Making the same mistakes again. Honest I wasn't felling the tension. The back and forth of the "I want her" to "we shouldn't" from both Hilary and Emily was kinda tedious. Emily literally left her last job because she was dating her boss and rather than be more wary, is quickly eager to do the same thing again. Hilary seemed to talk to a lot of people about it, the bartender, her friends, strangers she just met; whereas Emily had one conversation about it to her co-workers (at her second job). The book wasn't bad, it was just kinda bland to be honest.
Is not read any others in the series. And maybe if have liked it more if I had. But.
Ones just left a job because if a relationship gone bad with her old boss but seems to have no real worries about the same gradient again. And the boss is telling everyone else what she wants despite being worried about it. The friend group weren't in it enough for me to bond and love them. And then I blinked and it was done. So it was too short for me, the angst didn't feel realand I just wasn't invested.
