Hayley Faiman was born and raised in the Central Valley of California. She and her husband met when they were still in High School. They were married a few years later. They lived in Oregon while her husband was in the US Coast Guard. After living in Hill Country, Texas, for eight years and three years in East Texas, they now call North Carolina home and spend their time with their two teenage sons at all their events, screaming from the stands as they swim their hearts out!

Just ok

It started off great then took a nose drive. That happens with this Author some are good and some not so much.

I didn't really feel a connection between Risks and Kiplyn, they are together but the whole time She's I hate you and even when she doesn't she is constantly saying this won't work. I got repetitive and boring, sorry.

If it stayed like the beginning it would've been so much better.

I’m not a huge fan of second chance romance but I love this authors book and this story was no different. My heart broke for Kiplyn because of what she went though, but I loved seeing Roadkill become the man that she deserved after their past together. We have a strong hero and a heroine who is not only strong enough to persevere, after what happened to her, but have a backbone to stand up for herself. There was quite a big of club drama that helped the story move forward but it didn’t overshadow the romance aspect, It enhanced it. Loved seeing the couple from the first book and the little tidbit of who we can expect next. 5 stars #2OCCJD

Dark and Dirty

This book isn’t for the faint of heart because this author throws everything right in your face which makes her books five star reads for me. Rusk and Kiplyn were together ten years ago until Kiplyn walked away after finding him with someone else. Little did she know that she was into something far worse than what she had.

Rusk comes to her after learning of what happened but its hard for Kiplyn to believe that he won’t mess her over again even though what could be worse than what she lived through the last ten years.

This is my kind of MC book with lots of drama, steam, lies, betrays and everything in between.

I love a second chance and throw in an MC. I'm sold!
I was hooked immediately.
Our heroines story broke my heart.
She left our hero when they were young. He was young & dumb and lost the love of his life. A love he never got over.
She ran straight into the arms of HE77!
When they come back into each other lives it was sad She was so broken mentally and physically. She never really got over him but she walked that fine line between love and hate awhile.

Kiplyn & Roadkill

Excellent follow up to DPS! These two have a savage history together from Roadkill betraying his wife several times over. This one is full of drama mixed with several steamy scenes! Hayley never fails to deliver an awesome story! Great read!

1.5 stars. Similar to the first book, the H tries to have a citizen wife and an old lady (this guy hasn’t gotten to that point yet, he’s just fucking everything in sight). Needless to say the h (Kiplyn) finds out, leaves him and ends up with an abusive asshole for TEN years. Overall a depressing and unbelievable HEA.

Here is Roadkill talking about the h’s best friend- “Kiplyn and Reese have been working on her new esthetician room. Reese showed it to me when Kiplyn was in class one afternoon. Reese. Fuck, that is probably the woman who is more my speed. She’s free and easy, happy to fuck and move on with life. She doesn’t ask much, doesn’t require much, and likes hanging around the clubhouse. A no-strings-attached hang-around piece. That is who I should be with, who I should want, but I don’t.” 🙄

Roadkill when’s he’s at another clubhouse, talking about a sweet butt - “ Normally, I would have already taken her up on that, bent her over, and been balls deep inside of her before she even finished her first sentence. However, Kiplyn made it very clear her anger and hatred for me stemmed from me fucking other women.” Isn’t he sweet? See, he’s a changed man. Now after ten plus years of fucking every stripper and club whore he comes in contact with, he’s reining in his desires.

It’s just hard to believe this dude won’t slip up in the future. He is a moron and so is she for being with him. And for the love of all that’s holy, stop having your characters bite their bottom lip in every fucking scene!

Perfect plot, well written, super engaging, and infuriating as well...

This book was intense like the last one in this series.
Loved the main characters, and adored the new ones that appeared.
Super engaging, dark, brutal, and intense.
It was hard to witness some of the scenes, but others melted my heart.
Like I said earlier, some parts of the books were infuriating, so much so, that I wanted to scream.
The hot stuff was awesome and will melt your panties...
Super anxious to see what happens next, because so much is about to happen... Can't wait.
Another awesome book Hayley. Loved it.

It’s been awhile since I’ve read a MC romance by Hayley and ohhh how I’ve missed them!
“Cocky Perfect Storm” was very good! Sucked me in immediately and I couldn’t put it down.
I love a second chance romance- especially when there’s a cocky, hot biker Hero who comes back in the picture and rescues the heroine.
Rusk wasn’t a good boyfriend- and when Kiplyn walked in on him with another girl it drove her directly into the arms of someone else. For ten years she’s lived a life of hell, she thought she was finally free, but her ex wasn’t finished. Rusk always knew there was only ever one girl for him, only one girl he ever loved and would ever. But when he messed up and she walked away, he hated her. But there’s a fine line between love and hate, and when he learns she’s been severely injured, he knows there’s only one thing he can do. He let her walk away once, he’s not about to let it happen again. He was young and dumb back then, and now he’s willing to do anything to prove himself to her.
These two have so much emotional baggage and a past relationship that wasn’t perfect at all. But their love for each other is still there. I loved watching Rusk change and become the man Kiplyn needed. I can’t wait for Piper and Itch’s story next!

"Devil's Hellions MC: Cocky Perfect Storm" ist der zweite Teil der "Devil's Hellions MC" Reihe. Jeder Teil kann vollkommen unabhängig voneinander gelesen werden, jede Geschichte ist abgeschlossen. Aber wie es in einem MC so ist, es gibt immer ein Wiedersehen.



Ich habe die Autorin über eine andere Reihe kennengelernt und war von Anfang an darin verliebt. Nachdem diese Reihe beendet war und dann diese Neue vorgestellt wurde, brauchte ich nicht wirklich lange zu überlegen. Nachdem ich dann den ersten Teil regelrecht durchgesuchtet hatte war ich einfach nur begeistert.



Ich mag Bad Boy Bücher unheimlich gerne, und hier habe ich gleich einen ganzen Motorradclub davon. Wenn dann die Bad Boys in ihrem inneren doch so etwas wie ein weiches Herz haben, zumindestens wenn es um die Frauen in ihrem Leben geht, ist die Geschichte für mich einfach perfekt. Also was soll ich sagen... ich liebe die Reihe ❤❤. Roadkill und auch Kiplyn habe ich von Anfang an, mit all ihren Fehlern, in mein Herz geschlossen.



Der Schreibstil ist wieder wie ich ihn kenne und liebe, einfach toll. Er ist flüssig, spannend und so mitreißend. Einmal damit angefangen kann man es erst wieder aus der Hand legen, wenn es beendet ist. Ich freue mich jetzt schon darauf den nächsten Biker näher kennenzulernen. Dankeschön das ich es lesen durfte.



Als Roadkill erfährt, das seine Ex verletzt im Krankenhaus liegt, steht für ihn sofort fest das er sich um sie kümmern muss. Obwohl er ihr damals das Herz gebrochen hat, ist sie immer noch seine große Liebe. Er setzt alles daran das sie endlich für immer ihm gehört...

Roadkill and Kiplyn had been in love ten years ago, but they ended when she found him cheating. To be honest, this was a classic example of a stupid, young man, too cocky for his own good. Kiplyn wasn't any better either: out of revenge and naivite, she lets herself be fooled by Roadkill's evil cousin and marries him.
Fast forward 10 years, she's finally divorced but the evil ex-husband beats her so bad she ends up in the hospital almost dead. Roadkill had successfully avoided hearing anything about Kiplyn during this time, but now he does and he realizes he never stopped loving her. He also decides it's time she becomes his old lady.
Kiplyn is reluctant to get back with him. Towards the end, there's a separation of about 6 months (brought on by Kiplyn). But he eventually convinces her to accept his version of the future.

I gave it only 3 stars because I wasn't sure if the hero was celibate during their last separation. While I didn't mind all that much that he had cheated in his early twenties, and while I believe he would be faithful while with the heroine, I'm not so sure he was celibate during the separation.

This is not a light read. Some really heavy topics are brought up. Kiplyn has been beaten and s. assaulted by her ex when the story opens. Despite their past, Roadkill is determined to be there for her. The book has a lot of action. But not a lot of resolution. The relationship always seems tenuous, like Kiplyn has one foot out the door. Even though there is an HEA/HFN, there are unresolved issues that I think will lead to problems in the future. It felt like Kiplyn is still unsure, which makes me believe that this is an HFN, not an HEA. YMMV, but I think that more issues need to be addressed before I could recommend this book. Too much was left hanging.

Schon der 1. Band hat mich mitgerissen und ich habe mich in den MC verliebt.
Nun geht es um die Geschichte von Roadkill & Kiplyn.
Beide haben eine gemeinsame Vergangenheit und jetzt ergibt sich eine neue Chance. Werden Sie diese ergreifen?

Der Schreibstil ist angenehm flüssig und wird aus der Perspektive von Roadkill & Kiplyn erzählt. Der Leser kann sie so beide näher kennenlernen und ihre Gedanken und Gefühle erfahren. Die Nebenfiguren kennt man teilweise aus dem ersten Buch.

Die Geschichte ist wieder wie eine Achterbahnfahrt, und man begleitet dieses Mal Roadkill als Mitglied mit seiner Handlung. Er rettet Kiplyn, als sie in Gefahr ist, und will sie nicht noch einmal verlieren. Doch diese ist erst mal sauer, weil beide nicht so gut auseinandergegangen sind. Jetzt aber kommt er wie ein Sturm erneut in ihr Leben und sie müssen alles riskieren. Wieder ein Band aus dieser Reihe, der mich mitgerissen hat.

Das Cover sieht wunderschön aus und ich liebe die Optik.

Ein fesselnder 2. Band aus dieser Reihe.

What happens when 2 broken souls reconnect? Well you get Cocky Perfect Storm. This is a second chance romance that will break your ur heart as well as piece it back together.
When Roadkill finds out that the woman who stole his heart has been terribly hurt he drops what he was doing and goes to her. It doesn't matter that she shattered his heart years prior his first though is to make sure she we be ok. When Kiplyn awakens in the hospital Rusk was the last person she thought she would ever see. She has been through hell and does not want to have to deal with a man from her past who broke her heart. This where the story gets a little gritty. When Roadkill finds out exactly what happened to Kiplyn he takes matters into his own hands.
This story was fast paced dark with a few twist thrown into it. Their story is not full of hearts and flowers, but does contain a broken woman afraid to feel again. A dark and gritty man who refuses to give up what he knows belongs to him.

Roadkill and Kiplyn

For me this book felt a bit rushed. There were scenarios that had no foothold in the story and felt like it was added just for the sake of drama. It didn’t feel organic.
There were times when the ‘where’ didn’t make much sense, e.g one minute Kiplyn was in a kitchen after being taken, then the next minute running out on the street. The writing felt a bit lazy. Which is a shame as in the others books by this author I didn’t feel like that at all.

The premise to the story was good, I just couldn’t connect to Kiplyn. I think because she felt detached, it made me feel detached. The side effect of this is that I never connected emotionally to the story written and just read it as an observer, rather than really feeling anything.
Roadkill I actually really liked. They had their history but he knew exactly what he wanted and went after it.
I may reread it another time.

Enjoying this series! Roadkill and Kiplyn used to be in love when they were young and she thought they would spend their lives together, until she catches him cheating on her and breaks her heart and sends her running to none other than his scummy cousin. As the years go by, Kiplyn stays in the abusive marriage with Roadkill’s cousin while he vows to never settle down. All that changes when Kiplyn is attacked by her now ex-husband and Roadkill finds out, and we see him determined to right everything that went wrong the last time while also fixing everything that happened because of their fallout and keep her safe. I really enjoyed the balance between romance and suspense through the MC, and while some aspects of this MC are different than what I typically read, the bottom line is that they’re all good guys in the end.

Roadkill and Kiplyn share a history in fact Roadkill never got over Kiplyn so 10yrs later when he finds out that she's in the hospital he rushes to get to her. He's devastated to find her beaten to hell and he's going to do whatever he can to make sure that no one can hurt her again. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this action-packed emotional roller-coaster gritty second chance romance to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this exciting book and I'm looking forward to the next book in this exciting series.

For ten years she’s been out of his life but now she’s back unfortunately, the circumstances of her return are devastating.

When Roadkill finds out she’s in the hospital he goes to her and makes the decision that he will not only protect her but he will win her back.

There is so much action, angst and drama going on in this book, it will keep you riveted, turning pages and not wanting to put it down.

This is a great book of second chances and true love.

This is one of my favorite genres… MC .
The men are hot,love their women fiercely and if you are an old lady he and the whole club protects you.
Roadkill ( MC brother) and Kiplyn were together 10 years ago until she found him snd another woman in a compromising position. Kiplyn left Rusk aka Roadkill and ran to his cousin. George was an abusive husband to the point if almost killing her numerous times.
Rusk hears she’s in the hospital resulting from George’s hands and goes to be by her side. Thus starts the continuation of their relationship… at least Roadkill thinks so.
It’s such a beautiful lovers to haters to lovers relationship. In other words a full circle of loving someone. Hating said someone. Then loving him again.

This was a great 5 star read. I really liked Kiplyn and Roadkill. Their journey definitely wasn’t easy, there were several things that added a great element to their story. Kiplyn had a past that tugged at my heartstrings and watching Roadkill develop into someone she really needed was great. Both characters were strong in their own rights and with the history they had it was nice seeing them work things out. With the club drama it feels like you have more than one story going on. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. I look forward to reading more from this series and author. 1-click and get started today.

This is the second book in this incredible series, and this is Roadkill and Kiplyn’s journey. These two have a history and are destined to cross paths again many years later, but they both have emotional baggage weighing heavily on their shoulders, and Roadkill will risk everything to ensure that Kiplyn is safe and protected. This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with angst, suspense, danger, intrigue, second chances, challenges, twists, loyalty, tension, heartbreak, and love, which lead to a steamy and addictive page turner, which is not for the faint-at-heart.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Lots of twists and turns in this biker tale, making it hard to judge who is friend or foe. But one thing Roadkill knows is that he never stopped loving Kiplyn, who left him ten years previous when she caught him cheating. When she ends up brutalized by her ex-husband, Roadkill makes certain she knows he will stand by her no matter what. But can he convince this independant survivor that she can trust him with her heart?

The book has sex, drugs, violence, but also introspection, respect, and caring. I look forward to the next installment in this series.

If you are new to Hayley’s MC books and expecting to the H to be a perfect hero…well her stories are the wrong place for you. Don’t get me wrong they are possessive, hot and cocky. But they are not a knight in shining armor. Roadkill is the perfect example.

This is Roadkill’s second chance with Kiplyn. He screwed up years ago. Does he really feel like he screwed up when he was living up the MC life? Only time will tell. He does know Kiplyn should have always been his and his mistake put her in the path of a psycho that almost killed her.

This story has angst, anger and chemistry flowing off the pages. I can guarantee you will both love and hate Roadkill by the time it’s done.

Love the Devil's Hellions MC is a bad-ass series. There is action, danger, betrayal. drama and not only that there is also plenty of steam. We are taken into the life of Kiplyn and Roadkill who had a history together and now that he has found out she is in the hospital and is doing everything he can to protect her and make sure no one can harm her and goes to find her to the perpetrator. It is an emotional roller coaster of feelings and events and the fight for a second chance at love. This series is highly recommended.

This is a second chance romance with Kiplyn and Roadkill who were a couple ten years ago until he cheats on her and his slimy cousin romances her into marriage with him. She endured tens years of abuse from George until she divorces him and he comes back almost beating her to death. When Roadkill finds out he goes to the hospital only for her to send him away but he stays around to help her but the first thing he did was to take care of George. She still does not trust him to be faithful to her but he is determined to prove to her he has matured and wants forever with her.

The next book in the Devil’s Hellions MC series has a number of twists turns and moments of agony. Of course there are also seriously sexy moments, and even some times when readers will want to let out a giant “Awww.” As expected, these are bad men with good hearts for those they feel loyal to, and Rusk definitely feels loyal to Kiplyn, and has for a decade. Roadkill, doesn’t love an easy or “clean” life but when it comes to the woman he has always loved, he will risk anything and everything for her safety, security, and heart!

Such a wonderful second chance romance!!

Roadkill still thinks about Kiplyn. They were together over 10 years ago, and he did something she could not forgive that made her leave him and end up in the arms of a cruel man.

When Roadkill finds out she is in the hospital, he decides he'll get her back and protect her. This story is full of action, suspense, and a total emotional roller. This book had my emotions all over the place.

Roadkill and Kiplyns story is so heartbreaking. This fast paced, second chance romance is emotional, intense, and as always with this author, a beautiful story. Their journey isn't easy of course. Mistakes were made their first time around and Roadkill/Rusk is determined he isn't going to make the same mistake twice. Cocky Perfect Storm is about love, redemption and forgiveness. With two strong characters and their desire to set things right both for themselves and each other we have another fantastic read from this author.

Perfect title for this book...Kiplyn & Rusk and their stormy relationship. They were a thing years ago and then they weren't. Kiplyn made a really bad choice and paid the price, she had the cr*p beaten out of her and this is where Rush (Roadkill) finds her in the hospital. It's one of those stories you can't put down, so many things going on. Kiplyn and her battered life and Roadkill facing his feelings and love for her. And wait there's danger ahead for both of them. Hayley Faiman never disappoints with her MC books. Can't wait for the next book.
