Love this book! Very good for a debut. I am continually impressed that she published this at 19. I did feel like Diana could have used a bit more motivation to go on her journey, as it felt a bit like she decided to risk her life on a whim of "oh, I'd like to go see my childhood friend again. Could have done this any time is the past 4 years, but now just seems right." However, I do understand that the plot needed to get rolling, and once it did it was fast-paced and engaging. To be honest, I did find the last battle a tad bit confusing, as I wasn't quite sure what side the general populace was on. I did love the subversion of expectations with Cameron/Peter/Diana love triangle thing. My favorite character is Kiara. Absolute badass. Oh, also, it would be really nice to possibly have a map in the next book, because I would like to see where the Plaza is in relationship to the sectors. Overall, it was great! Yay Ava!
