In The Immortal Heart, the story of Estrella continues, and we get to learn more about Dion, Tristan and their backgrounds. I felt like this book gave more insight into the world of the immortals as we get to meet both boys’ families and travel to their home countries. Estrella begins to question everything she remembers, and starts to discover who she is in the here and now. As with the first book in the series, I had difficulty putting it down as I kept wanting to see what happened next. I was so excited to be chosen as an advanced reader for this book and it did not disappoint!

𝑰’𝒎 𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕.

We pick up basically right where we left off and immediately get into the action. So much information was given and I loved the multiple POV!

“𝑵𝒐𝒘 𝑰 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒊𝒇 𝑰 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒈𝒐.”

Estrella goes through a lot. I just want to hug her so tight! She learns a lot as bits and pieces of her past are revealed and while trying to figure out her powers. I'm 100% Team Tristan right now❤️‍🔥 I feel like he's literally perfect for her. Or who she is now, at least. I'm stressing about when she gets her memories back😭🫠

“𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒔𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝑬𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂, 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒐𝒓 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒔.”

We learn a lot more about the world and side characters! I loved all of the new information, characters and plotting. I really can't wait for the final book🥹 I just KNOW I'm going to be hurting😅

Thank you so much to the author for the gifted copy!🖤

AMAZING!!
This is Book 2 of Christina’s The Immortal Bound Series and it was seriously amazing!
This book picks up right where book 1 ends with Estrella leaving with the prince to the Sabian Kingdom, where she is clearly not welcome. She is still working to regain her memories and her powers with the help of the prince. This book is so fast paced and there are new secrets revealed or new murder plots around every corner!
Now, I like the prince as a character, however I still love her with Dion and hope she gets her memories back in the next book and they can continue their relationship! I also missed all her friends from the first book and hoping to see more of them in book 3 as well!
This was such a fun rollercoaster that has you engaged and on the edge of your seat!

This did leave on a bit of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read book 3!!!

I am absolutely loving where this story is going! Getting to know more about Estrella, Tristan, and Dion, their backstories and personalities. I can’t wait to see where book 3 leads us.

It’s such a tear on who to trust. Is Tristan the true bad guy or is Dion? Which one has the most malicious intent? I can’t decide!!

I’m so grateful for the author to allow me to read the ARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Best part of being able to read the ARC is reading it sooner… worst part is having to wait longer for the next one 😆

Note: no spice, no language, and some fight scenes

WOW!!! I haven’t read a book I’ve loved this much in a while! The author definitely outdid herself with the sequel to The Importal Secret and amped up every aspect of the book. The World building was so exciting and revealed way more aspects to the world that I didn’t know possible. Now I’m jsut so excited about where this series is going to go in the next book🤩 there were so many moments that had me on the edge of my seat. also I loveeeee Tristan but am really impressed by the love triangle that has been built… will stay loyal to Tristan 100% tho🥹

This was a nonstop clean fantasy with a love triangle that reminded me of Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight series. It also had the same high octane action and violence, along with a few swear words. However, only kisses in the romance, which I appreciated. There is a bit of cliff hanger to the ending, but there’s enough change coming that it makes sense to end this book where it did and start the new one with the next book.

The Immortal Heart makes me wish it was like Fairy Tale Road also by Christina Farley and I could choose my path because there are 2 love interests! The action never stops, it some times seems a bit too fast but still enjoyable. It is NOT boring despite how long it took me to read. It's an adventure I can't wait to continue and see who is chosen and how the world is saved!

What a great second installment to the Immortal Bound series! It only took me a few days to read. It picked right back up and the pace was fast. The romance was oh. So. Good. The aesthetics were beautiful. The world Christina created is detailed and easy to picture. The characters were unique. I love that she made characters on each side of the war relatable and likable. And also evil. The messiness is intriguing and makes it harder to guess what is going to happen next. The cliffhanger ending has me ready to read book 3!

Read for:
-Amnesia
-Immortal powers
-Elemental powers
-Love triangle
-Old timey castle aesthetics
-Political Intrigue
-Multiple POV

I am really enjoying this series. I am also getting very invested in the story line. There is more information coming out about the characters. I am still kind of stuck between Tristan and Dion. I like both characters and they are growing and developing as well (at this time I am leaning more toward Tristan as my favorite but I have wavered through both installments). There is also more information coming out of the supporting characters and I am enjoying their story lines that seem to be developing; Lexi seems to have an interesting plot. There could be some interesting story spin-offs. Some suspense and a cliffhanger is included but it is not so drastic that I am broken. The novel is also a clean read which is great because I would like to share this story with my teen when I finish the series. I am really looking forward to the next installment in the series.
