The Greatest Galactic Adventure Ever!
Rae Knightly uses superb world-building and character development to take Trin Moonrise further across the galaxy to Orbitus, a peculiar ringed planet outside the Interstellar Alliance. It is here that our young hero finds herself searching for a mysterious secret library and falling, quite literally, into further chaos. Things are getting much more complicated now as Trin discovers things about Babbo, the Lost Space Treasure, and the name of her true home planet. Unfortunately... or maybe not so unfortunately... the sole clue out of her grasp is her real identity, which only the Remanant Supreme Leader knows.

Action, adventure, betrayal! This book has it all!

Book four in the series begins where book three left off. Trin Moonrise has been abducted by the Remnant Supreme Leader. In an attempt to save Trin, Keshia follows them at the last second.
All of the usual characters are back. Woolver, Fennec, Keshia, Astra, Tulo, and even the old, vile schoolmaster from Trin's youth, Stinge. New characters are introduced, such as Zaimon, a 15 year old empath on the planet Orbitus, who plays an important role in this book.
From the first page to the very last, the action never lets up. Trin encounters mystery and deception, placing her in constant danger. Part of her past is revealed and shakes her to her core.
I absolutely love this series even though it is written for teens. The reader cannot help but root for Trin as she dashes across galaxies, sometimes against her will, to discover the truth of her heritage and locate the Terra Vault.
Despite taking place on several planets and starships, the world building is amazing. The Supreme Leader's space craft, the Grimstar, is a planet killer. The dialogue is emotional, humorous, and contains no cursing. (Quarks, double quarks are the substitute curse words.)
The author weaves a thrilling multi-plotted story with a tremendous amount of finesse. I am truly looking forward to book five, Doomstar.
TW: Blood, forced captivity, death, abduction and extremely dangerous situations.

Rae Knightly is one of the best science fiction authors in the universe. I have read all her books so far, and The Lost Space Treasure (prequel included) is just as amazing as ever -- if not more amazing. And believe it or not, it is really hard to come up with new reviews every time I read her books, which is saying something I think. I literally just completed Grimstar and was like, I need to write a review, but what do I say that I haven't said before? What do I say without giving the plot away? So I guess just know this... Rae Knightly may be a middle grade science fiction author, but her books will be enjoyed by all ages for centuries to come.

The new novel in the "Lost Space Treasure" series, by writer Rae Knightly introduces us to Trin in search of the past she no longer remembers and as far away as possible from the "Remnants Supreme Leader".
But their paths intersect: sometimes on the huge remnants' starship Grimstar, sometimes on Orbitus, the ringed planet with a secret library...
And Trin's heart seems to flutter when a boy gives her more and more attention!

GRIMSTAR takes us on another epic adventure, with new exotic locations, as we discover a bit more about Trin. The only negative is that we have to wait for the next book to come out…
