Chaotic Behavior
Minutes blended into days and weeks since they took me. Each moment was torture until I realized I had something to live for.
My life was turned upside down in less than a minute. One day I was working a job for The Syndicate and the next I was locked up with no way out. I chose this life, but I didn’t choose for it to go this way.
Time has passed and I still don’t have the one thing I need. My child. They let me go to send a message, but they kept my daughter. Leverage was a frightening thing; I had been forced to do the unthinkable but now my only goal was to get my daughter and start over.
Alone now with no one to blame but myself, it was time to fight for my life back and the last thing I would have expected was to find my daughter with two men who would change my future forever.

I found the narrative to be somewhat disjointed, leading to a reading experience that didn't fully resonate with me. While the overall story was decent, the style didn't align with my preferences. However, I did appreciate Nikki Rome's writing, which showcased her unique voice and creativity. Though the book didn't quite hit the mark for me, I can see why others might enjoy it.

As a member of Nikki Rome’s street team I received this book as an ARC and to say I was excited to see the email from her in my inbox is an understatement. After reading Fierce Behaviour I couldn’t wait to read Sarah’s story and Chaotic Behaviour did not disappoint.
In the first half of Chaotic Behaviour we see what happened to Sarah in the time she was abducted, during which she was tortured, beaten, interrogated and sexually assaulted; but while in captivity she met the two men who would save her and steal her heart. We are introduced to Santino and Rocco who are both fiercely protective of those they love and would do anything for each other, Sarah and their baby daughter.
The second half of the book shows Sarah’s fight to find her little girl and the men she loves while also earning back the trust of her best friend, her coworkers and her boss.
There is no third act breakup, no on page sexual assault (it is just mentioned), spicy scenes (I’d rate at about 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5) and a happily ever after.
Chaotic Behaviour is a pretty quick read and it just captured my attention as a reader. I really enjoyed reading Sarah, Rocco and Santino’s story, I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mafia romance and dark-ish romance books.

Santino and Rocco were two men that took care of her after she was tortured while she was locked up. They were gentle and caring unlike the others. Now time has passed and she does not have the one the thing she needed. Her daughter. They kept her daughter as leverage hoping Sarah would comply with their demands. She is willing to do anything to get her life back and the last thing she expected was to find her daughter with the two men who changed her world.
This is a super quick read and it closed the Observant Behaviors series nicely. Nothing will come between a mother and their child. I really enjoyed this book just like all the other books by Nikki.

So for me this was a very interesting story. Once that I quickly became addicted too and couldn’t put down. I was quite literally done in a little over 3 hours it was that good. Working for the syndicate, things don't go as planned for our Sarah when the men she is working for. Quite literally hold her daughter as leverage, but after a lot of searching our lovely Sarah soon finds her in the care of Rocco and Santino. This was very well written, the story was amazing and the complex dynamic between the men and Sarah and her daughter. Definitely not your typical Mafia story this one definitely kept me high addicted and anticipating what was gonna to happen in the next page. The plot was absolutely amazing and the characters left you want to know even more about. Wonderful work can’t wow to read more from this amazing author!!!!

This is Observant Behaviors Book 5 and the end of this series. I loved reading Sarah's story! It was worth the wait. The last of the series was awesome and I hated for it to end. The steam level was perfect and I loved seeing Sarah get her HEA finally.
I would suggest binging the series to understand this book better and get the nuances of the book and Sarah's story.
Definitely highly recommended and the series is a MUST READ!!

This was an interesting story.
Working for the syndicate, things don't go as planned when they hold her daughter as leverage, but soon Sarah finds her in the care of Rocco and Santino.
Well written, the story was great and the complex dynamic between the men and Sarah and her daughter. Not your usual Mafia story.
Great plot and characters you want to know more about. Great work!

Pretty quick read which I love! But everything just seemed to happen so fast that it felt kinda disconnected. If it was a longer book and everything was spaced out a bit more, I think this would be such an amazing book. I do still like the book for sure but the super fast pacing is the only reason I rated it 3 stars

Sarah is captured and tortured, but when Rocco and Santino show some care, a new sense of survival kicks in. However, she must comply to keep her daughter safe. This was such a suspenseful and exciting story that I just did not want to put it down until the end.

I was blown away by this book! This is book five of the series and the last book. It ended with a serious bang and I devoured the entire book in a single sitting. Loved the spice and excellent scenes. Definitely a must read if you love romance!

This book was fast pace and a quick read. It was interesting to find out what happened to Sarah and get her story. I’m so glad she got the happy ending she deserved. I recommend reading it, it’s such a good book.

This is book five of this interconnected series, told in multiple first person POV and leaves you with a HEA. This story is a fast paced read that can be read in a day. This is book five, but can be read as a standalone and still enjoyed. Although, IMO, it is more enjoyable when the series is read in order, as the previous characters make an appearance and you get to see another side of Sarah and more of her history.
My heart went out to Sarah for everything she went through. I was excited to see that she had Santino and Rocco to look out for her. Although this was fast paced, I read book four first and saw more of Sarah, which helped me to connect with these characters better. I loved that Sarah wouldn’t let anything stop her from getting back to her men and child.
I enjoyed this whole series, but with each book I read and each book that showed more of Noah and how his mind worked, he definitely became my favorite character. I can’t wait to read more of Nikki Rome’s work! I received an advanced readers copy. These thoughts and opinions are my own.
