Wow what a book! This is the second book in a new series. Addison Moore has done it again. This book captured my interest immediately. Fallon Baxter, the main character, is an FBI agent. She works with Federal Agent jack (Jackson) Stone and Special Agent Nikki. The storyline keeps you captured... Jack has his 20th High School reunion coming up soon at Aspen Heights High School. Coincidentally, there's a murder and then an abduction in Aspen Heights. Both of the victims are women who graduated with Jack. Can this be tied to the upcoming reunion or is it something totally random? If they are tied together, who would do such a thing? And, if not, why these two women? The storyline is fascinating and intriguing and kept me guessing throughout the book. Don't hesitate to read this book! I think this is at the top of my list for "Favorite New Series" Enjoy!
Fallon, Jack and Nikki are all tasked with finding out who murdered someone that was a classmate of Jack's. It is his 20th high school reunion and it seems someone is killing some of his classmates before the festivities begin. When they start searching, they find the victims did have a few things in common. Fallon, Jack and Nikki have to go through a lot of data to try and figure out what is motivating someone to do this. They do have a few suspects, but they hope to find out who it is before anyone else winds up dead. You will have to read the book to find out what happens. It was entertaining and I did like how the 3 of them worked together. Buddy is a joy and I hope to see him in all of the books in this series.
FBI Agent Fallon Baxter is back in book two of the series and although it is a standalone I recommend you read book one to understand the characters fully. If you love murder mysteries then you will love Addison Moore's writing. From the unexpected twists and suspense to the well developed characters and page turning storyline this is a great addition to the series. I recommend this book, this series, and this author to everyone who loves to read fast paced crime thrillers. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Note: This book is the same as "The Killer Reunion, Fallon Baxter FBI series book 2". It must of been renamed after the ARC was released.
An exciting thriller as the FBI race against time to find a kidnapped woman and a murderer. The main characters are very likeable and portrayed well. Part of a series but can read as a standalone. Looking forward to the next in the series.
