This book was so good! It had all the qualities of a good epic fantasy well executed. It takes a chapter or two to get things moving but the world building is definitely necessary to set everything up. Ferrick is an elven mercenary who is bringing back a bounty when he finds an undead being in his way. Then the story unfolds with a quest to, of course, save the kingdom. And of course we end in a cliff hanger.
