I hate efffing cliffhangers

The story was good but the cliffhanger ending turned my head sideways. It's my fault for not checking. But the juicy part was on the horizon, so I guess I'll have to see.

Cute second chance love story.

Andre & Hennessy were together in high school & then Dre got into trouble forcing them apart. Yearsssss later they both end up in Bora Bora rekindling their love butttttttt somebody pops up threatening their reconnection.

Now Talena really? Got me reminiscing with these two, seeing their dreams realized, and loving how Dre is wining and dining Hennessey. Then that revelation, the mic dropped and to be continued. 😤 I'm at my desk at work, and almost threw my damn phone! Ughhh….. I digress. 🤬

Hennessey and Esh were as close as cousins could be. Both needing a break from work and life, they take a weekend trip to Bora Bora. Right? Prepared to live it up, party, and eat well, they are well on their way. At a yacht party they were attending, Hennesey has a blast from the past. She sees her first love, who she lost contact with after high school, when he had to sit down for a few years.

When Dre makes eye contact with Hennessey, he finds the peace he always felt with her still there. They quickly reconnect, and it was as if no time had passed at all. Dre is thrilled and makes it his mission to show Hennessey a good time and make her his again. Then the call of his name in the distance, brings it all to a screeching halt. 🤯 Who the hell is that? 👀 Please say it ain’t so Dre! You didn’t do this to Dior did you? 😡 I know you quick with em’ ma’am, but I need this conclusion pronto!

Andre and Hennessy reunite at a yacht party he throws when they both pick the same vacation destination. The sparks never left, and soon they fly.

This was a cute second chance first-part. The passion was nice, and I like the way the characters relate to each other. His wife appears and there's a cliffhanger at the end, so I was a bit frustrated with that, but it seems to be on trend. My mind usually drifts when a book doesn't wrap up, but I do like this author so I may swing back to the conclusion.

Talena Tillman always locks me in when I start anything she releases, and from page one, I fell in love with Dre😝 I love me a hood businessman, just knowing he’s tatted up under those suits🙌🏾. Hennessy is my girl (although Iesha is my favorite). I love her and the way she exudes peace, forgiveness, and understanding. However, she is about to be tested, and I need to know how she handles things.
This was a second-chance romance done right. I felt like I was on vacation right along with these characters. The sexy times on the yacht made this book, in all honesty 🤣. Talena will have me risking it all for these male characters she creates. I hate how this book ended because I lack patience, and cliffhangers are not for me, but of course, I dove right in, and by the end, I was clutching my pearls. I need answers to some important questions NOW!
This book was everything, and I hope part two doesn't take too long. Talena knows not to play with her readers too much😒.

When I say Talena books never disappoints, I mean that. I remember for a long time that I was in a reading slump & it was her books that got me out of it. Fast forward, over a year later & I still can’t get enough! Dre was everything! From the moment, he laid eyes on Hennessy he knew he had to show her what they both had missed out on after so long. And he did not disappoint until a bump in the road pops up & leaves you stunned ! Run don’t walk to this short but sweet read now! You will not be disappointed!

What Happens In Bora Bora 😔

Henny's past has brought emotions and feelings she thought her heart had buried. A whirlwind reconnection turns sour in jus a matter of days. My girl is really goin thru it!! Im so mad at Dre 😭 the cliffhanger was kinda expected due to Dre's language, but still goodt!! Headed to the finale now for the rest of the drama 🧡🤞🏽

This was a quick read that had me rooting for the MCs to get together in the beginning. Second chance romance? Self-made man? Never stopped loving the FMC? All signs of a perfect second chance situation. Especially when you add in that the MMC is a billionaire. We love to see it!

...until the end and we get hit with a bomb in the midst of our perfect rekindled romance! I'm definitely going into book two because I have to know how this plays out!

This was such a cute little novella & it was good but boy I’d be mad as hell if part two wasn’t already out because the cliffhanger was insane. I was rooting for Andre up until now because it was really no reason for him to hide the fact that he was married from Hennessy. Like he could’ve just told her they were separated & things were rocky. Yunno … the truth. Mans really thought laying pipe for a weekend would make her less mad about it.

You meet back up with your first love after a decade & you decided lying was the best bet after going on & on about not losing her. BOOOOOOOO TOMATOES!

I loved Iesha & Hennessey friendship. There’s the definition of girlhood & Esh was so funny. Money was so smooth on her that I forgot he had a whole girlfriend & a baby back home. Not to mention all that fraternizing he was doing on the yacht.

Wow - what an ending. This short story ends with a cliffhanger but so worth it. The story is beautifully written, flows and has wonderful characters.

Andre and Hennessy take you on a beautiful love story that seems to be growing until the end of the story and all heck breaks loose when a secret is revealed, that will blow your mind.

Can't wait for book 2.
