Rate this book
He’s a single father. She’s the elementary school teacher who teaches his children.
They’re both trying to find the missing piece in their lives…

Olivia Dunlap came to Blueberry Bay to live with her aunt Marsha, looking for a change of scenery and a fresh start. She loves her job at Little Clams Elementary, especially since all she’s ever wanted is a family.

Corey Easton is a new arrival in the quaint seaside town. As he works to open his souvenir shop, he finds himself grappling with the challenges of raising two young children on his own—especially his daughter, who has been having some difficulties recently.

He never planned on finding love again, but when he sees how good Olivia is with his kids, he can’t help but be drawn to the pretty, kindhearted schoolteacher.

Can these two lonely souls overcome the differences between them to see the truth that’s right before their eyes—that they just might be perfect for each other?

For Caitlin and Michael, things have been going very well. Caitlin is even starting to dream of a marriage proposal… until a surprise visit from Michael’s ex-girlfriend throws her for a loop, bringing up some lingering insecurities. Can Michael prove that he only has eyes for Caitlin, or will doubt get the better of her?

And when Dane’s mother breaks her leg, he invites her to stay with him and Alissa while she heals up. Although Alissa and Johanna have repaired their relationship since their rocky first meeting, will they be able to get along now that they’re living under the same roof?

Nestled against the beautiful New England town of Whale Harbor, Blueberry Bay is a cozy coastal town with sandy beaches and a cast of characters who’ll make you laugh, smile, and be swept away. If you enjoy clean romance and stories that celebrate family and friendship, this series is for you!

Good romance novel

So many couples that I really can't name them all. I think there were three engagements. Olivia and Corey are heading that way and his twins are backing them 100 per cent. Just a really sweet book. I am looking forward to book two and two weddings, another engagement and a new relationship for Dale's Mom.

Fiona Baker's series set in Blueberry Bay draws us into life in a small sweet town with friendly, helpful people. Widower Corey arrives in town with his twins and is enchanted by Olivia. Caitlin and Michael continue their romance, and Alissa makes progress in her relationship with Dane's mother, Johanna. I just love the sense of family and the importance of friends. People help each other to solve problems and offer assistance. I always feel like I'm a part of the town when I read these stories. Now if I could only learn how to surf !

See note.

This book’s purpose seemed to be a wrap up of the stories so far - tying everything up in and neat and totally predictable fashion.

Heartwarming

I enjoy reading about the characters in Blueberry Bay, and watching the relationships grow. It was also enjoyable reading about the new romance that bloomed.

Delightful, despite a broken leg and a broken arm, this was pure fun to read. I loved all the romance.

use character names

Hard to read adjectives instead of proper names. “The older woman” “the other man” it’s a peeve of mine.
The story itself surgery sweet
