conflicting feelings

With proper editing this story could be absolutely brilliant. However some sections actually don’t make sense and the writing is very amateurish. Later the book improves but could still do with a more rigorous editor. Part of the editing could resolve a number of the plot holes that leave one guessing and often dissatisfied. Particularly the reason she has to keep her sister’s identity. Especially once the demon Stanton has gone to jail. Roger is also a surprising outlier because it’s confusing as to Shay he was never on the team’s radar. Etc. I did keep reading to the end. But I spent the first part cursing the poor editing and the second cursing good old Kassie who has everyone running around her whilst she spends all her time rejecting them and then when left to her own devices, she’s confused. Major martyr and hero syndrome at play. Her design ideas for the hospital also seem to come out of left wing. Isn’t she a medical person, not an architect or landscaper or? Oh well read it for yourself and see what you think. Well done to the author for putting pen to paper but please don’t rush to publication or skimp on editing costs.

Oh wow! The follow on book to Finding Kassie
Is just as good as the first. An involving fast paced intense ride, truly had me captivated.
This was about Kassie and her "daughter" who was being protected by Chase and each member of his security team.
Fully immersive, this story had it all. I found this focused a lot on her recovery and the turmoil behind a tragic event.
The dynamic between Chase and Kassie was very touch and go throughout this book as they worked together and apart. But their attraction was always there no matter how much Kassie fought it.
Very well written, with fantastic characters that took you through the high highs and the low lows of emotions and the extreme situations they had to deal with.
I can't recommend this book highly enough and I hope you will take the journey of Chase and Kassie with gusto.
Very well done!!!

Chasing Kassie is the continuing story of Chase and Kassie.

This part of the story has Chase, Kassie and the SEAL team wondering who to trust. Kassie finds herself on the run again and learns more about her sister's life and what was expected for her if she would have continued the path she was on.

The story continues to keep you on the edge and kicks up the intensity as Kassie faces the man who started this as well as the other dangers still lurking. And just when you think everything is calming down, the story pulls you back in as Kassie gets kidnapped and rescued.

This part of their story has me catching my breath. I love that no matter what Chase never left Kassie.

First off I want to say Chasing Kassie is definitely another 5 Star book by this amazing new Author Cassie Colton. So now that has been said my review of the book is as followed: Kassie makes a huge decision to leave the mountain where she has been safe. Her main focus is to destroy the person who has destroyed her family. James and his goons are the worst people ever. Chase has only one goal and that’s to protect who he loves. Will Kassie listen to her heart??? Will James get what he deserves??? Will Chase protect his love??? Will Leo’s team help??? If you haven’t read the first book start there. This series is 100% worth it.

The most-anticipated book of the summer!
Book two in the Serenity Mountain Series does not disappoint. It picks up where we left off in the first book and gets Kassie closer to her HEA. This is an emotional series where you watch the characters grow and fall in love. Kassie is fighting for a life where she doesn’t have to live in the shadows. This book is filled with intrigue, betrayal, danger and romance and gives us a glimpse into the back story of other characters. Can’t wait to see what is coming next!

Holy smokes this was a great read. A book filled with suspense mystery and a side order of romance. I don't usually read suspense but this book had me hooked on the first page of book one. The mystery of who the mc is will leave you in suspense. I was on the edge of my seat reading this book wondering what will come next. The twist and turns and truly the heat between the mc is sizzling. But I truly feel the mystery overrides the romance because you just with for the next twist. I know this left me with a hangover waiting for the next book!

Great emotional read. Get this book.

I loved this book. I keep trying to find the words that convey the emotions I felt as I read this without spoiling it. The best I can come up with is an emotional ride filled with love, hope and family. Tears ran down my face as I was reading parts of this roller coaster ride of Chase and Kassie's life. They came to life on the pages.

Cannot wait until the next book comes out.

This is Book 2 in The Serenity Mountain Series. You must read Book 1 before this and Book 3 after.

We are still following Chase and Kassie on their journey to one another. There are mistakes made, assumptions have been assumed and my heart felt like it was being pulled in so many different directions. Honestly, I wanted to tell off Kassie more than once, but clearly, I couldn't. I can't wait for more.

This book did NOT end how I thought it would, but I'm about to jump into Book 3.

This is the second book in The Serenity Mountain Series by Cassie Colton. This is a heart wrenching story of the terrors one woman went through at the hands of her husband and father-in-law. The threats, the beatings and the degradation she experienced to keep her daughter and twin sister safe. I loved this story, it's original and has all the feels.

More drama following Cassie. With the trauma she went through, she's stuck in her head and letting herself go. It's also affecting Emma, not to mention those around her, and let's not forget the she devil Rachel. No happy ending yet, hopefully by the next book for Cassie and her missing love.

It's still not the best written book, and it still ends unfinished, but it's enough of an original story to want me to see it through!

This is book 2 of the Serenity Mountain Series and if you have not read book one you need to start there. This book does pick up right where book one left off. This is an emotional read.
We are thrown right back into Kassie doing what she thinks is best to protect her daughter at all costs, even if that means fleeing from the mountain and safety of Chase protecting her. Kassie goes through a very traumatic event in this book, and we see her pushing everyone away even more than she was before. Chasing Kassie deals a lot with Kassie's healing process of course we are still dealing with the drama and suspense of everything else that is going on as well. I can't wait for the next book and to see what is in store for the characters. I absolutely loved this book and would recommend it to other readers.
