Speaking the Gospel Today: A Theology for Evangelism

Rate this book
This practical textbook and tool enables readers to evaluate programs and current thoughts regarding contemporary evangelism that will lead to the development of individual evangelism programs. This book attempts to model the way in which the insights of theologians, the observations of other disciplines, and the pulse of popular culture can be brought together to inform the bridge-builders, the baptized children of God, on ways of constructing the bridges over which they, as the Holy Spirit's agents, can bring the dying into new life in Christ.

Read this for my Evangelism intensive at sem. The 'Genesis 3' part of the book is worth the price by itself, as it takes apart the modern approach to spirituality for a valuable understanding of that view when it comes to talking about the Faith.

Even though it was for class, it was an excellent book. It talked about creative and imaginatirve ways to present the gospel message to churched and unchurched alike.
