The book consist out of three parts. Part 1. System Design Basic -> this was solid gold, it explains principles and patters from the ground up. Awesome. Part 2. Diving Deep Into AWS Services -> okay-ish, it's a poor recap/overview/taxonomy of the AWS services, the only benefit this one brings is that it builds further from Part 1, which in essence means that if you don't know AWS this is way to short/simple if you already know AWS this adds not value. And finally Part 3 covers 7 distinct use-cases applied on AWS. I can understand there's some value in this for some ... but to me they didn't bring any value. These 7 use-cases are the textbook examples for which one can easily find the reference architectures online.

detailed and easy-to-understand way to system design on AWS. One thing i really like about this book is from compute, storage and networking services within AWS, the author makes everyday instances in laying out system design on AWS.
