When Annie proposes a relationship stunt to her ex-boyfriend’s sexy older brother, they quickly discover faking it is the last thing they want to do.

ARC review
I really liked this one.
I loved their relationship. They were honest with each other, mature in their decisions, thought about the other when making choices, just a really very good relationship in general.
Annie was so hard working and a sweetheart, she deserved the chance to show what she could do.
Zayn was fantastic. The way he adored her, I loved how he was so into her. He waa grumpy but around her, he was completely diferent. She changed him for the better and everyone could see it

You know that, don’t you?” I grip her face tight, as if I’m afraid if I let her go, she will fade away.
Happy Release Day Courtney!! I’m so sad January Studios is coming to an end!! I have loved these characters so much and Zayn and Annie have such a special place in my heart!! These two broken people healed each other and their love was so adorable!! I wanted to yell and scream at them towards the end but it all turned out okay in the end!! I cannot say enough good things about this series!! Can’t wait to see what you do next!!
Placing my hand in Zayn’s feels too right. I shouldn’t feel butterflies in my stomach, or weak in the knees, or hot in my cheeks. It’s not supposed to be like this. I can’t like him, not after everything.

ARC review!
I loved the story of Annie and Zayn. She is working for an PR firm and has to make Zayn his reputation better. Then my favourite trope of fake dating is entering the chat. I really love a good fake dating story and that was this book! He falls first and falls hard, but is a little bit out of the dating experience. But you can see how much he is trying for her. And then also the needs a place to stay and Zayn is offering her, his spare bedroom. Any guesses? Just go read and enjoy it!

Annie works at Starlet Pr, where she ends up having as her client the older brother of her ex-boyfriend, Dan. On top of this, she ends up having to stage a fake relationship with him, in order to clean his image in the press and to score his next big role.
She was unsure how she would be able to work with him, considering they shared an almost kiss in the past. This happened while she was still with Dan. But eventually, he broke her heart by cheating on her and made her uncertain about begining another relationship.
Zayn Barnes is a pretty known actor, but which had a really bad period after his girlfriend broke up with him. She didn't want to make the next step with him and decided to travel the world. This rejection broke Zayn's heart. But now that he rekindled things with Annie, a spark appeared again in his heart and it's hard to tame that pulling towards her.
I liked the fake relationship which was brought up by Annie. It was the perfect thing to make them grow closer, especially because they ended up sharing Zayn's home. The close proximity made them realize that it's impossible to hide from their feelings and they gave in eventually, even though everything had an expiration date.
I loved the banter between them and how they clicked together so well. Zayn was unconsciously crazy about her, because he just couldn't help to touch her everytime, even just by giving her a small kiss on the head or forehead. I found those parts the sweetest.
This book had an unique thing by having Annie dating with both brothers, at different times. It was a kind of wired situation, especially when she went to see his entire family. That encounter was so interesting to follow🤭.
If you like a workplace romance, with some good banter, you should give this book a chance.

I was SUPER excited to sink into this enchanting romance by Courtney Corlew. Right from the start, I found myself completely absorbed in the story. Annie, the relatable protagonist with her struggles of people-pleasing and self-doubt, resonated with me on a personal level (mostly the people-pleasing part 🙈🫶🏼). Her journey of self-discovery and love was truly heartwarming and inspiring.
Zayn, the brooding and alluring love interest, added a layer of mystery and intrigue that kept me hooked. The undeniable chemistry between him and Annie, alongside their slow-burn romance, was both sweet and passionately portrayed. Corlew's vibrant writing style and compelling plot had me gripped – I couldn't tear myself away from the book.

A really cute addition to the January Studios world. I found myself really enjoying this one (don't tell Courtney, but maybe even more than book one)
I loved the plot. Actor needs to sharpen his image so his team hires new PR. It just so happens to be his brother's ex girlfriend. But the real kicker? Photos get leaked of them looking cozy and what better way to enhance Zayn's image then a little bit of fake dating??
Annie is adorable. I really enjoyed her character and personality. She's a woman working hard to make it in LA. She loves her job and just wants to prove she is more than capable of doing a good job. I love how much good she sees in people and the lengths she will go to to help.
Zayn is a little cocky bastard but I was loving it. He's heartbroken and wants nothing to do with people but he still wants to work for his dream job. He knows he needs to shape up or he'll be shipped out. I just really loved the drive he finds in himself after Annie reawakens it from him. He will do anything for her and it was really cute.
I enjoyed the pacing of this book and all the storylines that were intertwined. We get some good spice and a really cute romance that starts from the most interesting of tropes. There's just something about the ex boyfriend's brother that meets the forbidden aspect for me that really brought this home. I do wish we had even more drama with said brother.
Overall, this was really cute. I really love the overall vibes from Courtney's books. It always feels so wholesome and fun but then we get that extra little umph with the spice!

A Little Bit Tempting was a great read featuring some great tropes; ex boyfriend’s brother, fake dating work place romance. Zayn’s career is at crossroads due to a bad break up and needs help to reinvent his image and Annie his brother’s ex girlfriend is assigned the job to help. Their connection was instant and at times you truly felt for them with the decisions they had to make. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and would highly recommend this book. This was an excellent read. I received a complementary copy from the author.

This was my 1st book by Courtney and I wasn't disappointed. This is the 3rd book in a series but can definitely be read as a stand alone without feeling like you are missing too much.
Fake dating is probably my #1 favorite trope and Annie and Zayn are so good together. I'm used to my fake dating stories to be a tad lighter but in this book Annie and Zayn are definitely healing. Together.

I sadly somehow missed that this is the third story in the January Studios series so there were some spoilers. That's on me though and I will be reading the novella as soon as I can.
From the moment I saw the blurb for the first book I knew I was going to love this series and Book 3 did not disappoint at all.
This is everything you'd want in a cozy romance. Annie and Zayne are amazing characters and their story was so fun to read.
Courney Corlew has become an instantr read author for me and I can't wait to see what else she has coming in the future.

The chemistry between Annie and Zayn is palpable. I loved the healing aspect of the story--they both heal hurt that the other experienced in their past and help each other to grow in the way they think about themselves and the world. Parts of the author's writing style weren't my cup of tea. There are places where I feel like the writing could be tighter and the story would be even better. But overall, it was an enjoyable read that I didn't want to put down!

I love finding new authors through the bookish community. I have read so many new authors over the years, ones I know I never would have found without the help of this wonderful community. Courtney Corlew is one of those authors! I found myself laughing out loud at the witty banter between our MCs. I am definitely adding her to my TBR and can’t’ wait to catch up on her other books.
Annie finds herself in quite the predicament at work. Scarlet PR has just landed a new client, who happens to be the brother of her ex. To top that off, her company wants her to help clean up his image by fake dating him. While dating her brother, they shared an almost moment, but then his brother cheated on her, causing her to question relationships. Now she has to fake one with her ex’s brother!
Zayn has gone through a rough spot in his career. His girlfriend broke up with him and he had thought they were going to be taking the next step in their relationship. He hasn’t felt anything towards anyone since; until he sees Annie again. When she extends the idea of a fake relationship, he is more than happy to agree.
As these two are pushed into forced proximity, sparks erupt, and it is obvious these two have more going on under the surface. When they couldn’t say no any longer, the agreed to end things amicably when Zayn’s image was cleaner. But as their relationship becomes more and they find comfort in each other, will the relationship be able to end so easily?
Courtney knows how to write banter that makes you laugh and squeal. I loved the tension between Annie and Zayn throughout the book. It simmered perfectly and then erupted even more so. Their interactions were realistic, their chemistry evident, and their desire for each other undeniable. It was easy to love these two through Courtney’s writing.

Fake Dating is my automatic trope so I’m absolutely going to read it. What Courtney did with this book is phenomenal. It was brilliant. I love anything about PR, and I love a get your act together trope. Something about helping someone to become a better version of themselves just always makes me happy and when done in books, it’s chef’s kiss.
This book is so fun, so enjoyable. I loved reading it. I had a great time with the characters and the world. Annie is the type of character that I love seeing. She’s smart, determined, dedicated and knows what she needs to do to get things done. While I hate what she went through with Dan, I think it makes her character stronger to know that she gave things her all. When she proposes that they fake date, I screamed! Because I know how things would play out and I was EXCITED TO SEE IT THROUGH. I hate how her job made her work so hard to then not care about her. I felt that so much but Annie never gave up. The entire book, I was rooting for her.
Zayn is the type of grumpy I love to read about. One who use to be great but then changed. I just loved seeing how Annie impacted him. This character development was incredible. It had so much excitement. I loved when they ran after each other at the beach, and when he got jealous at the gala and don’t get me started when they get home after one of the ice cream dates hehehe. I giggled so much. He’s was just super hot in my eyes and I loved his grumpy side but I loved the way he ended up falling for Annie.
I loved the writing, I loved the dual POV. I also love the Plot. It was Overall, Courtney did an amazing job with this book. I can’t wait to read more by Courtney. I am definitely going to be reading A little bit Extra and A little bit Inspired. Thank you Courtney for letting read this book.

Annie is such a hardworking people pleaser who works for Starlet Pr. Her ex-boyfriend Dan belittled her, and she is now filled with self-doubt causing her to be obsessed and married to her job. Zayn is an actor who went through a big change with his twelve-year relationship that sent him in a downhill spiral. This heartbreak made him a big grump with a mysterious vibe not letting anyone get close to him. Annie is given the opportunity to work with her first client which just so happens to be her ex-boyfriend Dan’s older brother Zayn. Annie and Zayn reawaken that spark they felt from each other years ago and now they are struggling to keep it at bay. Photos get leaked of them dancing a bit too friendly at an event and now they are forced to stage a fake relationship. They use the relationship to clean up Zayn’s image so he can land this big role that he has had his eye on, this causes them to grow closer. Zayn tried to fight his feelings for Annie so hard but being together all the time made him realize he could not stay away from her and found himself showing her affection without even thinking about it. Annie helps Zayn, everyone could see the change in him. When their expiration date was finally up, both parties had to make a choice.

❤️ 4/5 – they’re drawn so much to each other, which makes it so that their love borders on obsession
🌶 2/5 – lots of tension though! Girl just needs to breathe and he’s on her.
A cozy read. Perfect to dig yourself out of a reading slump and keep you in bed all day and all night.
She has an obsession with blueberry muffins, he has an obsession with her. Gahh, and it’s so cute.
I really enjoyed this read. I usually read dark romance or fantasy, which can be super draining. This book kind of charged me up. It gave me energy, rather than take it away from me and leaving me broken in bed, crying over an empty bowl of ice cream because of my FMC’s trauma.
I love how there’s of course drama and conflict but it’s never a huge conflict or fight between the MCs. Their relationship and chemistry is never the issue but the situations around them. It’s one of the reasons why I found this book so relaxing. You aren’t worried for your characters relationship only worried about their careers.
I will say, this book is a bit “woke” and even though I don’t mind, it would have been nice having some sort of warning. I guess it’s a bit taboo but not everybody is comfortable with non-binary characters (neither of the MCs), so this is just a heads up.

🌶 2/5 – lots of tension though! Girl just needs to breathe and he’s on her.
A cozy read. Perfect to dig yourself out of a reading slump and keep you in bed all day and all night.
She has an obsession with blueberry muffins, he has an obsession with her. Gahh, and it’s so cute.
I really enjoyed this read. I usually read dark romance or fantasy, which can be super draining. This book kind of charged me up. It gave me energy, rather than take it away from me and leaving me broken in bed, crying over an empty bowl of ice cream because of my FMC’s trauma.
I love how there’s of course drama and conflict but it’s never a huge conflict or fight between the MCs. Their relationship and chemistry is never the issue but the situations around them. It’s one of the reasons why I found this book so relaxing. You aren’t worried for your characters relationship only worried about their careers.
I will say, this book is a bit “woke” and even though I don’t mind, it would have been nice having some sort of warning. I guess it’s a bit taboo but not everybody is comfortable with non-binary characters (neither of the MCs), so this is just a heads up.

Was I looking to read a grumpy/sunshine, actor/publicist, my exes brother romance? Wasn't on my bingo card for the first week of October and yet... here we are. When the author put out the call for ARC readers on Threads I said ... you know what, I really need to see where this goes.

I am absolutely in love with Zayn and Annie's story. They melted my heart and I loved watching them fall in love.
No one does secret relationships/fake dating like Courtney!!! The entire January Studios trilogy is so superb, but there is just something a little extra spicy about A Little Bit Tempting!!
Annie is a PR intern trying to land her dream role at the firm, and Zayn is a B-list celebrity who is a PR NIGHTMARE... and also happens to be Annie's ex-boyfriend's older brother (squeal)!
Annie gets assigned to Zayn to help him fix his image so he can land his dream role and be bumped up to an A-list celebrity, however Annie quickly realizes that she has to be a little more... involved... in order to boost his image. She decides that they need to fake a relationship during the course of their contract... He would then get his dream role, and she would land her dream career. What they don't expect is to fall for each other along the way.
Zayn switches from his grumpy outer shell to a real cinnamon roll. Annie finds herself entangled with her ex's brother far quicker than she ever intended.
This was also the first book that I've read that included a character with they/them pronouns, and that was neat to see!

I gotta say I did not have an ex-boyfriend’s brother trope as a 5 star read on my bingo card. If you would have asked me I would have said it would be so weird and awkward, but Courtney really did it justice. I think it helped that there was just one scene with the ex/brother and of course he sucked so he made it weird but it was written well.
Annie has wanted a career in PR since she was a young girl looking through gossip sites, and after her 3 year internship she finally gets her shot to prove her worth- only to find out her client is none other than B list actor Zayn Barnes, her ex-boyfriend’s brother who she’s pretty sure hates her for some reason.
Turns out he has just been burned bad in the past and it made him into the reclusive grump that he is, and it’s her job to turn his image around. When she suggests they fake date to help his image, everyone is on board except Zayn, because really he’s playing with fire here because he can’t keep his eyes off of Annie.
I seriously ate this one up. I loved how much of a spitfire Annie was and how Zayn just made her feel like she could be who she really is and not have to dim herself or wear a mask around him. She’s sassy, but kind, and helps pull Zayn out of his darkness.
Really enjoyed this book!

💭Thoughts:
In her latest release, Courtney Corley beautifully employs the fake dating trope, which is one of my absolute favourite tropes! I love for the fuck it moment when the characters finally abandon their reservations and give into their desires, and Zayn and Annie’s journey did just that. The chemistry between them was beautifully written, making their connection all the more satisfying with the perfect level of spice woven into the story line. I appreciated how Annie was hired to improve Zayn’s image, ultimately guiding him to his roots. This was my first read by Corlew, and I was hooked right from the beginning; I finished the book in two days and am eagerly looking forward to diving into more of her books!

SUCH a fun & cute romance. I was out of sorts and not entirely in the mood for a romcom when I picked this one up, but let me tell you it PUT me in the mood for one. By the end of the first chapter I was hooked, and I ended up reading it in one afternoon.
The main character, Annie, is refreshingly mature and insightful. I related to her struggles with being a chronic people-pleaser, always willing to put on a smile and help others, even when she knew deep down that she was selling herself short.
The love interest, Zayn, has a strong back story that I felt carried his character flaws and made you root for his redemption arc...provided it came in the form of a certain Annie Mitchell, of course.
The scenes were adorable, there was plenty of spice to keep me satisfied, and I enjoyed the inner dialogue that provided a nice balance to the banter between the characters.
This was the first book I read by Courtney Corlewe, and I'm heading straight over to pick up "A Little Bit Extra" and "A Little Bit Inspired."

The only reason I am rating this book a 3 star is because I really didn't like the Male Character.
I adore Annie. I love her personality and how she knows what she wants in life and goals.
But for Zayn in the beginning I just did not like his personality and him being a massive douche. I also didn't like his POV . I think it's just the way he talked and presented himself. I don't know.
I really did thought I was gonna love this book , the book cover is so sweet and cute and it's just girly to me. But I just did not like Zayn.
✨ I am sad since this is a 3 star book that I have reviewed in a hot minute. I think the last book that I reviewed has a 3 star was the Sophia lark two book series.

When they get photographed together she decides - they should fake date and work on his image. And she needs a new place to live so they move in together. They both chip away at each other's doubts and insecurity, but can this go beyond the contract? Is this more than fake dating?

This was my first time reading any of Courtney Corlew's books and can I say this did not disappoint. What a very fun read! I loved their communication and how there were still some elements of snarkiness and playfulness within their conversations The story dragged just a bit for me, but when the romance was on the book was good. It does fall under a lot of tropes so if that's your style then this book fulfills that void. I really enjoyed seeing the growth in the relationship and how they both complement each other.
I especially loved the ending; it was so sweet and romantic!
I just wish this book had a little bit more conflict. The stakes of the book were there but there was no conflict to watch them work through. All in all, this was a great read, and I am so thankful to have been a part of the ARC team!

Courtney you did AMAZING! Annie and Zayn's story is so heartfelt. I love each of the books in the January studio series but I think this one might be my favorite.
Annie, the sunshine character who works her butt off for her dreams and deserves every bit of her happy ending. She has a jerk for a boss and her jerk ex causes her to doubt herself but then enters Zayn ❤️
Zayn, he is the grumpiest actor this last year has some image improving to do. He really is an amazing person who just had a major bump . Then he gets Annie for his publicist. 😁
They bring out the best in each other in the public and in private. It was such a joy to watch them fall and fall hard. How they create new happy memories in places that hold bad ones for either was so good! Again a really good heartfelt story! 😍🥰❤️ Too many good thinks to pick favorites for me!

Have not read the others in this standalone but intertwining series, so I can say confidently it did not confuse me one bit. I loved this book. A grumpy ex-brother actor and a sunshine ex: fake dating? What could possibly go wrong!
The book for 48 hours had me HOOKED IN. I couldn’t put it down. The author truly has a way of intertwining dual POV. I especially loved seeing their views during the same scene (but different chapters).
Of course there’s a HEA. And I loved every minute.
Rated 4/5 for me because I felt it could have had his ex (if ykyk) to add some drama? I know they’re mentioned but would’ve been better imo. I wish there was more conflict and we saw it more on the brother’s end as well.
Overall great read and thank you so much for trusting me to read this early. 🫶🏻

Annie and Zayn find themselves back in each other’s lives in a way they never expected. She was his brother’s ex and now if trying to find her way in the world as a publicist. When she meets with her boss to sign an NDA for her next client, she never expects it would be Zayn. He’s trying to find his way into a leading role but first he has to clean up his image. With Annie by his side, Zayn embarks on a journey he never expected.
I loved watching these two learn to work together and see how their relationship flourished as time went on. Annie’s past relationships have scarred her but Zayn swoops in to be what she needs and more.
Thank you Courtney for bringing me along for this journey. I’ve loved reading all three of your January studio’s books!
