotional, and utterly captivating—the kind of story that makes you believe in love all over again, even in the most artificial of settings. Super sweet, reality TV, Omegaverse book! 4.25 stars!
I wasn't sure what to expect going in, I wasn't as excited as I should have been for this book. I'm not a reality TV/Bachelor watcher, but I didn't let that persuade me from reading it. It was so well written and very cute.
Based on the prior book in the series, I expected the FMC to be a little more broken. There was angst about trusting people again but didn't seem like there was a lot of angst for being hurt? Still, I loved it!
I think my one and only true complaint about this book is that the fact that the FMC has a practice for therapy was somewhat brushed aside? We were digging into the friendship between her and Chad and his hurts and then it was never spoken of again. I wanted to dig into that!
Sort of a bit of a slow-burn, I wasn't expecting that, but totally made sense for the plot! The spice was delicious and I think maybe the first Omegaverse book that I've read where the FMC didn't have a heat. That was a pleasant surprise as I feel like that's always a big plot point in Omegaverse books! Overall, great book. Can't wait to read more from A.J. Moran

Cute story about Lilah, an omega, down on her luck with love. Her famous actress sister signs her up for a Bachelor type reality show. She's one of the many contestants that will vie for the chosen Alpha pack that season. Little does she know that this is her scent matched pack.
The pack consists of Rafe - Met Lilah at a party who prompting throws up on him. He's a partier and has no interest in finding an omega. Is still angry over his ex-omega's betrayal who is also a contestant on the show. Comes up with a plan to have Lilah, "fake" falling in love with his pack.
Elliot - is looking for love
Miles - only doing the show for Elliot and Rafe
The forced drama as orchestrated from the producers of the show stem from Rafe's ex-omega and Lilah's ex and ex-best friend. I felt that the exboyfriend\friend drama was a bit clunky as they showed up for a couple of pages in the book and were pretty much dismissed after a short conversation.
We do have some angst with Rafe and whether he'll admit his feelings to Lilah.
Overall it's an entertaining read!
(But can we stop using the same blond girl on every book cover?)
Knot Broken is the 2nd book in the Hiddenverse series by A. J. Moran. Lilah is an Omega who thought she was about to live out the perfect life only to find her best friend on her alphas arm at what was supposed to be their bonding ceremony. When her movie-star sister is tired of seeing her moping her around on the couch, she signs her up for Omega in Paradise - a reality show where omegas have a chance to meet the pack of their dreams. The author definitely has a way with words and the embarrassment I felt on behalf of Lilah after her initial meeting with Rafe almost had me not wanting to continue because how do you come back from that!? But Lilah proved to be stronger than she thought she was and with the help of another omega, she manages to land on her feet and keep her head high. This book has some lack of communication between the main characters which normally drives me up the wall but with past trauma all around, it was easy to understand why things happened the way they did. I absolutely adored fellow Omega Chad and Lilah's sister and I'm really hoping they get their own books.

I cannot believe that I’m saying this, but I’m going to reread this novel. I despise 😩 reality shows and this novel is about one… go figure.
With her famous sister’s insistence and to prove that she survived her fiancé and best friend’s betrayal, Lilah Robinson reluctantly agrees to be a competitor on the reality TV show “Omega in Paradise”. This novel is a contemporary version of the Omegaverse. The TV show has a number of omegas competing to be the final selection for an alpha pack. Rafe Carson, Miles Abbott and Elliott Ray are the wealthy alphas headlining the show. What initially is a means for something other than a permanent bond for most of the contestants, including Lilah and Rafe, winds up becoming much more.
Despite the usual reality show drivel, the story is fascinating, well paced, steaming with naughtiness and contains realistic dialogue. The author will captivate you with the characters’ vulnerabilities, peculiarities, and romantic natures. Enjoy this 5 star ⭐️ show. I have received an ARC from the author and I am leaving an unbiased review voluntarily.
I loved this version of the reality show. Liliah was jilted at her bonding ceremony by her best friend and her Alpha. She was sitting around moping until her sister talked her into going out. When she did she got drunk and puked all over Rafe a star and Alpha she was going out to dance with. After that she was even more depressed because she was all over the tabloids. Her sister talked her into going on a reality show to find her pack. She only did it to get out of the house. Rafe, Miles, and Elliott were the Alphas on the show. They were doing it to keep their pack together because Rafe had been spiraling and they feared for their pack. They didn't think they'd really find their true match there. Then they met Liliah and all bets were off, but the show kept changing the rules on them. Liliah didn't expect to find love or friends on the show. I found Chad refreshing and Willow was also a breath of fresh air. I loved how the show tried to manipulate the Alphas at every turn, but they found ways around the rules. I highly recommend this book.
This story sucked me in wayyy more than I anticipated. I made the mistake of starting it just before midnight, and I read 22 chapters before I realized it was almost 3 am and I had to be up at 6:45 am. Whoops. I’ve never been a huge fan of dating shows, but I fell for this book so hard.
Lilah has been through it with her ex. Ashlyn may have been a little pushy, but I’m so glad Lilah had her to push. Oh, the secondhand embarrassment I felt with Lilah and Rafe’s meeting was rough. She bounces back, though, and it was a great time getting to witness her healing and falling for this pack.
Miles definitely ended up being my favorite, but I think it’s because I love the obsessive men. Elliot was adorable. Rafe was the resistant one, but I think that made his fall that much sweeter.
I so hope we get Chad and Ashlyn’s stories! They both deserve a happily ever after, too.
Definitely 5/5 stars. I’d give this one a 2/5 spice. It’s a slow burn with quite a bit of angst, but it’s soooo good.
I did receive this as an advance copy, and this is my honest review.
Lilah … battered and slightly broken and I loved her. Her self awareness and awareness of others kept me chuckling throughout.
A sister that pushes her out of her wallowing and isn’t afraid to stand up for her and help her get what she deserves. Everyone needs a sister like her and I hope she gets her own book.
I admit .. not a fan of the bachelor type of shows but that as the background for the growth of four people was pretty good.
While she was vying … or not vying … along with 30 other omegas for a pack of her own she was growing and opening herself back up.
Rafe … he was a trainwreck waiting to happen and his deal he made with her …
Elliot … he just wanted an Omega to help them be more
Miles …. He was the teddy bear and even though he didn’t like the game he played it
OW drama only because of the Ex and not anything for concern…
An enjoyable, fun and at times steamy read.
Fairytales can come true and love does exist .

If you want to read a story with a broken FMC and a pack on the verge of breaking, but fall in love, with a small amount of drama, and get a sappy, emotional happy ending, this is the book for you.
Lilah is jilted by her ex and reluctantly joins a reality show. She realizes right away that she has feelings for the Alpha pack, but thinks they are faking it. There was a lot of miscommunication and hurt feelings due to lack of trust and faith.
Through it all, I felt every emotion this book put out. The hope, sadness, frustration and so much love. Rafe, Elliot, and Miles knew what they wanted, but the show and resulting backlash if they walked away stopped them from going for it. There was a bit of drama with another ex, but it wasn't a main part of the story.
I am so excited for Lilah and her HEA! They really deserve their happiness. I do hope we see more of Chad in upcoming books. His brash, confident personality covered his broken pieces well. He needs a happily ever after.
I loved reading A.J. Moran’s Knot Broken. Our FMC's sister Ashlyn finds the FMC sulking on her couch day after day. So, she gets Lilah a place on Omega’s Paradise to help her out. Why may you ask; because she wants Lilah to have a chance at happiness. Knot Broken opens to Lilah throwing her last snack at the tv. What snack could that be? Well if this intrigues you, come join Lilah as she learns some things about love that she no longer believed to be true. Meet these fantastic characters that had me laughing and smirking from beginning to end over their conversations and what occurred in general. What a journey A.J. took us on! I really enjoyed the snark that the guys kept giving Hailey every time they had to be on camera with her. The director had to keep calling 'cut' and 'roll' again. Knot Broken felt almost like a tv show or movie, but it’s a book! The twists and turns really had me wondering what Lilah, Chad, and the other characters were going to do next.
If you like the show The Bachelor, you will love this book!
When Lilah's fiancé shows up to their wedding with her bff on his arm and she's been sulking for too long, her sister finally drags her out of the apartment only to have a seriously embarrassing moment. Of course that's made even more embarrassing when Lilah finds out her sister also signed her up for a dating show...and one of the bachelors in the pack is the hot guy she made a fool of herself in front of.
Her time on the show is much like we would expect - the set-up is similar (group dates, single dates, elimination ceremonies) and of course there are the catty women...but thankfully Lilah has Chad (who is hilarious) to help her through it all and give a bit of comic relief.
Oh - and of course some spicy times as well! Can't forget those!
I hated Hailey. She was delusional and mean. I would be sad if I lost a guy like Rafe but it was her fault. The humor was great. Especially when Lilah was talking about their knot sizes and said Elliot was probably the biggest and then rafe walked in. Chad was amazing. Despite being abrasive towards others, he was brutally honest and sweet with Willow and Lilah and that's what they needed. Everything wouldn't have happened if not for Ashlyn and I'd love a book with her love story because Owen rubbed me wrong the moment he appeared. Miles is so sweet and caring. Elliot took care of her so well during the rut they had together. Rafe, he has issues. Which is understandable with Hailey being his ex. But he helped Lilah and healed himself during the span of the book and I love his growth. The spice was hot 🔥 🥵.
What can I say. Book 2, beyond words. When book 1 came out, I was completely obsessed with it. Then I found out she had a second book coming out and I ran so fast to get it!
This book has a slow-burn plot then punches you right in the face. The pack.. Rafe, Elliot and Miles, ughh swoon worthy. From the first time we meet Rafe, to the end of the book, I fell more and more in love with him. Elliot and Miles were definitely more of a surprise for me. Their personalities were everything.
I started this book at 9pm tonight thinking I would just start it and finish it tomorrow. It's now 2am on the same night, I just finished the book and im panting over having to wait for more -lol. Do me a favor, go pick up this book right now. I promise you won't regret it!!
The story was well written and unique. So many OV are the same but this plot was original for me. Those 2 things are what give it 4 stars, imo. What keeps it from being 5 stars is that all the drama hinges on very intentional misunderstandings/miscommunication on the part of Rafe and Lilah. I know, trauma…blah, blah, blah but they were scent matches and their actions didn’t match their words. So they were both willfully obtuse the whole time and that became a little grating after a while. There were some other minor annoyances throughout the story but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. Just take this for what it is…a quick, light, sweet OV. It’s a decent pallet cleanser if you are generally into darker themes.
Loved, loved, the beginning. Lilah was stood up at her bonding ceremony by her Alpha and best friend. She has been moping around the house until her sister signs her up for Omega in Paradise show. Lilah had gone out with her sister who is an actress to a club and Lilah proceeded to drink while watch Rafe, a hot actor dancing in a cage. Lilah goes to the dance floor and runs into Rafe who asks her to go outside so they can talk. Lilah proceeds to throw up on Rafe instead. Lilah is picked to go onto this show and when she is driven there by the limo and sees Rafe, Miles and Elliot the pack who is doing the looking for an Omega. So she is in competition between them all for this pack. Great read,
Well written, fast paced read. Love the way Lilah first meets Rafe at the club and vomits all over him. Her sister enters her on a reality show to help her find love after her ex dumped her. We are able to follow her thru the show. She meets up with Rafe, Elliott and Miles the pack who are looking for an omega to join them. As they spend more time together , the closer they get. Elliott and Miles bind to Lilah very quickly after meeting her but Rafe isn't feeling that way. It does take him some time to reach his inner heart. Lots of steam between them. Has some laughs with Chad , another competitor involved in the show. Everyone gets their happily ever after except Rafe's ex. Would recommend to others. I received this book and leave this unbiased, honest review.
This was my first book by AJ Moran and I really enjoyed it. I watch the dating shows lol so it was nice to read something that had it in that lol. Been a while since I had. I really loved the beginning of this book it pulled me in pretty quickly with the FMC Lilah.
I have to say I really liked Lilah’s sister and how with her being heartbroken she wanted to help her. I loved the meeting of the MMCs and the way Lilah met them. Let’s just say she left an impression lol.
This book gave me a few laughs and smiles. I really enjoyed the sweet moments but also the steamy moments too. Those were a plus lol.
Overall, I enjoyed the book and I will definitely be reading more by this author! Highly recommend if you’re looking for an omegaverse book! This one was good and interesting!
4.5 stars - This author is quickly becoming a favourite of mine. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and all the characters, and was sad when the story ended. Lilah and Rafe were so guarded and self sabotaging in a way, so it was satisfying to see them finally open themselves up. Miles and Elliott were so sweet and I wish we got to know a bit more about them. The supporting characters were also very interesting. I hope we also get books about Chad, Willow, Ashlyn, and even Hailey. In short, I would recommend this book. It is the second book in the series but totally stands on its own.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Bachelor in the Omegaverse, a pack looking for an omega where not everyone in the pack is completely sold on the concept. An omega who was left at the altar by their alpha. A very fun read about how a heartbroken omega ends up on their favorite show, Omegas in Paradise, where the goal is to be chosen as the pack’s omega.
It was a really fun read and the concept of a dating show in omegaverse is so fun. I have read similar but different in Miranda May omegaverse, but in her’s the omega is like the bachelorette and builds her pack. But in this the pack is the bachelors looking for an omega.
I have mix feelings with this book. I don’t if it’s because I read it so fast ,that I felt that Lilah deserved more grovel from Rafe, I mean I loved all the drama and how instalove was for Elliot and Miles. But with Rafe I don’t know, like I said I have mix feelings. It was entertaining, Chad stole the show in this book and I really want to his book next. Lilah was my favorite her little side remarks was everything. So I will give this book 4 ⭐️ because it was one of those book that I wanted to finished in a day for how good and entertaining it was.
Thank you booksirens for this arc and I’m leaving my honest review
Knot Broken is the second book in the Hiddenverse world written by A. J. Moran.
💜 omegas and alphas 💜 past hurts 💜 second chances 💜 scent matches 💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spice
Lilah just wants to sit and wallow after being unceremoniously left at the altar by her alpha and her best friend. Watching past Omega in Paradise, she can escape those thoughts. Her sister talks her into going out for the night and she sees the most gorgeous man dancing in the cages. Finding a little liquid courage is what’s needed, right? Nothing can go wrong now, can it?
This was a fun addition to this world. Lilah was fun to follow on her journey throughout the book. The pack was also fun to follow. I loved how they each had their own things that they as to work through and figure out. But, I really like how these books are all connected with Omega in Paradise show. So, it’s the show in the book and I was here for it. I can’t wait to see what other stories come out in this world.
What a story. Omegaverse with reality tv but the awful kind that is mainly for show really. 30 omegas looking for a pack. Now that sounds like a great idea to join right? Omega in paradise. But nothing is what it seems. The pack is one not looking for love but who knows? Rafe, Elliot and Miles are a pack but with a bad trackrecord when it's omegas. One bad experience. Then there is Lilah and she strikes a deal with Rafe. She first vomitted on his shoes and now she meets him when joining the show. However the heart wants what it wants and somethings can't be helped it seems but of course there are things keeping them apart. Loved reading this book.
