Another great addition to this series that I’m getting more and more obsessed with! I loved getting a further glimpse into Ryan and Mia’s turbulent relationship and finally getting some answers about plot twists from book 1 & 2
Having said that I did feel like Ryan’s and Mia’s relationship didn’t have enough issues anymore to take the lead. I felt like a lot of their issues were insignificant and didn’t have the enough amount of angst for me. I would have preferred to see other couples becoming more of the focus like Mason and Shya or Derek and Sophia. I hope they get more of the focus in the next few books.
But this book really was a great addition to the series. Packed with action, betrayal, revenge and a crazy cliffhanger ending!! I cannot wait for book 4!!
I highly recommend this series is you are a paranormal romance fan that is looking for their next series and characters to obsess about! This series has it all shifters, romance, betrayal, action, revenge, and loveable characters you won’t be able to get enough of!

I've been really enjoying this series and I've actually binged books 2, 3, and 4 back to back so and 3 reviews will be coming back to back grouped together with a bunch of other reviews.
Renegade Mate is the second book in the Rescued Mate series, and I have fallen in love with not only this series but also with Kira Nightengale and her writing.
I was really looking forward to reading this book after I finished reading Runaway Mate which was the first book in the series and with that cliffhanger I was really glad that I didn't have a long wait as the 2nd and 3rd books were already out and I could just jump right in and binge them back to back. Thankfully, this book picks up right where the first book left off, so I knew right away that I was in for another crazy ride.
And I was right, hoy boy, was this an insanly crazy ride. Thankfully there was less angst in this book then the first book but that does not stop it from still having the same action that the first book has and believe me, you are not going to be able to let alone want to put this book down. I loved the mystery element that it has and how the sub-plots from the first book are drawn over into this book.
I do like the tension and chemistry between Mai and Ryan and their relationship and how it feels real with the angst. I also enjoyed seeing them as the Alpha couple as this new renegade pack. They don't have a perfect relationship, and they do clash, which is to be expected, but I loved reading about their makeup sessions.
I also loved seeing the development of the other new relationshops in this book and into the series. Declan and Sofia give me all the feels. I recommend that you read the novella before the books so it all makes more sense to you. Sign up for Kira's newsletter, and you'll get it for free.

I read 4 books straight after each other and therefor it is a bit difficult to remember where which book end and the next started so I am doing a review on the entire story.
Please read the trigger warnings as there is on and off page abuse happening.
This is once gain a story with a very strong FMC and for every strong FMC you need a strong MMC. And this is true for all these books. Each tell their own story with new main characters but all the characters stays there throughout the books and creates a story line, so it is not recommended to read them as standalone.
This is a great shifters romance about family and friends but also about loyalty and trust. Sacrifices are made for the greater good of the packs. I had quite a few different emotions during this story but I was always kept interested and on edge. The timeline I ran through these 4 books should indicate that I couldn't stop reading.

There are so many things happening in this story. I am loving that there are twists and turns that I never would have guessed. Each secret you unveil leads to either more questions or more secrets. So many heart pounding moments.
Can Ryan ad his wolf find a balance that will keep Mai safe but not suffocate her? Will we discover the truth about Ripple? Will we be forced to nominate Brock for the Wolf Council or can we find a way around that? Can we find a way to make our pack strong and united once again?
I'm so in love with these characters and can not wait to see what crazy stuff is still to come.

Mai and Ryan have a long list of things to do. They are the new Alpha pair and need to decide what kind of alphas they want to be, they need to investigate the new drug that is ravaging shifter communities, they need to deal with Brock's attempt to blackmail his way onto the council, and they need to figure out how to navigate their own mating bond.
I really enjoyed this book and thought that it was well written. There were so many twists and turns and I loved how you couldn't quite predict how things were going to turn out. I also really loved getting to see how Ryan and Mai tried to balance his need to protect her with her independent spirit. I wish that we could have seen a little more of that though because the resolution felt a bit unfinished. The book ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what will happen next!

Another 5⭐️ read by Kira! I can’t get enough of these books. I enjoyed how Ryan and Mai came together, growing and maturing more as a couple. That was one of my major favorite aspects of this book. The vengeance that I was hoping for, I definitely got! Just not in the way I was expecting, but still very satisfying.
Putting the pieces together to identify the major enemy was so fun, figuring out, was fantastic. I won’t go into detail, you have to read and find out.
Following Three Rivers has been amazing, this is bittersweet for me regarding Ryan and Mai moving on with their lives now moving forward.
You can bet I’m sticking around to follow along on eveyone else’s journey!

This is the third book by Kira and whilst I enjoyed it, it probably wasn’t my favourite! It also took me a lot longer to read and I wasn’t reaching for it all the time.
I like the story of how Mia and Ryan had to work their way through being Alphas and a new couple and the death of a brother and everything else but for me it lacked the love story running throughout.
I loved seeing the interactions of the other characters and love blossoming too and I also like how Mia took control - just wish there was more spice!!!
I would recommend and will read the next one but book one remains my favourite!

Wow! I was lucky enough to read this book early and it definitely didn't disappoint. Mai and Ryan are such a great couple learning their mated bond, learning how to be the new Alphas, and trying to fix their pack. This couple has been through the ringer going from one dangerous situation to another. I absolutely loved Ryan and Mai's love story and seeing where this trilogy ends. I can't wait to read Mason and Shya's books next!! Spice level was 3 and there is very little in this book, but what is there is great. Would definitely recommend this trilogy to anyone who loves shifter smut books!

I loved this book. We got the end to Mai and Ryan’s story. Full of action and adrenaline. I loved seeing more of all of them working as a team to protect each other. I love that we got to see a little bit more of the dynamic between Sofia and Dereck. I can’t wait for their book!!! I love the introduction to some new characters. Cliffhanger ending but a great setup for the next book in the series. Can’t wait to read about the brothers next.

It was okay. Alittle long, kinda wished it got to the point sooner. Would’ve liked to see more depth/growth in Ryan and Mai. Maybe them starting a family in the epilogue or seeing them make an impact on the town/pact. I know they fought a war which was important but throughout the book it kept talking about how their people didn’t trust them and they would work on it after the war. Would’ve like to see some things before.

Yet another incredible book by Kira! The plot in Kira's books is always incredible, and that continues here. From dealing with Brock, the massive cliffhanger in book 2😉, the council, their mating bond, and the new drug problem...this book always kept me on the edge of my seat and biting my nails. If you love a romance with a strong plot, this book is for you!!

Great story
After reading book 1 to 3, I can honestly say that I enjoyed the story of Ryan and Mai. Looking forward to book number 4 and hope it will measure up to the other ones.
Kira Nightingale is doing a great job, I didn't read any of her books before this series, but will definitely catch up with whatever else she wrote.

This is a 4.5 Star read
I enjoyed the book but there was a few things I didn't like in the book.
Loved the romance between Mai and Ryan!!!!!
I also didn't like Hailey in this book also
I hated Brock too and what he was doing pack in this book.
but I am so happy that her brother is still alive and they are helping him get better.
Loved the doctor and his mate and I also loved Ryan's brothers also too.
And I can't wait to read the next book and find out what happens next in this series.

OMG! This book! So much went on. So many things coming to an end to just turn around and more problems arise. Mai and Ryan went through so much together. They came out the other side so much stronger. I loved this book! I have to find out if Mason can save his fated mate in the next book!

Loved it!! A fast paced action packed book filled with revenge and bloody battles!! Fated Mates working together and dangerous deals with the Dark Goddess.. leaves you needing more.. cannot wait for the next book and Mason and Shya story!!

This book brings as to the end of Ryan and Mai but following the cookie crumbs I think we can expect some more from Three Rivers and some sexy brothers. This wrapped up the lingering items from Mai and Ryan while still leaving you to look forward to what's going to happen next in Three Rivers.

This series is purely addictive in a good way. You sit and can’t get enough. And the story is so memorable. When the author was writing this and I was waiting on publication I didn’t have to reread the other books it just came flowing back to me.

This book is pretty good, i truly feeling like the first 3 books could have been put in one book. But it was pretty interesting, i never knew what to expect and what would happen: I am worried that they are changing the main characters in the next book.

I’m so glad that I got to read this book early. I really like the new characters. I like the growth of the other characters. I’m glad that Mia and Ryan were more comfortable with each other. The 2nd book left on a cliffhanger and so did this one. I’m excited for more!

OMG ! Kira Nightingale has done it again ! Resolute Mate is better than the first two books in the series ! Mai and Ryan are put to the test in trying to find Jem ( if he’s alive) before time runs out on nominating Brock ( the villain) for the seat on The Council. Everything that can go wrong does, they end up in several situations that cause injury or death to the people they care about, even new characters such as Amara and Esme ( the little witch who is involved in the drug Ripple, but not because she wants to be) are weighed in the balance of Pack over a single life and every decision has major consequences. This is an unputdownable read ! So be prepared to lose 6 hours of your life into reading book 3 of a series that keeps getting better every book and even though it ends on a huge cliffhanger, I still give it 5✨’s ! The cliffhanger is a doozy and o can’t wait for book 4 !

Another book I have enjoyed that has been Kira. Another easy read. I loved seeing Mira and Ryan's relationship grow and get tested while they navigate being the Alpha's. There is spice and suspense in this book and I loved it.

It really sucks that I need to wait until May next year before I can continue this series. Next time I'll check that all the books are available before starting a series.
