A quick (41 page) read about enemies to lovers reuniting...
It was a cute story.
Well written. A firefighter, Dean, is clearly the star here.
It definitely has a harlequin romance vibe to it, only not as angst driven.. The one really 🔥scene here, I would give 🌶🌶s
A good quick read for wanting to cleanse your reader palate or when you're not sure what you'd like to read next.

Communicating and Sheer Determination Brought them Happiness -
Marigold wasn’t happy her sister had arranged for someone to come and help he4 whilst she was incapacitated, but finding out the person was the one who teased he4 all through high school made it worse. Dean had been intensely attracted to Marigold for years, but he had dealt with it in a negative way in high school, which made him her nemesis. However, spending time in close proximity seemed to change Marigold’s perspective towards Dean, which led to them exploring a mind blowing steamy session.
Unfortunately, an issue of communication failure caused a misunderstanding between Marigold and Dean, but it gave him the courage to finally acknowledge his feelings and declare his intentions towards her, so they could have the life he wanted with her. This is an exciting novella, with drama, angst, passion and enough witty banter to keep you hooked on the story all the way through. This is a definite must read book.

Goldie had only meant to be visiting with her sister to help out, she wasn’t meant to be sat with her leg in plaster after falling whilst painting the porch. To make matters worse her sister had to go and stay with their parents whilst her mother was recuperating after an operation. So that left Goldie and the dog that had been fostered to their own devices. She hadn’t been expecting anyone checking up on her least of all her high school crush Dean, the one who had made her high school life a nightmare. Goldie had thought that her crush had died long ago but being in his company proves that you never get over your first love. But how will she react when she wakes up to find him gone, did he play her or is there another reason she is alone?
Dean had no idea when he took over the volunteer Rota for the local church that he was about to see the one woman who had always been the one, even when he was a teenager Goldie had been the one but instead of showing her his heart he behaved like a normal teenage boy and teased her. That was years ago and seeing her after all these years has proved that they are meant to be, only with Goldie holding on to the past he is finding it harder to show her that they are the future. Just when he thinks that he has finally proved that he is no longer that teenage boy who had tormented her and broken her heart, things fall apart all over again. I love we are back in Snowflake Falls with another member of the Fire Department. Dean is living his life doing a job he loves, quite different than a NFL career, but fulfills him.
He doesn't expect to run into visiting Marigold. Marigold has injured her leg and needs some help when her sister that lives there has to go out of town suddenly. The woman he had the hugest crush on in school, but of course he came across as a bully not a mate.
Marigold can't believe running into the guy who spent high school teasing and giving her a hard time. Especially since she can't get away from him so easy. Dean knows from the moment he lays eyes back on her she is the one for him.
I love the humor, and mixed feeling as he tries to convince Marigold he really does care for her, is in love with her, and will do anything to prove it.
Its got the past connection of high school and how kids can be both mean and not understood. Dean is able to show her a side of himself that he was able to fall in love with because of her.
Its got great humor, all the ooey, gooey yummy smexy vibes, and a building HEA you couldn't want to happen! This is the perfect mix of hallmark, sexy, and heart you can't help but love

I loved this novella!!! It’s a quick , short read with all of the feels packed into it. Dean is a firefighter and not only knew Marigold (Goldie) in high school but he teased her mercilessly! The whole time he was crushing on her but had no clue how to handle it so he and his friends teased her. Goldie is home visiting because her parents are sick and her sister lends Goldie her place since Goldie broke her ankle and has a boot on it.
Goldie’s sister has arranged for a volunteer to help Goldie out and to help care for the foster dog. Guess who the volunteer is? Yep - it’s Dean!! He sees this as his second chance with her but he is nowhere near vulnerable to just tell Goldie how he feels.

How did I end up with a broken foot while visiting snowflake falls? I’m stuck at my sister’s while I wait to go back to the doc to get my boot. My sister didn’t tell me she lined up a volunteer service to help walk the dog. When there is a knock at the door the volunteer enters and it’s none other than my high school arch evil teaser/jokester Dean. This is not going to work! Apparently he doesn’t remember how he humiliated me. For Dean he sees this as an opportunity to finally tell Goldie how he feels about her. It’s been 10 years but he has always loved her and only her and he knows this is forever. One loves. One hates. What can possible happen? It’s a fun, light hearted, romantic, sassy, sexy, love story. It’s such a great short story and it will leave you with a good feeling. The dogs are a bonus -Poupon and Moose - they are hilarious and soon best friends!.

This time it is Dean Montag, the twin brother of Tay, who finds his forever lady in his high school crush, Marigold Evans. Marigold broke her ankle while she was back in Snowflake Falls visiting her sister. So what was supposed to be a quick trip has turned into a much longer one as she heals while waiting for her cast to come off. When her mother ends up in the hospital her sister has to go there, leaving Marigold by herself. But have no fear as the volunteers will be there......in the form of one big, tall, built, and sexy Dean. These two have a history from school that will not get them off on the right footing but just went things look like they will slip away a strong chest and hands will be there to stop you from falling.
This was a fun and entertaining book. I liked the characters of Dean and Goldie, along with the foster dog Moose.

Marigold "Goldie" is an artist who hurt her ankle while visiting home. Dean is a hunky firefighter-EMT. When Goldie is watching her sister's dog, her sister lets her know a church volunteer will be over to help. She never expects it to be Dean, her secret high school crush. The jock teased her about being nerdy. He secretly liked her, and she never knew. She is very grumpy towards him, but he is determined to win his girl. Can he show her that he's changed and is all in? This couple had great chemistry, and we ended on a happy note after a little bit of angst. I can't wait for Poppy's book next!!.

Dos livros da série, esse era o que eu mais tinha vontade de ler, porque eu amo um enemies to lovers. A história foi bem legal, mas novamente a autora usou a tática do casal dormir junto e, na manhã seguinte, um deles desaparecer, sem dar nenhuma explicação, sem deixar nem sequer um bilhete. Dos últimos 6 livros da autora que li, 5 tiveram isso no final da história, e em todos os 6 a noite de amor virou briga na manhã seguinte. Fica cansativo ver sempre a mesma coisa, poderia variar um pouco esse final. Talvez se eu já não tivesse visto isso nos livros anteriores, tal fato não teria me incomodado tanto, mas depois de 6 história com a mesma "crise" no final, acho que já deu, né?!
Apesar disso, não deixa de ser uma ótima história - mesmo Dean tendo sido um babaca com a Mari no colégio.

I loved His Passion Book 4 of Snowflake Falls Fire Department. Dean used to tease Marigold relentlessly but it was because he was in love with her. She didn’t know that and just knew that he treated her poorly. When she’s injured he’s sent to help her and he knows it’s time to confess his true feelings. Will Goldie give him a chance at forever or will she keep hiding onto past hurts? I loved this short and sweet story, and the characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

This was a fun and hot read that gives Dean his second chance with his first love, Marigold, or Goldie, as he likes to call her. She wasn't impressed with him being her helper as she recovered, since he was her high school bully. Yeah, Dean has a lot to make up for but thankfully, he has time to show her the man he is now, rather the kid who didn't know what to do with all the intense feelings he had for her. I really enjoyed how this one unfolded and loved that Dean both got his chance and he got his girl. So fun!

Marigold is back in Snowflake Falls, what should be a short visit ended with a broken ankle and a new volunteer for her and her sister's foster dog. Dean is an EMT and her new volunteer for the next days. Well and she had a huge crush on him in high school. Dean had a crush on her too and now he has finally the chance to get his woman. Sweet, steamy, fun to read, short, romantic, second chance but Instalove too and safe-ish(for safety lovers, yes they knew each other in HS but nothing happens then) with a sweet HEA and no drama😍😍😍😍

This is Book 4 of Snowflake Falls Fire Department starring Dean Montag and Marigold. Well that is one way to ask for a change at winning the one person you have been in love with since high school but may have not been as smooth as you thought you were. I have to say the pint size dog might have helped. I have to say this man sure knows how to get under Marigold’s skin. But they are perfect together.

If ever there was a time to redeem himself this is it! Dean needs to right the wrongs of high school when he was young and stupid, but Goldie has a long memory! Apologies, woo-ing, grovelling, flowers, sweet treats and smooth words, Dean has them all and you can almost see Goldie's heart thawing....until he trips up again with a silly "man mistake".
They do make a very sweet couple but for me they are not my favourite of the series, I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

This was a cute enemies to lovers romance. I really liked the way the story was written and the storyline, the fact that Dean and Marigold had history together was great, it made their connection seem even more real. I also enjoyed how Dean was able to get the real reason behind his behavior in high school and worked to show that he had changed. I liked the story.

I enjoyed this book so much. Dean and Marigold have known each other since high school. Dean had a huge crush on her, but as a teenage boy, he didn't really know how to handle the emotion involved. So, like most boys, he picked at Marigold until she couldn't stand him. Now she is back in town, and Dean wants to show her he is a grown man. The plot is great, and the chemistry is excellent. Great book!

Dean and Marigold are so sweet. I loved that he realised that he had made a mistake when he was in high school, that he had truly fallen for her then and he was now desperate to set things right. Marigold is recovering from a broken ankle and Dean volunteers to help her out. This is a sweet and steamy second chance romance with believable characters and a great ending. His Passion is book four and a great addition to the Snowflake Falls Fire Department series. I can't wait to read the next book. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Dean was the star athlete and jokester who teased Marigold throughout high school. Several years later she’s back in Snowflake Falls and he has his chance to make things right and win the heart of the girl who got away. He is such a sweet man and his path to her heart is not easy but he wins it in the end for one of the sweetest HEAs ever. Love this latest edition from Jessa Joy

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover- Seriously this is sweet as syrup
This was short and kinda nice? The protagonist wasn’t the most likeable, but her fella was a sweetie. I approve of the safe sex that was practiced, but it wasn’t graphic or dark and angsty like the cover.
Probably just the right length to hold my attention. Not an innuendo.
