Ellie Exton's Sweet Heat: A MF Sweet Sports Omegaverse delivers a satisfying blend of romantic sweetness 🌶️ and spicy tension 🔥. Posie Moore, the FMC, struggles with amnosia following a car accident, making her story compelling as you read about her struggles with the trauma and also the fatphobia that surrounds her. Miller, the MMC, adds significant heat to the narrative, though his close ties to Posie's family create complications (think best friend's baby sister) 😬. This book, I am not even joking when I could have read it in one sitting but even stopping the time I did I thought about it the whole time.

This book is so sweet, you wouldn't tell by the cover that it would have been a monster romance. Which I absolutely love. I was kinda shocked when I started it and it started talking about werewolves and their heat. I thought I was going to be reading a first time sports romance. But boy was I in for a treat.

Which yes it does have baseball ⚾ in it but that isn't all.

You have Posie that just wants to have an normal life. But unfortunately she had a horrible accident when she was younger and lost her sense of smell. So now she is starting her business and about to be out of college with no mate. Which in her world can be something very dangerous for her. And you see that in this book....

This isn't all a sweet little romance book. You have alphas going after her, trying to hurt her. But with the help of her brother best friend, he has gotten her out of some sticky situations. But has he been her faded made the whole time?

You will have to read it to find out. This book gave me all the feelings and couldn't put it down! The way Miller is with Posie is so delicious!

I went into this book blind and don't regret it at all. This is one of my favorites this year!

This was a really sweet read! Posie and Miller are so cute together - they have this amazing connection.

Sweet Posie, she was in an accident and lost her sense of smell and thinks her brother’s BFF Miller hates her…how will she find her scent match if she can’t smell?

She really struggled with feelings of self doubt and l loved how her confidence grew. She had been sheltered by her family and I loved how she was reaching for some independence.

Miller!!!! He is a top tier book boyfriend. He is so sweet and thoughtful and kind to Posie…with a few st@lker-ish tendencies. He is protective and has these perfect unhinged moments too. I loved his nickname for her - swoon!

We get to see them work through their past trauma…and that might just involve driving lessons!

I love great female friendships and Posie’s friends were the best. I loved how they supported each other. I can’t wait for the next book!

I want a Miller! My goodness, that Alpha was the best kind of protective. He didn't smother or try to control; he only wanted to keep Posie safe and cherished. He set her up to fly freely, waiting on the ground for her to return to his warm, loving arms. They were adorable together once they worked through the bumps. Excited to see Owen's story next!

I need a dentist! That was sugary sweet!
Miller is the perfect cinnamon roll book boyfriend. Obsessed, possessive, protective, caring…another woman touching him disgusts him. He only wants one woman and he will do whatever is necessary to make her his. Posie is a wonderful heroine. Super sweet and caring. A bit insecure, but Miller helps her with that. Because this is omegaverse we get a lot of spicy spice, with slick, rutting and knots. This book is basically just a story of two people living each other and building a relationship, not a whole lot else happens, but I was here for it! Miller made this book!

Safety:
- OW: OW in a bar throws her arms around H and flirts with him. H is disgusted by it and gets rid of her ASAP.

It’s adorable. I don’t know how else to describe this book! I loved it! The story is sweet and Miller the best! I loved the alpha and omega, the bit of obsession Miller has and the fact that there is no miscommunication break up!

Posie is a fun and interesting FMC. She is an omega that lost her sense of smell due to a car accident. They know their mates by smell so that is problematic.

Miller is the best. He knows his scent match and has been watching over her for years without anyone knowing. Omega’s are not super common and are truly unsafe out and about without someone watching over them.

I love how her inability to smell him to know he is her scent match is ummmm fixed in another way. 😂. IYKYK

I could not put this sweet omegaverse down! Posie and Miller are perfect from the start, actively avoiding each other, even though they both have a crush. Posie can’t smell, which makes omega life so hard, but she doesn’t let it get her down. Miller plays pro baseball with Posie’s brother, and he worships the ground Posie walks on. There’s some miscommunication , some lighthearted stalking, and a villainous alpha that tries to step in. So many sweet moments, so many spicy moments, and a sneak peek at the next book in the series at the end.

I almost rated this a five star but the lack of an epilogue hurt too much 😩

I’m not one that normally reads MF books - like one every 4-5 months. I’m a reverse harem girlie through and through. But this one kept speaking to me and I had to give it a shot. And boy am I glad I did. Miller is such a stalker cutie and I’m just obsessed with his obsession with Posie. The devotion and love he had for our girl had me swooning left and right. Their relationship growth was just so beautiful. I honestly don’t have any complaints other than no epilogue (that’s a sin btw 😭😂). Ellie created characters that were so likable and I just love the whole baseball and stalking aspect. Give us more unhinged book boyfriends. Looking forward to reading more from this author. 10/10 recommend 🖤

This is a 4.75 for me. This was such a fun read and I loooooved Miller and if I were to choose a book BF it would be miller. He was the perfect blend of possessive, a little dark with the stalking and how far he took it sometimes, but it literally was to watch over her and take care of her every desire not in a way to stifle her. Unlike her family who I get it they went through a major trauma and were overprotective even before the accident but oh my god you would think she was still 13 with the way they were treating her. Like the idea of her moving out to live with her GFs sent her mother into a literal panic attack and her mates would stunt their daughter for the comfort of their mate. The "adults" her parents and brother need serious therapy. Like what the brother accused Miller his best friend of when he found out was horrible and just shows how they truly saw their daughter. Now Posie was an absolute sweetheart who was wrapped in cotton locked in a cage basically suffocating and my heart just broke for her because as an omega she is on the softer side and wants to please her family and keep them happy and not upset them but at the same time she is doing everything she can to push the limits they have set on her and be her own grown ass woman.

Now the two of them were just so cute bc anyone with eyes in their head who aren't deliberately being obtuse can see how much these two liked each other. Like it was not subtle but with her condition it was hard for her to believe in her heart and what it wanted, and Miller didn't want to just tell her bc you know "trust me bro" wouldn't have worked with her. So, to overcompensate he would stalk her, and it was just so cute. Then once they got together and she was allowed to spread her wings finally bc yes Miller was overprotective and possessive, but he was overprotective/possessive in a way to put things in place so that she could safely do whatever she wanted. He was just all about spoiling her in a very over the top manner once he was allowed to and keeping her safe which like goals.

loved the book and characters and I had such a fun time reading it that I finished it in a day. I can't wait to see what the author writes next because I really have enjoyed the books so far in this series.

So, this book is about Posie who was in a car accident when she was younger which resulted in the loss of her sense of smell. As an omega in a world where scents are so important the loss of this sense has affected every part of her life with dating and her confidence. So, she has been focusing on her growing jewelry business, college and her girl squad. So, she has sworn off alphas because what is the point if she can't see if they are her scent match as well her tiny obsession with her brother's best friend who is a catcher for the local professional baseball team. The thing is he hates her and for good reason because other than being the little sister of his best friend, she is the reason why in the same car crash that took her sense of smell that his parents were killed. So, she knows that nothing will come of her crush. That is until Miller comes barreling back into her life with sweet words that stir her heart and body leading to a kiss that has him claiming they are scent match mates but how can she be sure when she can't smell his scent. Well, she better figure it out fast because that kiss triggered her first heart and the only person she wants to help her through it.

I've been waiting for 9 months for this book since I've read Cleat Heat. I'm so excited that it's finally coming out since the teaser she released 9 months ago at the end of that book. I can now say that I've never read a sweeter Alpha/Omega couple. Miller takes the cake in Alpha book boyfriends.

So, Miller is Posie's brother's best friend. They grew up together and also play on the same professional baseball team together. Miller is the catcher for the team, and Posie's brother, Owen, is the pitcher. While Owen had always tried to get Miller to join his pack, he always knew he couldn't because he knew of his scent match.

Posie was in a horrible car accident that left her unable to smell anymore. With the hope that it would one day return, in 7 years, it has never returned. So, not knowing if she has a scent match and not being able to trust what makes her an omega left her feeling hopeless in a lot of ways.

Posie has always had a crush on Miller, but had often thought that Miller hated her due to things that happened during that accident that left her feeling responsible. Not to mention Miller always leaving the same room she was in growing up, and often grumpy and looking unhappy when she was around him.

That could be farther from the truth for Miller, but he always stayed away from Posie due to several reasons. One, his best friend being her brother. Two, her being so young at the time. Three, her parents basically being like parents to him. Four, her family owning the baseball team he plays for, and five, her disability and him not wanting her to not believe him.

Even though Miller knows Posie is supposed to be his omega, he's basically stalked her over the past 7 years. Putting trackers in her shoes and following her around to make sure she's safe. The problem is that the longer he has stayed away, the more of an issue it is for him to be around her without wanting to run off with her. He just needs to make her his.

This book was every bit as good as I knew it would be. Ellie Exton is the author that made me fall in love with OV, as she was the first author I read in the OV world. I was obsessed with Miller and Posie. Thank you for bringing big girls into the book world 🙌 and for hot athletes like Miller to fall for them.

Now, if you could just stop with these teasers at the end of the book, lol. I was often curious about Owen and his pack in this book, but that teaser gave me nothing...NOTHING! I have loved all your omegaverse books you've come out with, and I can't wait for Elite Heat.

Sweet Heat by Ellie Exton is a heartwarming Omegaverse romance that took me on an unexpected journey filled with sweetness, excitement, and a little bit of obsession.

The two main characters, Posie and Miller, have such undeniable chemistry. I loved his nickname for her, too. Posie, an omega who lost her sense of smell in a car accident, is a unique FMC. She isn't the typical skinny girl's body type but is instead a voluptuous character, which makes her even more relatable and refreshing. In the world of the Omegaverse, omegas, and alphas typically bond through scent, so Posie's inability to smell makes her situation uniquely challenging. Enter Miller, the alpha who has known from a young age that she is his scent match. He's been watching over her for years out of respect for her brother, his best friend, and because she was so much younger than him. He's always silently ensured she stayed safe, even though she didn't know it.

I loved how Miller's obsession with her isn't the typical, problematic kind. It's a protective, thoughtful obsession. He has been there, quietly looking out for her, adding a deep layer of affection to their relationship. It's not just about finding his mate but about years of love and loyalty.

What really stood out to me was how Ellie Exton developed the storyline. There was some angst and miscommunication, but it was handled so well that I wasn't screaming at my Kindle, "Posie, you dummy! What are you doing?" Miller's stalker-like tendencies, while a little intense, come from a place of care; after all, omegas are rare and vulnerable, and Posie's independence makes her a little too stubborn for her own good.

I really appreciated how the author addressed Posie's inability to smell Miller, especially since scent is so important to the alpha-omega dynamic. I want to keep the details under wraps, but how it was handled was well done. It seamlessly deepened their bond, making the story even more compelling and engaging.

I just loved Sweet Heat—I read it in literally four hours! It is a sweet, swoony read with a bit of steam and a whole lot of heart. Miller is the best—like the big brother protective type- also loving and obsessed. Posie's independent spirit makes her the perfect match for him. This one is a must-read if you're looking for a feel-good Omegaverse romance with a twist!

Her journey to reclaiming her autonomy, while navigating the complicated dynamics of being an omega without her scent, was handled with real heart. And once she starts standing up for herself? Chef’s kiss.

Miller? Oh, this man. He’s the golden retriever in wolf’s clothing. Possessive in the best way, sweetly over-the-top once he’s allowed to spoil her, and absolutely unhinged when it comes to her safety (in a “where can I order one?” kind of way). Also, hot athlete bonus points. So many bonus points.

I usually prefer why choose/ packs when I read omegaverses. There is just something about a pack coming together and being a family. But every now and then I will read one with MF couple. This book is one of those stories where there is only one male and one female. I have had the opportunity to read one other story from this world, but a different series. What I love about what this author has done is create a world where the continents are so different in the way omegas are treated. In this book, omegas have the freedom to go about life like any other person. It can still be a dangerous place, with jerk Alphas that feel entitled to whatever omega they want, but Omegas aren’t locked up without their freedom. I really enjoyed that about this book because it lead to serious Alpha jealousy, which just adds to to tension. This story was such a sweet story, and I loved how these two got together. The added element of the car accident and Posie’s loss of smell made for an interesting read beyond the love story.

These two characters were fantastic. Posie was trying her best to live her life while being in love with her brother’s best friend and being sheltered by her mom and dads, who don’t want her to move away from home. She’s curvy and self conscious about it, especially when creep Alphas that are trying to claim her keep telling her that she should diet. She has amazing friends who want the best for her and a group of overprotective Alphas in her brother’s pack. Miller is the sexy catcher that has known that Posie was meant to be his for years. He is slightly stalkery, tracking her to make sure that she is safe. But his need for Posie is so powerful and when these two finally get together, it is perfection.

This was such an enjoyable omegaverse. It was low drama and high on the sweetness and dominant alpha overprotectiveness. Even though it isn’t a why choose, there was still plenty of spice between these two. Miller is basically insatiable when it comes to his omega. I really enjoy the stories in this universe and seeing how different each continent really is. This book was a great omegaverse for those that prefer to go the non-why choose route.

Miller! Best friend to Owen, they have been since birth. They have lived through a horrible tragedy together. I loved how the tidbits of that night were sprinkled throughout the story. Still they are basically inseparable. Then you have Owen's sister, Posie who is much younger might I add, who was also involved. As a result Posie suffers from anosmia, so she lost her sense of smell. That might be inconvenient to a regular person but these characters are alpha and omega and rely a lot on their sense of smell. Posie is a sweet girl and suffers from a lot of PTSD. Her family is so supportive of her almost too protective, again that alpha gene coming out.

You have drama like in a regular story however this is amped up so much with them being alpha and omega. It makes it to be that much more extreme. The way the story plays out and focuses on the fact Posie can't scent match is heartbreaking. Watching that aspect had me addicted to how this would play out. Owen is such a beast and not so understanding. Then you have the whole Alex debacle, my anger was fuming from the get go with that guy. Total ick vibes. I love the intensity of the characters. Posie drove me a little crazy with how self conscious she was even with the constant praise from Miller.

I love the family dynamic and the multiple stories all wrapped into one kept me completely pleased. The writing and descriptions made me want to climb right into Posie's nest. They always sound so freaking heavenly. The friends Posie has had my bestie radar bursting with joy. This is seriously a girls dream. I love how well the friendship was made out in this story. I think/hope there will be a book for two other characters in this that I already feel the angst for.

I had forgotten how much I enjoy Ellie’s writing, since Sweet Cleat came out some time ago. I was excited to go back into this world of Sweet Sports Omegaverse. Ellie never fails to write dynamic characters, full of depth, raw emotion, and chemistry that jumps off the pages. Our MCs have history and I loved how Ellie wrote their story. Dealing with real feelings of inadequacy, readers should find it easy to relate with them and connect with them.

Posie doesn’t have her sense of smell, due to an accident some time ago. Currently she is going through life afraid she will never find her mate, since mates scent match. Her family is also very overprotective of her and doesn’t view her as a full grown woman. Like, some serious therapy needs to happen with her family in order to let her spread her wings and not continue to hold her back, even if it comes from a place of love. Thankfully she is surrounded by amazing girl friends who support and encourage her. This squad is truly something special.

Miller has been Posie’s brother’s best friend for some time. The accident that Posie lost her sense of smell is also the accident that took his parents from him. Something he has never fully forgiven Posie for. Or so she thinks. When he comes back into her life, he is startled by the feelings he has for her and the scent that he smells from her. Due to their history, he knows just telling her they are mates isn’t going to cut it. He has to show her he’s in this. There’s been many reasons why he avoided her in the past, but he can’t ignore the pull any longer.

Ellie’s story of Posie and Miller is filled with heat, banter, found family, and strong friendships. Being able to show Posie that she is perfect as is and capable of so much more is Miller’s priority and boy does he deliver! I loved this story so much and highly recommend it for fans of shifter and/or omegaverse romances.

First of all, he calls her “my Puff”…how freaking cute is that?? Has to be my favorite pet name I’ve come across so far, especially when she learns the meaning behind it.

Posie and Miller are such an adorable pairing.

Posie is the younger sister of Miller’s best friend/teammate of the Feral Feckers and her brother’s deemed her off-limits. And Posie has always had a thing for Miller, but he seems to hate her so she keeps her distance.

And ever since the accident that took his parents, Posie has lost her sense of smell along with all her self-worth. She focuses on her thriving jewelry business, graduating, and her best friends.

But lately, it seems like Miller is…stalking her? And he’s determined to make her realize that they’re scent-matches. In a world based on scent, how is a girl who lost her sense of smell supposed to tell fact from fiction?

Let me just say, I LOVED this story. Sweet Heat by Ellie Exton is now on my repeat-read list. I appreciate the plus-size/curvy MFC representation and how all-in Miller is. I enjoyed reading their family dynamics and it was interesting to see how this world of Omegaverse works. I also really look forward to the future books in this world! Andddd, I love RH however, it was nice to read a MF omegaverse for a change.

SWEET HEAT is part of The Oriania Chronicles and I read this in one sitting! I simply couldn't put it down and was completely engrossed in Posie and Miller's story.

Told from both perspectives, you get a rounded view of what the other thinks, feels, and is going through. I really felt for Posie and her wanting to move out. Although her parents were loving, she needed her own independence. Due to a tragic car accident, Posie has anosmia and so can't smell or taste most foods. In a world where scent-matches are a big deal, poor Miller has to figure out a way of telling Posie he's her mate when things haven't been right between them for a long time. I won't tell you how happy I was when they finally had the opportunity to speak to each other without anyone else butting in!

Their story is set in a world where omegas have different rights and expectations, depending on where they live. Posie is lucky in one regard as she is able to go to college and have her own friends. Of course, she still has to deal with Alpha-holes who think they own the world and everyone in it.

I loved this story so much and want more from the characters I was introduced to. Owen, for all I loathed him at one point, deserves an omega who will shake his world. Niko, as well. Who doesn't love a big softie? And Damien, who supported Miller and never said a word. I'm not sure about Crimson as he seems a little big-headed, but I will read his story to see if he has hidden depths.

Mostly low angst, sweet, and oh-so-hot, this was a brilliant read by a new-to-me author. I only have one question - Where can I find a stalker like Miller? Asking for a friend! Absolutely brilliant and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me.

Final Thoughts

If looking for a baseball romance then this isn't the book for you but the author states that right away. This is a story that makes you swoon when you find out that the MMC will wait forever for his scent match even if she might never figure it out. Loved how there was never a doubt that Posie and Miller belonged together and when everything clicked into place.
This story left you wanting more from the side characters. How will Owen and his pack find an omega? What will happen to Mari over seas? And will Emma reveal a designation? Ready to read some more!

Miller, the male alpha lead, has known that Posie, the female omega lead and Miller’s best friend’s little sister, is his scent-matched mate for seven years, since she transitioned due to the stress of the car accident that killed his parents and left her with anosmia (the inability to smell) but she was only a young teen at the time. Because of the anosmia, Miller doesn’t know how to introduce their scent match to Posie.

Posie has been attracted to Miller for years but thinks he leaves the room when she enters because he hates her for causing the death of his parents. Her parents have been overprotective since the accident but she’s decided it’s time for her to move out and start living. Miller is happy to see Posie breaking out of the parent-inflicted shell and he’s determined to help her in any way she needs, whether she knows or wants his help. When Posie becomes aware of the scent match, she happily accedes to it. Now they just need to convince her brother this is a good thing…

This story is dual POV, well written, and a sweet and steamy, brother’s best friend, omegaverse sports romance. I enjoyed Miller’s fidelity and devotion to Posie, and admired and appreciated his patience in waiting for her. I enjoyed Posie’s character development, and her determination to make her own choices and have them respected. I enjoyed the relationship development. I enjoyed the steamy intimate scenes. I enjoyed the supportive family and friends.

This was an adorable MF Omegaverse read. I loved Miller and Posie’s story. They have both suffered from a traumatic accident in the past. Posie lost her ability to smell, so she isn’t able to smell her scent match, Miller. This leads to Miller being extremely uncomfortable around Posie, leading Posie to believe he blames her for the accident. Little does she know, he is obsessed with her. To the point, he stalks her to ensure she is safe.

Once Posie realizes this was all a miscommunication, their relationship quickly develops, especially with her heat coming up. Miller goes above and beyond for Posie. He is willing to sacrifice anything to make her happy. I love these types of books where the male lead is obsessed. The fated mates scenario always allows for this.

I recommend checking out this series if you like Omegaverse and pretty low stakes. Ellie delivers delightful stories. It is available on KU. I hope you read it and love it, too. Let me know what you think!

This was such a fantastic Omegaverse romance! While it still followed a typical romance plot, I loved so many of the extra pieces that the author sprinkled through.
Posie is a very sheltered Omega who, after a tragic car accident, lost her sense of smell. Smell is such an important part of life for an Omega but Posie does her best to live as normally as possible. Miller is Posie’s brother’s best friend. In the same accident that took Posie’s smell, he lost his parents. Posie has always blamed herself for the accident, and believed that Miller did too.
They both carry a torch, secretly, for the other but, the world has thrown plenty of curveballs. Though Miller knows they are a scent-match (perfect pair), he does his best for Posie to come to her own conclusion before making any moves.
The story had so many highs and lows but, was the perfect balance for this story. Posie is such an interesting character with her drive to be independent but, forced sheltering from her parents. Her growth in to being able to stand up for herself was so well done. Miller is such a great example of an Alpha in an Omegaverse done right. He’s got all the swagger of an Alpha with a genuine and sweet heart. Though, he does have a little bit of the unhinged with hiding trackers (but, it works out! So is it really that bad? 🤷‍♀️😂). I can’t wait for the next installment of the series and am making sure to mark my calendar as soon as I’ve got the date!!

This book was super cute. I just could not get over Miller and Posie and their adorableness. From the beginning, it was clear that the two were down bad for each other ESPECIALLY Miller! My God that man... there was just no denying how much he loved and ached to protect her. Posie was a bit more frustrating just cause she was living in the world of denial and refused to believe she could ever catch his eye, but boy was she wrong. WAY wrong! I cannot begin to tell y'all how happy and giddy I became when they finally broke down their barriers and came together. I legit let out a big squeal and smile come out of me. I couldn't keep it in whatsoever.

Exton did an amazing job with this book. It has everything one could ask for in a cute omegaverse sports rom com type book. You have your amazing FMC and her ride or die best friends, an slightly too overprotective family who would do anything for the other, and an MMC who would literally die before any harm came to his boo. The book is set up to make you feel any and all types of emotions. Laughter, awe, frustration, and even some heartache as you discover more about the past that ties our wonderful main character's together. I definitely recommend this book and can't wait to see what comes in the next one.

This book is a new standalone in The Oriana Chronicles by Ellie Exton. This is such a sweet omegaverse book! I haven’t ever read just a MF usually I read RH style omega books but this one has changed the game for me I loved it!! This has everything you could want in a sweet book. There’s sports, found family, girl best friends, touch her and 💀, and scent matches. Posie is so sweet and I loved seeing her growth throughout the book. She went through something super traumatic while she was young and she is battling anxiety while trying to grow into adulthood. Miller is her brother’s best friend and he is also her scent match. She is unaware they are matches because of the accident it damaged her sense of smell. But Miller is fully aware he is supposed to be with Posie and he is so possessive and protective. Miller is a stereotypical grumpy alpha but his sweet side he saves for Posie is so swoon worthy. When they finally get together their chemistry is so hot!

I can’t wait to see what else comes out in this series! I will be picking up every book in this series from here on out!

LOVES:
- I always appreciate a quick run down of the facts at the start of an omegaverse so that I know the particulars going in, especially when omegaverse books can all have subtle differences. The dynamics of this world are interesting and I’m curious to see how different things come into play in the series.
- I like that Miller had a solid plan to eventually make things happen with Posie, though he could have played things a little less close to the chest haha 😜 but I understood his overprotectiveness and I liked that Posie took it in stride too.
- Posie’s loss of scent was a really interesting element and I thought it added something different to the story
- The content and placement of the flashbacks were extremely effective
- JFC, the amount of flack she got for being a bigger girl was bonkers. Thankfully, she had people in her corner and Miller made sure she knew she was perfect for him.
- Posie and her two friends had a really great friendship. I would definitely look forward to seeing them again later in the series!

I really enjoyed this one! Plenty of important plot points and back story for the characters were developed while keeping it pretty low angst for the reader.

Attitudes of the characters do not match the society built

One trend I'm finding in this series is that the author has built this specific continent as rather liberal towards omegas, while noting others as worse. Meanwhile the FMCs in both books so far have been ridiculously subjugated by their families and random social encounters are blatantly anti-omega. No one comes to the defense of the owners daughter? No one comes to the defense or calls for security at a public carnival? It doesn't track well for what we're expected to believe is a liberal society.

That said, Posie isn't a terrible FMC. She could be better if she wasn't such a doormat. Despite his mild obsession, Miller is a premier level MMC. Emma and Mari are solid book bestie material. Everyone else, especially her family, can take a long walk on a short pier because they all suck.

The storyline is decent, relationship building is MUCH better in this book than cleat heat, and the pacing is good. I will say the end of this book feels like it was written in a rush due to some minor but noticeable errors (dropped words, minor typos, and jumbled details). Overall not bad reading material but had more potential than it lived up to.
