Author of OKAMBI, PAGES OF MY HEART, DR BRAVER, ONE FOR THE LORD, DUTY OF CANDOUR, DIVINE HOPE

Like most children where I grew up, I was expected to take the path of becoming a farmer. Instead of tilling and planting, I decided I would rather look after people by becoming a medical doctor. But, that's a different story, which will come in my upcoming Biography, ANGELS ON MY PATH, a book that tells the story of a true survival. Much of my life is an example of triumphs against all odds, providing a rich source of ideas and materials for my writings.

Writing has been a passion of mine, for as long as I can remember, so much so that I almost consider it my second profession! It is often an escape, where I frequent places of both fantasy and real-life experiences.

Much of my writing is informed by the things I have seen in the various stages of my career as well as the wonderful and unique highlights of growing up in such a beautiful and unforgettable place as Africa. Also, being part of a large family gives me very many reference points and is an experience I wouldn't change for the world!

Over the years, I have read so many books of various genres. Writing is about life. It is about how we relate to one another and our environment. Every writer has his or her style. But, it’s all about life - our life. My own style combines experiences as a young boy growing up in Africa and an adult growing old in Europe. I try to express these in fiction of various genres and poetry.

My stories tell of adventures and escapades, combining humour, determination and the strength of the human spirit. I aim to keep writing and publishing stories, exploring the complexity of the human character for your enjoyment.

Despite my busy life as a medical doctor and writer, I spend hearty time with my family. I love reading, writing, and discussing ethical issues. We live in a country side with a great opportunity for walkng and running great distances. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and we frequently organise barbecues with great opportunities to meet our circle of friends and family. I like fun and laughter. My philosophy is to make people happy. I used to play football as a youth and still love football. I am an enthusiastic supporter of Liverpool FC. I love listening to Country music. My favorite artists are Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers and Don Williams. I love to read African novels. My favorite Authors are Chinua Achebe and Wole Soyinka. But I also love a good medical story such as Gifted Hands by Ben Carson and Coma by Robin Cook.
