Dive into a tale of ambition, romance, and second chances in "Falling for the Billionaire," a workplace romance where love and business collide in the most unexpected ways.
I really loved the story between Adrian and Alessandra, I love that Alessandra is a really strong and fierce fmc. That carries the whole book for me. I like the aspects of true life with her debt, her mothers illness and her struggles over all. I love her best friend in the book and how she's always there for her.
The book has some drama in the office, but also some thrilling aspects when it comes to Adrians enemies.
I love that there is some spice in the book but it doesn't take over the whole thing. I comes natural in the book and it fits with the story.
Overall this book is a 5 star read for me, however the ending confused me - I thought it was a standalone but the ending is very open and is leaving more for a second book about the same couple. By no means is this negative - Alessandra is by far my favorite fmc ever!
I would love to read more books from Danyelle and I do hope that a book 2 will be written about Adrian and Alessandra.
Cute book that reminds me of a hallmark movie. Read it in one day. Does end on a cliffhanger. There are some spicy scenes. Recommend this book for those that like easy to read cute office romance novels. Can’t wait for the next one.

This was an amazing book. I loved the characters and how strong the main female character was. This book had a great story line and I would love to read more from this author.
Tropes: Grumpy x sunshine ☀️ Boss x PA ☀️ Billionaire romance ☀️ Office romance ☀️
I liked how Alessandra could handle herself and the business. It was great to see a strong FMC who was competent and self-assured, yet still vulnerable and relatable. Alessandra's ability to manage the demands of a high-stakes job while dealing with personal challenges made her a compelling and admirable character.
The story starts off quite ordinary, focusing on the daily struggles of the main characters. Alessandra is caring for her sick mother and facing constant job rejections until her mother encourages her to take a risk and so she applies to a big company. Adrian, on the other hand, is having trouble finding a good personal assistant. Everyone he interviews seems superficial until he comes across Alessandra's unique application. He arranges an interview, and from there, the story unfolds.
Adrian was captivated by Alessandra from the first glance at her, and his interest only deepened after truly getting to know her which I absolutely loved.
I found the beginning of the story to be slow, and I wasn’t very engaged in the first half of the book however the second half made up for it when Alessandra girl bossed.
I was very confused by the end because I thought it was a standalone novel. However, this also presents a good opportunity to expand and improve the story in future installments.
I really really loved this book. Alessandra was such a headstrong and powerful FMC. The character development in this book was done so masterfully and I fell in love with the relationships that were introduced. Not only did Alessandra and her mom’s relationship pull on my heart strings but so did Cassie and Alessandra’s mom’s relationship. It was actually so heartwarming to read about such a strong friendship and how much Cassie loves not only her best friend but her best friends mom. I can’t believe I haven’t seen more reviews talking about this because for me? It was one of my favorite things about this book!🩷
Adrian, Adrian, Adrian. Man, at first I wasn’t certain that I liked him. Some of the underlying controlling qualities about him felt a little much but as the story progressed I really enjoyed how he not only opened up to Alessandra but recognized his negative qualities and tried to work on them in order to save their relationship.
Overall the writing in this book was very well done to me. The character development and pacing was spot on. I never felt bored or found myself screaming “get to the point”. The most important thing to discuss? The ending! I read this book 7 days ago and for that entire time I left it at 99% read with a note: ‘DANYELLE YOU DID NOT JUST END THE BOOK LIKE THIS??!!! I’m flabbergasted….’ …I definitely needed time to recover and remind myself that there’s another book coming😂
In the end, I recommend this book/ book series and cannot wait for the next one!
Thank you so much to the author, Danyelle Rose, for the ARC copy of this book. As always, this is my honest opinion.
This was a good story about Adrian and Alessandra. Adrian hires Alessandra as his assistant as she has a personality as well as smarts. They had great chemistry and I was so glad to watch them get together. Adrian has a bit of a hidden soft heart that he hides well. He may not have always made the best of decisions but he is trying to be a good person. He just has some secrets. Alessandra is a strong independent woman who is able to stand up to the pressures of working for Adrian. But her stubborn insistence on her independence actually became really hard for me to handle. Even though we are never given a reason to know why she thinks this way-she is so certain that letting Adrian help means he is going to take over every aspect of her life. I just don’t get it as Adrian has never given her a reason not to trust him at this point in the story. It had me dropping it down to a 4.5 stars because of it. Then I got to the end and it was a cliff hanger. Thankfully not a hugely intense one, like in the middle of a huge fight or accident, but there are now a lot of situations that have to be taken care of and figured out, and you aren’t even certain Alessandra is going to stay with Adrian. I don’t like cliff hangers and since I wasn’t expecting it, it did lower my enjoyment of the story. But I know some people enjoy or are able to handle cliff hangers and enjoy stubborn women so please read this and decide for yourself. It was good. Just not one I will reread myself. I received an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Alessandra is taking care of her sick mother and struggling to pay the bills. Adrian is looking for an assistant to help take on more responsibilities at his company. There's a little bit of a Cinderella moment where they actually lock eyes at a club before they meet each other. Adrian spends a lot of time thinking of the woman he sees at the club. It was wild to me that it took him so long to recognize her when he was so "obsessed" with her, but Alessandra recognized him off the bat. Alessandra's mom and bestie push her into applying for a job she feels underqualified for, and - tada! Adrian is her mystery man.
They spend some time resisting each other before finally giving in. The whole time I was screaming at Alessandra OH MY GOSH LET THIS MAN LOVE YOU AND TAKE CARE OF YOU but she was so stuck on being her own independent woman, even though she was struggling to afford her mom's cancer treatment.
I hated the way it ended. The cliff was very steep, and there were SO many loose ends. It felt really abrupt. I hope she makes Adrian grovel some, though.
I loved the side characters. Adrian's sister Victoria was hilarious. Cassie was such a great bestie. And I definitely want to know what's going on with Max and Angela 👀
Get comfortable once you start this one you won’t stop until the last page has been turned. I AM GOING TO SAY THIS I HATE CLIFFHANGERS ….OKAY I FEEL BETTER 😊. Alessandra is sweet isn’t afraid of a little hard work despite the odds against her she is currently drowning in debt trying to take care of her mother working several jobs and getting rejections letters left and right, but it doesn’t stop her from applying. One day she gets an unexpected offer to interview for the position as personal assistant to a powerful billionaire, something so far out of her comfort zone but the pay will be worth it. Adrian sexy as all get out billionaire who plays by his own rules with a reputation of being cold, uncaring to most, powerful, hard to work with, and yet the moment he interviews the amazing Alessandra he knows she is perfect for the job but of course he can’t let her know that he has to test her to ensure she is as tough as he knows she is and he is the one to prove it. The magnetic pull between these two started in the club continued in the work place the more professional they worked to be the stronger the pull between them grew but with his secrets where are they headed with a mother who happens to always have her back as her best friend and a boss who will ensure the best for her well can’t wait to see where this goes maybe happiness?
Brilliant reading from a new author to me . I do like the writing it’s pretty much immersive from first look.we met Allesandra who is down on her luck and drowning in debt while also caring for mum.Adrian Blackwood is getting through personal assists like they’re going out of fashion, with his fiery demeanour and grumpy trait he’s hard to get on with at any rate. When yet another fly gets caught in his web though , he can’t get rid so easily. Allesandra will put up with the angst and all he metes out even the misery. He’s a billionaire, what does he care about a lowly woman who has nothing in the way of hard cash? But that was before this enigma and now it’s a nine yard dash! She’s warm and sincere and a breath of fresh air and has the galls. Could she be the one who breaks down his walls. Well she’s nothing to lose and plenty to prove , because she needs this job and does everything she can to make him approve. This was epic and I didn’t want it to end …which it hasn’t quite as I’m left hanging and waiting for more . All I can say is encore please Dannyelle Rose I want some more. Great writing and epic journey , very good storytelling. Leaving my review voluntarily in my own words.
Falling for the Billionaire is a Contemporary romance that finds MFC Alessandra actively seeking employment as she struggles to care for her ill mother and the bills pile up. Luckily she has a best friend who always has her back and is a great comfort and help to her in these trying times. When she finally gets a job as personal assistant to billionaire Adrían Blackwood things start to look up as does the attraction that begins to form between them. This workplace romance was just an ok read for me and really didn’t stand out in any major ways. The writing was ok with corporate intrigue, drama, personal vulnerabilities, and romance. I found the ending a little disappointing as it rather felt as if there should have been more to it because it revolved around the leads breaking up and maybe getting back together? First time author for me but unfortunately this story wasn’t the one that ticked all the right boxes for feels and immersive reading.

Adrian Blackwood and Alessandra Devereux have seen each other before, but it's not until she applies for a job with Blackwood Industries that she recognises him. It doesn't appear that he recognises her so when she gets the job she's thrilled as it will solve so many financial problems for her. When Adrian finally does recognise her he's determined to make her his. Over time they become closer and closer and work well together but there are secrets and external forces trying to keep them apart. When Adrian drops a bombshell towards the end of the book it tests both of them. Will they be able to overcome their issues? We won't find out in this book as it ends on a cliffhanger, something I hate, particularly as I didn't know about it.
Although very easy to read I would have liked more in depth character development, not only of the main characters, but also of the secondary ones, and more background history and information.

The blurb of this book sounded right up my street so I signed up to arc read it as I love a good billionaire romance 🥰 however the writing for me just didn’t quite hit right.
The story flows well but it seems a little rushed, especially the sexy scenes, which seem as if the writer was uncomfortable writing them, in turn making me as the reader feel uncomfortable reading them.
There are quite a few skimmed over weeks and the burning passion they have for each other doesn’t really translate, due to the periods of where it’s skimmed over how they act around each other at work. The relationship between the two main characters feels flimsy and lacking, not a lot of development of feelings, I don’t feel the connection I should be feeling between these two people.
The side characters however are great and would love to know more about them, they are fun, sassy and give a nice balance to the main characters.
As for the ‘ending’ it comes to a very abrupt cliffhanger with no resolution, feeling like we have stopped in the middle of a chapter.
I really wanted to love this book, but sadly it’s just not doing it for me.
I feel disappointed with this story. The plot line wasn't very original and was full of ridiculous twist, there were plenty of predictable clichés and other issues, but it was entertaining till the end. I also enjoyed the overall writing style that made reading easy.
But: I had the impression that the author never worked in a corporate environment. Her description of how companies work was vague at best. Her world building was generic. Both protagonists were acting uncharacteristic to their descriptions and their own opinions of themselves. Besides growling, there was no real proof of Adrian's badass character. I would rather say that based on his behavior, he wasn't a very bright or headstrong CEO, but he had a high opinion of himself and a small problem with micromanagement.
For those who enjoy simple stories full of hot scenes - this is a book for you. I read it till the end, but I prefer a more realistic approach to world building and better plot line. 3 stars.
"Falling for the Billionaire” by Danyelle Rose is a captivating romance that expertly combines beloved tropes such as office romance, billionaire love stories, and the grumpy/sunshine dynamic. At its heart, this book tells the story of a strong, independent woman who finds herself entangled in the complexities of love, fate, and power dynamics.
The book delves into themes of power dynamics, both in the workplace and in personal relationships. The office romance and billionaire themes add layers of tension and intrigue, while the grumpy/sunshine dynamic underscores the transformative power of love and understanding.
Danyelle Rose’s writing is both engaging and empowering. This is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a love story where strength and vulnerability go hand in hand.
Would love to learn more about the side characters though in the coming books!.

I felt the spark Adrian described when he first saw Alessandra. The tension in the office is desperately felt throughout.
Alessandra is a caring daughter who prioritizes doing everything within her power to care for her sick mother. Her mom is a real champion about being sick and still cares about her daughter’s progression in life.
I feel a true future starting to form with Adrian and Alessandra when he orders the roses and lilies. He really puts himself out there to declare his feelings. How he embraces her little family would win anyone over.
Things got messy at the end of the book and I am on pins and needles wondering how this cliff hanger is going to work itself out.
This read fits the office workplace model and definitely has elements of medical strung throughout. I would caution those sensitive to cancer as it may stir emotions on that topic.

First, there's no amount of words to commence the love that allessandra has towards her mom. Second, how sweet it is to know that someone is there when everything gets rough. Adrian, ughh why most of those billionaire type of guy has some issues with their past and their current relationship. He is not a man for being honest from the start. I was about to ask for the ending of the story to find out it's just book 1..Adrian and allessandra I hope on the next phase they will be more honest and learn how to discuss their differences. It is not wrong to seek help especially allessandra,if she wants to be with Adrian then she has to learn how to depend on him.its not all about financial aspect but having someone giving you advice or a piece of their mind is also nice.

This was a great book for contemporary romance lovers. The chemistry between the main characters is great. They have a great relationship. It’s a boss and assistant relationship with different personalities. Alessandra is an independent woman that is taking care of her sick mom and doing anything she can to get her the care she needs. Adrian is a dominant, boss, billionaire who needs an assistant that can compliment him and handle his personality. Alessandra’s mom asks her to take a risk and she applies for the job. The story line is easy to follow and I love the changes in the characters throughout. The cliffhanger at the end though… I’m glad there’s a book 2!.

This is a sweet workplace romance. They struggle for independence and dominance but seem truly care for each other. There is a bit of mystery/ drama aspect to keep the story interesting. It's a quick, simple read that you don't have to keep your brain on high alert the whole time. I think my only criticism would be that I would like more details about "the drama" and in-between moments with the characters lol. But I'm the person who needs to know all the details about everything. Hope a book 2 comes out soon so we can know more....

This book was a slow burn love story about a billionaire and independent FMC who needs a high paying job to help with her mom's medical expenses. The MMC hires her as his assistant even though he has feeling for her but fights them for a long time since she is such as asset to his business. The characters evolve as the story goes on so you feel like we you know them at the end.
The one thing I did not like about this book was the ending or the lack there of. The book just seems to end without the two many characters resolving their differences and giving the readers closure.

I liked how both Adrian and Allessandra were written as characters and by the end they both has admitted their feelings for each other. Allesandra is busy taking care of her mom while wanting to find a job to pay all the bills, when her friend takes her out for the evening. That is where she sees Adrian and not too long after he has hired her to be his assistant. Their feelings grow as they continue to work very well together and while reading I kept wondering when they will admit their feelings to themselves and each other.

Falling for the Billionaire has all the makings of a great romance: an intriguing premise, glamorous settings, and plenty of swoon-worthy moments. The FMC had moments of real charm, and fans of billionaire romances can find the escapism they’re looking for with her while she finds balance in work life and taking care of her sick mother. Although I didn’t connect as much with the MMC’s internal dialogue, I still appreciated his protectiveness and loyalty. This book appeals to readers who love dramatic, high-stakes romance with a dash of luxury.

Falling For The Billionaire by Danyelle Rose was a great quick page turner. The MMC and FMC meshed really well, I could feel the connection between the two right from the get go.
I’m not going to spoil anything but a couple things happened in the book that I didn’t expect at all and I liked that a lot! Although some areas of the book were predictable I didn’t mind that at all.
It was a good palette cleanser that I needed since I’m in a book slump!.

Having the pov of both main characters in this story helps keep the story going. Both characters are fully developed and you can’t help but want to keep reading to find out how the story is moving along. The added spicy scenes between Adrian and Alessandra bring their relationship into a brighter light and add a different side to their stories. Overall, a quick, slow burn, spicy read that has me wondering where the story is going to go next.

The first chapter took me a little bit to get into, but once I got into it I couldn't put it down....that was until after the airplane scene. After that the writing style seemed to change and everything seemed so forced and rushed (and the smut seemed like a 16 year old boy's fantasy) that I had to force myself to not add this title to my DNF list. I really wish I could have liked it more because Alessandra and Adrian had such great chemistry and honestly even the plot was great up until after that part of the book.

Get ready to unlock the magical romance part of yourself when you read this good book by Danyelle. It is the very first book I have read by her, and she has a way with words to captivate you from start to finish. Make no mistake I will read more books of hers because Alessandra and Adrian's characters in this story are unforgettable and romantic. The book ended a little different than I expected it to, but it was still good.
If you want to read an easy, quick book - then this might be the one for you.
It was definitely not a book for me, as there were too many things that didn’t get explained. The storyline seemed a bit rushed at times, and I would have preferred less plot twists, but more details on the ones in the book.
I would say that the book can be read by all, as there is no smut, violence or other triggers in the book.
Tropes: workplace romance, billionaire MMC, second chance romance
I really liked the premise of the story but I would have like it to have been more in-depth. I like Alessandra and Adrian but did have a hard time connecting with them. I enjoyed the the side characters, both were a hoot. The ending was a let down though. Now it may have stated it ends in a cliffhanger and I just didn't read it and if this is the case I apologize. If you like a light read with some spice then this book is for you.
I liked this book! Alessandra was a very independent woman, sometimes I wished she let Adrian help her a little bit. Adrian is a grumpy boss but melts for Alessandra. I liked the storyline, at first it seems like a simple love story, but as the story progressed, more suspense and secrets emerged. That did make the story more interesting. I loved the side characters. The book ended abruptly with a cliffhanger, I’m curious for the next book!
It was a pretty good read. It started off promising but got a bit weighed down by the female main character not wanting help from the main character. Also, the plot twist at the end was frustrating and seemed to come out of nowhere. The ending was very abrupt and almost like maybe the story isn’t finished although it said nothing like to be continued.
