The Dark Kings, who consist of four ex-Marines, come together seeking revenge and retribution against their loved ones harmed by various mafia’s and cartels. While bridging the world of crime and law with their secret security organization, the FBI uses them particularly to destroy underworld criminals. This author conveys her story exceptionally well. This is book #6, Dante Baldassare’s story. So the previous Sr. Baldassare Don loses his life during an FBI raid making the son, Dante, the new Baldassare Don. Dante seeks help from the Dark Kings to defect from the mafia. This story was rife with intense organized mob rules, famiglia wars and drama while Dante walks a tightrope against time. Meanwhile his romantic love interest, Adelina Baldoni, is running from him and her mafia life, compounding his problems. While this story, (and all the previous stories in this series), have many editing errors…for example; “taunt” when the sentence obviously describes “taut” or “heckles” instead of “hackles”, it was still worth reading. I enjoyed this story very much.

What a fitting end to an incredible series, the Dark Kings of NYC! I don’t even like mafia stories but I got so caught up in this one only because I love Juliette’s writing and OMG it was amazing! Love Dante! His obsession with Adelina made him do things that was a little over the top but he’s determined to change the course of both their lives for good. I loved his determination and confidence, it made him irresistible 🥰 Adelina is spunky and gives him a run for his money 😆 but she can’t resist him because they’re destined to be together 🥰 I enjoyed this series tremendously and loved every one of the Dark Kings ❤️ Sorry this is the end but fortunately they’ll show up every now and then in the next new series starring in February this year 🤗

The Dark Kings save another

Dante Baldassare is the new head of the Baldassare mafia. His father was shot when a raid on a warehouse had taken place. He hides out at the home of the Bald a son I mafia. Actually he hides out in the bedroom of Adelina the woman he would always marry. When the coast is clear he kidnappes Adelina and is going to make her his. Daddy wants no part of the mafia life and has plans to escape to California. She escapes Dante and carries out her plans. Dante makes a deal with Conner Barrett and plans to escape the mafia life. The arrangement works for everyone. Good conclusion to the Dark Kings. A must read. The Kings are expanding.

on kindle. you know i will say this every time i finish a Juliette N Banks book. she seriously never disappoints me. love love love “gangster king”. in the very beginning BAM 💥 hits you with a spicy scene. the story of adelina and dante is just so good. they both want the same thing but neither of them knows it. love the epilogue. i especially loved it how ms Juliette interconnects her series. i will saying over and over again. if you havent read any of her books, you are missing out. start with any of her genres, i promise you will not be disappointed. i have yet to be disappointed in the almost 50 books she has out.

An absolute fitting great ending for the series with Dante, the new mafia Don of his family and Andelina, a mafia princess, whom he loved since she was a kid. The snag or snags, she's promised to another plus she wants out of the archaic brutal mafia family lifestyle. This book had me hooked almost more than the other as the ending was totally different from the expected, but left me feeling that the impossible can be achieved. The Kings will be dearly missed. Luckily I know there's more great books to follow from Juliette.

Oh holy hotness, I love nothing more than a morally grey man who knows what he wants. Or who he wants. Adelina doesn't know how lucky she is to have had the eye of the newest Mafia Don, for years. Now that he's stepping into his destiny, watching him try to convince her she is a part of that, is very hot. Will her independent streak lead her too far away or will she see him for who he really is and give in?! I can tell you I couldn't put this book down until I had the answers!!

Buckle up folks this book will take you on one crazy ride. Dante and Adelina are destined. Adelina may want to deny what is right there in front of her but seriously all the signs are there that Dante is utterly head over heels for her and always has been and desperately wants her to love him back. Once she figures it out there is nothing stopping them well almost nothing. There is that little issue of the mafia families but nothing that this mafia Don can’t manage.

Get ready to meet you next book boyfriend. Dante is everything you have ever dreamed of when you dream of a badass, cocky, sizzling hot MMC. He’s loved Adelina her whole life and there is nothing he wont do to win her over. Adelina has a very tough choice she needs to make and Dante for sure does not make it easy on her. Their story is one I could read over and over again and never get tired of. An amazing end of one of the best series you will ever read!!!

I've read all 6 books and wow ... amazing, the stories and characters and the darkness behind it all ... absolutely brilliant 👏🏻
I'm not doing any spoilers so you'll need to read these books to see what I'm talking about but I can guarantee you'll be hooked from the start ... so go for it, you'll enjoy every minute

Amazing! Glad I wasn't at work as I couldn't put it down, wanting to know how it all worked out. The ending is brilliant, and I'm almost sad it's the last in the series as it leaves you wanting to see how they all move forward - although, with Juliette, there's crossovers everywhere!! I fell in love with Dante.

The Gangster King gives us a wonderful love story with lots of twists and turns in the Mafia world. Dante and Adelina have so much passion between them that they could set the pages on fire. This book was one I could not put down and will be ready many times over.

Dante and Addy's  chemistry jumps off the page!   This  book makes  you want to race through it  because it's so good!  With so much against them, I found I was rooting for them the whole way.   Definitely my favorite book of this series.   What a way to end it.

The Gangster King is the 6th and final book in Juliette N. Banks series, The Dark Kings of NYC. Dante and Adelina's story is a fast paced hot, sexy, and ultimately endearing ride. I loved this entire series and their story was a perfect ending.

I'm so confused with the epilogue, I thought Izzy and Summer were pregnant before? But it was Sienna who had a baby. I really don't understand.
