BE WARNED THIS IS A CLIFFHANGER AND THE FIRST OF THREE BOOKS ON THE SAME COUPLE. This is also a new author. I received this book as an ARC reader. This book is also long. It is very hard to get into the story. Also the author takes most of the book to even have the couple meet. The couple does not get together in this book. I had difficulty continuing the book. It takes most of the book to even get why she needs a bodyguard. I'm also unsure if I want to read the second one because the couple may not get together and it will be a cliffhanger also. I am intrigued about the other team members however and may just wait till their books come out. I did not connect with the couple in this book.

Warning it's a three part book.
What a ride this book is. I'm not even sure I would call it a romance for the first 3/4 of the book. It's a mystery suspense and a detective read with a side order of romance. Yes the real romance part takes place in the last quarter of the book. I read this book fast and really thought this is not getting here fast. But all of the sudden it's the end and I can't wait for book two. I don't feel like I can give an in-depth review until I read the whole thing so I'm saying my review will be continued.
Author is a great story teller.

A new author to me, and though I'm not a fan cliffhanger endings, it was enough of an intriguing story to want to read the next. I'll be honest, not the best written, fairly slow, and the insta love is a bit weird if I'm honest....but want to know more, but probably about secondary characters than Kassie & Chase at this point!

I liked the book, but could not get over how they kept her from her child. No matter what if someone was between me and my child I wouldn’t end up falling for them. I was kind of furious with the characters. The ex seal team for separating them, the dr for not reuniting them and Kassie for falling for the guy keeping her from her kid.

The book starts off with Kassie escaping from corrupt FBI agents who are supposed to be keeping her safe. She lives on the run for 2 years before she is discovered. Fortunately, she has spent the last few months with people who are trying to help figure out her situation to keep her safe. When someone from her past comes unexpectedly, everything turns.
I enjoyed getting to know Kassie and Chase. The secrets that are held are bothersome but also understandable in a weird way. Kassie is fearing for her and her daughters safety and doesn't realize that Chase and his team are trying to save him.
This book ends in a cliffhanger, so be prepared to read the next also. I look forward to the second book to see how things resolve.

This is the first time reading this author. I won this book in a contest. I love romantic suspense books and this one is a good one. Just a couple of problems. First it drives me crazy when the characters dialogue runs together. Also there were several errors. Steamy at the end. Forced proximity.

Chase takes Kassie to his home in Serenity Mountain and Kassie must decide whether to trust Chase and his team or not.

Great book from a new to me author, Cassie Colton.
This was about Kassie who was on the run after her twin sister was murdered, and she had to look after her niece Emma. Dr Chase and his team were called in by her friend, after things went wrong.
I really liked the slow development of the relationship and the level of trust. Kassie had a lot of issues and many years of running to get over the mistrust she had developed. But the rapport she had with Chase went a long way to dissolving that mistrust but definitely not all the way.
Well written, emotional and gripping, it really was a great book and I can't wait for the next in the series. Such a fantastic read!!

The debut novel for the author. This book is part of a series and does end on a cliffhanger.
This book had me captured from the moment I started it. A very good amount of action and unique storyline to keep the reader engaged. The cast of characters is diverse and come from a variety of backgrounds. The author transported the reader into the mountains and created a picturesque environment for the characters to develop.
The reason I rated the book 4 instead of 5 stars was due to the instant love trope which truly came too suddenly but overall an entertaining fun read.

Wonderful, fast paced and interesting with twists and turns s. Kassie doesn’t trust easily and her only goal is keeping her daughter Emma safe. Chase isn’t one to take no for an answer when he is trying to protect someone .
I read this book from cover to cover in one sitting! It’s an emotional rollercoaster that makes you root for the characters and a happy ending. I loved how even though she may be vulnerable, Kassie is a strong woman who can fight for herself and her daughter. And Chase, well he is the perfect book boyfriend. He’s strong and determined yet caring and kind! I cannot wait to read the sequel.

This is Cassie Colton’s debut book, but you would never know it. This book is ticking all the feels for me in what I consider to be romantic suspense and mystery. It doesn’t hurt that the first book in the series takes place in and around the Seattle area and the mountains where I live. The story line sucked me in from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

A highly recommended read by a new author. “Finding Kassie” is a captivating story of love and sacrifice. How much would you give up for your family? You are emotionally engaged from the very beginning and transported to a world of conflict, betrayal, danger and romance. It will leave you wanting more…literally! Cannot wait for the second book in this trilogy!!

Very frustrating
Whoever Edited book, did a poor job. They couldn't keep the spellings of names consistent. ie: Derrick vs Derek or the interchangeable Kassie vs Kaitlin. I finished the book because I had to know how it ends, but it's a continuation to book 2. I will not read book 2 because book 1 was so bad.

Cassie Colton is new to me; I liked her story line and the chemistry between the characters. I enjoy a good romance suspense, and this was a good one. My only complaint is that I'm not a fan of cliff hangers, but as it's a good read I will continue to read this series. I hope book 2 is as good!.

I loved this book! Finding Kassie is the first book in the Serenity Mountain Series by the new author Cassie Colton. This book has romance, action and suspense. It has a great storyline and you won’t want to put the book down. I can’t wait to read her next book! This is a must read!

No spoilers….but this was a phenomenal book! So glad I picked it up. It was fast-paced, exciting, and I got attached to the characters from early on in the story. Happy it’s part of a series because I know there is more coming! Congratulations, Cassie Colton! This is a hit.

If your a fan of Susan Stoker you will love Cassie Colton. She is a new author to me but so glad I picked up her book. Love Kassie and Emma, Chase is so protective and loved the story overall. Can't wait to dive into more of her books

There's danger and intrigue in this story, I didn't know when I started reading this first book is a continuation to book 2 and 3. I hate cliffhangers, but I need the next two books to see what happens.
