Will Libby overcome her doubts and fears and learn to trust a man again?

"Destined for the Mail-Order Groom" is a historical romance novel of approximately 90,000 words. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
This is an action-packed tale of tragedy and recovery. Luke is a rancher in Texas, his father also has a ranch. Luke's mother died, and his father has spiraled, leaving Luke to take in his little brother. Luke's best friend writes a mail order bride ad, catching the interest of Libby. Libby has lost her parents in a horrible accident and has had to take in her young brother and sister. She desperately needs to either find a good paying job or get married. Everything is not all roses and chocolate! Luke is unsure about their compatibility and wants to spend a month together to see if they are able to forge ahead. There is a ton of stress for these two. If they can just put their efforts and brains together, all will work out. Good book with lots of drama.
Quicker than mail but still sincere love can blossom. Two souls seek comfort and peace in the days of the 1800s. Each farm/ranch an outpost on its own. Seeking a homestead and the peace of the Lord. Troubles to be borne and fought. Children to be raised and land to be nurtured. The way of life goes on and folks depend upon themselves to grow and thrive in the hardships of life. Mail took months, life took years and tears. Family was community and all depended on each other. God guided and Man made the best he could have what the land had to offer.
I really enjoyed reading this story, it was totally amazing. There's a lot of action and seeing how Libby is able to use her faith in God to bring about good changes in her life and the lives of her little sister and brother, and the lives of her betrothed and his father. This really is a very good story.
The faith of one can open up the blessing for other's. The tragedy these two suffered and the faith of one well overcome the anger of them all. An amazing story of faith and love.
Lilah River has again created believable characters in another mail-order bride and groom story. I found it very hard to pause my reading of Luke and Libby's story to even make dinner, eat, or go to bed!
A sweet and clean falling in love story. I enjoyed reading this Mail Order Groom story its a bit different from normal mail order brides this being a groom.
I really enjoyed this mail-order bride story. There is a lot of detail written into the characters to make them come alive and the plot is well-developed and keeps the reader engaged. I stayed up almost 2 hours past my usual bedtime to finish reading!
This was one of those cute storylines that leave you feeling good about what you read! There's sad parts, violence and a lot of reference to the Bible, which combined made a great story!

This story covers fear, anxiety, love, faith, and trust. It grips the reader to keep turning the pages, especially as people's lives change for the bad and good.
Libby had been through so much heartache and loss with the deaths of her parents then her aunt and uncle who passed away. She sets off to find a new future via an ad for a mail order groom.
Luke has grown distant and bitter after losing his mother and his father falling into such depths of grief that he loses himself in alcohol.
Add in Libby’s younger brother and sister and Luke’s younger brother and it is truly a family saga. Great read!
