This is my first outing with Mia Broomhall. She is originally from rural Somerset. I am originally from Somerset also, so that was my point of connection.
My favorite poem from this collection is, "Still." The first two lines are:
"So still the crickets come, brown bobbins,
piston, little cams on a grass-shaft."
I also loved: Dutch Elm, Lemon, Ajar, and Backalong.
