i love christina's YT channel and the subject matter this touches on, but i can't help but feel like this journal doesn't have much substance to it at only 60 pages! i'm still not sure what minimalist-ish is beyond vague wishy-washy descriptions :-( this journal is cute but if you search on etsy for templates they'll closely resemble the ones included here.

The Minimalist-ish journal is intended for people who would like to be more intentional with their belongings but don’t want to commit to full minimalism. Christina shares her experience of going from a full-blown shopaholic into minimalism, and now into a more rational minimalist-ish approach which allows to have the wardrobe she loves.
I personally liked the prompts and suggestions in the journal, and overall they go well with Christina’s YouTube channel which I highly recommend. However I also think that my familiarity with Christina’s approach made it easier for me to use the journal, and for someone who is not familiar with her approach, some crucial information was maybe shortened a bit too much. Example: in her YouTube, Christina has a few videos about tactics to not overspend during Black Friday sales; in the journal, there’s only a “pro tip: it’s not a good deal if you weren’t going to buy the thing in the first place” (which is great advice still, just wish there was space to expand on this more). This is what took away 1 star from my rating.
I truly think Christina’s approach to spending less, shopping your closet and curating the wardrobe you love deserves a full book. This journal is a great intro into the main concepts and a good way to keep yourself accountable. I’d recommend it to someone already familiar with no-buy/low-buy and looking for ways to make it more fun and move away from the scarcity mindset.
