Read till chapter 89 (season 2).

Absolutely obsessed with this webtoon. It features found family (with some precious children), a revenge and mystery plot and a slow burn marriage of convenience!!
The art is gorgeous, and I've found some new comfort characters.

Pereshati is the FMC, and she's perfect. She's kind and hardworking (even if she's nice, she knows her worth and won't stand for disrespect; something I appreciate in a FMC, lol).

Therdeo is her husband, and her total opposite (love a good grumpy/sunshine). Even though their relationship begins rocky (and you don't even know how much), he goes from a cold, distant character to the cutest and most caring husband. Their relationship is a real slow burn, with some misunderstandings between them. However, you will squeal and ship them so much that you won't mind.

I can't finish this review without mentioning Celphi, their adoptive son. I don't mind children in romance stories, but I don't usually love them. Well, he's the exception. I have never rooted for a child's joy as hard before, and I'm super happy with his character growth. Also, the relationship between Celphi and Pereshati is one of the highlights of this story.

Season 2 hasn't finished; it seems it will become tense and angsty, so I will be waiting impatiently for the drama∼.

read volume 4: chapter 39-51

pereshati believed that islette passed away and returned to the past based on what the young girl told her. with this, pereshati told the lapileon family the truth about her: that she died and returned to the past as well, that she died from the lapileon family blood in the past.

now, they found out that those who died and came back because of that blood would no longer suffer its effects. i loved that once the lapileon family found out that this was just a one-year contract marriage, everyone’s horrified. the kids are gonna take it so hard when she leaves. (actually, i think everyone’s gonna take it hard if she leaves.) i’m glad therdeo apologised to pereshati for what he did to her when they first met.

pereshati please get justice for poor celphi!!!!! YESSSS, therdeo is back and he heard everything!!!!!!

YES MAMA, GO GET THEM BULLIES! que horror, pobrecito Celphi que en vez de tomarlo como lo que es, algo malo y vil que hacen los demás, el solo estaba preocupado por no decepcionar a su padre y poder ser un buen heredero.

Amamos a Perry enseñándole a la nobleza que con ella y su familia no pueden meterse o saca los colmillos.

Love how the whole family loves Perry. They cared more about her leaving after a year than her time traveling. Also, poor Celphi. He’s being bullied at school and trying not to disappoint his uncle/dad about naming him heir.
