Excited is not enough to describe what I felt when Leah wrote another book.
This book is so different to her other books but just as good if not better. This book is about a family of 3 sisters, who according to the town are cursed ( but they’re not) it’s just small minded people in a small town. Giselle has a beautiful daughter Miracle and a deadbeat ex and when the town gets a new detective that is investigating a crime, sparks fly for these two. I can’t wait for more and I can honestly say I highly recommend reading this book.

Oh! Gisele and Jamison’s story was such a beautiful story to read. The connection was gorgeous.
Absolutely adored the whole family, especially Jocks love for the woman in his family. And Miss Miracle 😍

Brilliant!!
This is a beautifully written emotionally charged story which has family, friendships, humour, witty banter, shenanigans, challenges, intrigue, romance, taking chances, and love which all leads to an entertaining, and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I absolutely loved everything about this book . ❤️❤️
The amazing story , the hilarious characters and the writing style so totally different to her previous books it was such an awesome read I just devoured it . 😉
I can't wait to read more in this series and I intend to add the paperback to my Leah sharelle collection .

It’s no secret how much I love reading this author’s books, and after a two-year hiatus, I was so excited to know a new book was releasing. I particularly enjoyed the new writing style and her terrific sense of humour.
Gisele, Claudia, and Elle Blessing, three very close sisters, are the central focus of the small town of Blessings, which their relatives developed years prior. Georgina, their crazy but stunning-looking mother, and Jock, their larger-than-life protective father, all form this incredible family—oh, and a couple of husbands. 😆
Special mention goes to Gisele’s daughter, Miracle, the cutest little button on the planet and has her grandmother’s wicked sense of humour. Detective Jamison Jury is the ring in who turns Gisele’s life upside down. A hunky cop who is instantly attracted to both Gisele and Miracle. His ugly pug dog is his offsider, who also immediately captures Miracle’s heart.
The story is told by various characters, mainly the three Blessing sisters and Jamison. By having multiple points of view, readers get a much clearer idea of everyone’s background and what makes them tick.
Detailed descriptions enable readers to envision each scene clearly, getting almost a sensory perception through the words. For example… “ Sitting in the dingy, stale-smelling office that got used only once a month… was not my idea of fun.” My nose turned up when reading this, and I was almost offended by the smell. And this book's inventive cursing is hilarious, but 🤐 no spoilers from me!
Parallel with the romance between Gisele and Jamison is a mystery that, when solved, has a truly satisfying result. Not wanting to give anything more away I only wanted to recommend this refreshing story with its fast-paced storyline.

Wonderful
I loved to see you back Ms. Sharelle. This book is funny, serious, and a downright great read. A must have have book. Giselle and Jury have you wanting more and Miracle goodness I loved that little girl. This book has me laughing out loud and wanting it to continue. Can't wait to read more of the Blessing girls. Welcome back Ms. She tells and hope you doing better.

Giselle Blessing has felt the supposed curse of her family since she was 16. When her beautiful little Miracle was born she fought everything to save her daughter. Now a man, Dectective Jamison Jury, walks into her life and changes everything. I love this family so much and I love that Leah Sharelle has returned to the book world, she was missed. I loved this story and it's cast of characters even the furry ones. I highly recommend this first book in this series.

Leah Sharelle has written a book that is great for the reading soul
Holy crap on a cracker FIRST BLESSING : BLESSINGS PART ONE from Author Leah Sharelle was such a hugely great book for my reading soul. Seriously, it was jam packed full of the feels. I snort laughed out loud, I cried and I laughed again.
It’s a beautifully and cleverly written romantic comedy with enough of a twist to bring about an element of suspense and Ms Sharelle has let her humour fly free in this read from a small town built for the area’s gold mines at the peak of the rush.
Set in Blessing, named for their great-great-grandfather’s founding, the Blessing Sisters and their mother are euphemistically speaking, as eccentric and crazy as loons, but are lovingly doted on by their oft silent stoically protective father of the girls and one of their husbands. The love between Jock Blessing as the family patriarch and mother, Gigi, is a solid foundation upon which this beautiful story is built, and the characters of Gisele, Elle and Claudia are just as strong. The ladies rule the roost and Jock, with back from his son-in-law Josh, is happy to do as bid, until his family is threatened, then nothing on God’s green earth is going to stop him getting his dander up and looking to dispose of body parts into the disused mine shafts scattered around the vast property – of which only he has the mind map!
Brought to town to investigate the disappearance of a local, Detective Jamison Jury and Optimus, his ugly psychotic rescued pug, very quickly upset the apple cart all while earning the moniker of HC (Hot Cop) before being quickly thrown by Gigi and her two elder daughters into the path of a still single Gisele, mother to precocious 8-year-old Miracle. This young girl is as funny as a fight, has an old head on her shoulders and understands much beyond her years. Gisele is an amazing mum and in spite of her best efforts, the inventive cursing flowing smoothly from the lips of her family straight into the ears of Miracle, meant she’s just as accomplished!!!
I loved the layout of the plot and the multi-POV’s given on the journey for Gisele moving from accursed town pariah through into healing and love. We heard not only from Gisele and Jamison, but both Elle and Claudia as her older sisters, meaning the book felt robust and fast paced. Ms Sharelle also pulled together more fair-dinkum-Aussie colloquialisms than you can shake a stick at so my laughter was generally kept on the boil except when I was crying. Her writing style is not emotionally flowery by any stretch, relying entirely on succinct well-written descriptions, connecting readers with the heart of her characters so what is experienced on the page is literally felt by the reader.

What an interesting storyline! While the start of this book was slightly abrupt, and it took me a minute to follow along as the book is told in three points of view, once I got the hang of it and somewhat of a backstory, I was hooked. This first installment of this series follows the three Blessing sisters and essentially their ostracizing from the local town that they’ve been born and raised in. Gisele became a teen mom who the town ostracized because of her baby daddy’s reaction to expecting, where he broke both his legs and lived up to the family’s curse. Claudia is in love with her husband, and they are deciding if they should try again to have the child they so desperately want. Elle is in a very unhappy marriage that her family doesn’t know most the sordid details about. That all changes when Jamison, a detective from another city, comes to town to search for Elle’s husband, as his parents have reported him missing. I was kept guessing on what was really going on with Elle and her husband and was quite shocked to see how brutal things got between them and thankfully Jamison was in town to mitigate the aftermath. I also loved that him and Gisele were the perfect match, and he cared for and protected her daughter maybe even more than Gisele. I loved how quirky this family was and I can’t wait to see what comes next for these characters!

This was such an awesome read! We loved the ladies in this story they were funny engaging made us laugh out loud time and time again and Gisele family was crazy and wonderful and full of love. Gisele's sisters are crazy but, in the right way, we love them and the family as a whole.
From the moment we started turning the pages we were already falling in love with this story character's with the family drama the witty banter and that precious child called Miracle just stole our hearts.
The chemistry between Jamison & Gisele was beautiful they made a wonderful couple we loved how both of them were protective of the other. The fact that Jamison made Miracle part of the courtship was beautiful. We have never seen a family so protective and so in love with Gisele's daughter it just melted our hearts not only that Miracle broke hearts wherever she went.
From the moment we started turning the pages we were engrossed in the pages we can't say enough about how much we loved this story the plot the how invested we became in the character's lives and their stories. A beautiful story we adored immensely.
We are so glad Ms. Sharelle is back again we missed her awesome stories and all her amazing characters

Jamison is a big city cop, tasked with a missing person case in a little country town.
Everything he thought he wanted in life is thrown out the window as soon as he slaps some handcuffs on a driver breaking the law.
This book has it all...comedy, love, romance, mystery and an ugly Pug who steals the hearts of everyone he meets.

OH How I adored this book - from start to finish. If you’ve read Ms. Sharelle in the past you’ll soon note this is nothing like her other books but boy oh boy did she ever strike gold with this one. So much so this reader can’t wait for more from the town of Blessings. First Blessings has a well written, heartwarming storyline that will have you smiling and laughing at the women's banter and crazy antics while also having your heart in turmoil as the intimate lives of the Blessing women’s lives unfold.
I don’t want to spoil the book, the synopsis above will give you a good glimpse at what’s in store. But I will implore you to grab up this beautifully written book asap. You won’t regret it. I know this reader will be reading this series over and over and I can’t wait for book 2 to hit the shelves.

This was an interesting story, a beginning with more to come. The Blessing women were something else. This one was an introduction to everyone and the start of Gisele's journey. She was so wrapped up in the Blessing "curse" that she almost lost her future. Jamison wasn't sure what to make of Gisele, but their paths were entwined. I loved the strength of these women and the intelligence of their men to pay attention. I look forward to the next book.

A laugh out loud, charming, emotional and heartwarming introduction to the Blessing family. I loved that this story was told in many POV’s. But the main focus was on the budding relationship between the youngest sister, Gisele and the hot cop, Jamison. I was enthralled by these characters and the way family was a big factor. This is a delightfully satisfying and addictive story. Cannot wait to dive into the next story.
