Ok. I already knew going into this what is really was about. And they actually went there. Oh, my. As always, the writing is fantastic. It's Alexa Riley but the Taboo version as you can see or didn't already know. I do wish that it was actually a non-blood relationship but again, I was pre warned. Holy moly.

They wanted only one another. Problem being? They were 100% brother and sister.

Ok, so aside from the related thing, we're gonna skip that because again, if you knew going in then...The writing is all Alexa and I loved it. I wish we got a longer read because it was so needed. They have a sweet and yet steamy connection. There are also some other eye raising surprises within these pages which are more of the same-what in the world?!- that I didn't see coming because hello. A well written story that I wished were longer. And yes, with no actual blood relations. Because I absolutely do adore my Alexa Riley.

I really really wish these novellas were longer but sadly it seems like Alexa Riley are hell-bent on publishing the most boring stories ever while they save all their good ideas for these short stories 🙄

Review of The Brother’s Little

The Brother’s Little by Riley earns 4 stars, making it the highest rating I’ve given to one of her works so far. Despite her usual brevity, this story stood out to me, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I read this in December, and unlike many of her other books, this one stayed with me. While I don’t have highlighted passages to reference, I can vividly recall the plot and how it made me feel, which is rare with her short stories. The taboo theme between siblings is, as always, daring and provocative, but Riley handled it in a way that kept me intrigued.

That said, I still think the story would benefit from more content. It feels too rushed, and adding more depth could elevate it even further. Regardless, it’s a compelling short story that I would recommend. If you’re up for a quick and controversial read, this one’s worth your time.
