Having worked on projects with New York Times Bestsellers and USA Today bestsellers, Georgia Wagner recently hit #1 bestseller with her newest series. Location and character are two big factors for Georgia, and getting those right allows the story to flow seamlessly onto the page. And flow it does, because Georgia is so prolific a new term is required to describe the rate at which nerve-tingling stories find their way into print.
When not found attached to a laptop, Georgia likes spending time in local arboretums, among the trees and ponds. An avid cultivator of orchids, begonias, and all things floral, Georgia also has a strong penchant for art, paintings, and sculptures. A many-decades-long passion for mystery novels and years of chess tournament experience makes Georgia the perfect person to pen the Artemis Blythe series. That's where it all started, but the drive to craft thrilling mystery tales soon demanded new characters in new locations.
Sophie Quinn is back along with Jonathan Greer in another thriller courtesy of the magnificent pen of Georgia Wagner. To say this book is a triumph would be underselling . Truly ,this series gets better and better. Sophie Has a new ally …in her ongoing quest to find a pest and she is close to discovering a name . Not just any name but the one that haunts her waking hours as well as capturing her rem sleep. River Killer . Jonathan Greer is hunting evidence of Hitchens’ murder and misdemeanours after he and Sophie are fired from the FBI . Both are alone in their personal endeavours ,no longer together but then that changes ..That they’re both no strangers to suspense , action and facing their demons , ghosts of the past and future spectres in the shadows of their souls is clear. Both have their own goals , he goes after Hitchens’ killer and she follows on her path to uncover RK but both of them come back stronger with a powerful will. Top bill ! What a thrill of a gripping story! They’re undone but fight on, determined to face their demons and corruption of the city head on . Rid Louisiana of the poison within but to what sacrifice? And how deep does it go?There’s sinister and there’s this ,the most cruel and taunting so far. And just when things come to an head they’re thrown for a loop so terrifying and haunting they may never come back…Brilliant! Bravo a masterpiece that kept my attention so fiercely , I was completely edge of my seat engrossed in the book and not wanting to put it down. Every chapter needing to be delved into and explored ,immersed into held in the grip of the storytelling. Very well written and compelling book .
Okay I'm totally and I mean totally hating Sophie Quinn right now. Her personality changed, she dumped Greer and she is investigating using the River Killers son. I hate how she is acting. She's mad at Greer for slugging that little weasel Hitchens that had her friend murdered and who has hit out on her. She is just annoying me. The first couple books were awesome but the last one.I read and this one are giving me indigestion. She supposedly loves or.is falling in Love with Greer and her thoughts are noe I don't have access to the files and the FBI. All because of him she thinks. Its just so wrong. I.am not sure I want to read it even. Plus the first scene.is.horrendous! A evil person blows up the stable with horses in it. I almost quit at that. Just not hitting.the mark with me so far.

The Spider's Art gives you a rollercoaster of emotions as mysteries, intrigue, deceit and lies are mingled together to cover crimes deep within the Police Force. Sophie and Greer have their lives torned apart after he punched his boss but they'll eventually join forces again to find their number one enemy. When things seemed to be all explained another casualty happens and the story ends in a cliffhanger. I just hope that the next book is released asap! I thank the author for this ARC.
Wowza! Talk about an action packed merry go round! Things are heating up, Sophie getting closer (she thinks) to the River Killer and Greer is doing his best to find the dirt on Hitchens, both ignoring the other since they were fired, when all hell breaks loose and that brings them back into each other's life. An exciting, action-packed book!
I wish there were more than 5 stars to give to this story. It should be 10 stars. It is a whirl-wind go-around for Sophie and Greer. A dizzying, dazzling, dangerous adventure sure to keep you at full attention. You won't want to miss this incredible book. Highly Recommended.
It was great to read about Sophie again! As always, edge of your seat action and suspense! It is unputdownable and you'll find your list of things to do just didn't get done. Worth it!!
