A Must Read
Wow!! I don’t know how this author can keep coming up with five star plus books. Maverick was Hallow from the RBMC previously and now he is finally getting what he deserves. Lexi is an attorney who meets Maverick at a biker rally and things really take off from there. There are secrets, betrayals, drama and steam in this book that made this a one sit read for me. It was fantastic watching Hallow/Maverick finally getting a much-deserved HEA.
If you want an amazing book that won’t let you put it down, this is definitely a book for you.

Why oh why didn’t I look at spoilers? The blurb sounded good girl loves romance novels, mom calls for help and she has young stud MC member on her arm. I guessed from the blurb that the H was not really with the mom.
What I was not expecting was that he was super attracted to h (that part yes) that he hooks up with a random woman fucks her while thinking of h. Meanwhile h comes finds mom dead and catches h in another tent with ow mid sex. She is condom wet dick after he pulls out of ow.
He tells her he was never with her mom and she just forgets he just fucked some random. No talk of STDs. It was over the top drama his ex wife comes back he leaves with she thinks he chose her she goes on and short story gets blackmailed into marrying some guy. Then the pregnancy tossed in there and it’s the H he comes back to get her.
They do DNA test h is the daughter of his former MC president whose wife is also the H’s ex and who he also took off and married his woman. Keeping it all in the family.
Overall it was a mess a lot of unnecessary drama. No STD talk and the sex with OW was a really gross way to try and add extra drama but it did not end up being a huge plot point so why do it? It just made the H seem like a douche that did not care who he was fucking. It lessened the attraction he was supposed to have felt to the h. Disappointed.

This book was well-written and I hated it.
Let me explain…
In Morgan Jane’s RBMC world, there are no Happily Ever Afters. Just Happily for Nows. A pair of characters might be all loved up, might be engaged, might even be married and two books later, someone has a major personality change and BOOM! One or both either split the scene or get with somebody else. This is Maverick’s (aka Hallow) third woman and third Happily… with a new and shiny partner.
Maverick himself alternates between being a protective alphamallow and a steaming Alphahole, depending on the book. In this one, he is a sweetheart (most of the time) although a little bit not too swift (*cough* Sky *cough*).
Eve has left Hallow/Maverick for Kingpin (my opinion of Kingpin is unprintable), Sky, who changed personalities and suddenly got with Hallow so that Kingpin would be free to get with Eve, has left Hallow/Maverick for the mob and I never got the vibe that she would do that in the first book featuring her, just saying.
So the newly minted Maverick is single again, and an Alphamallow again. And there’s another woman who needs his protection/help/male body parts.
*sigh*
At this point I need a scorecard.
Lexi is fun, although she is sometimes giving TSTL. She seems like a nice enough person, and Maverick seems to be really into her. There is a good scene where they are having sexual relations for the first time and it doesn’t go instantly smoothly. She’s a virgin, and there are certain complications that come with that, and this is addressed. She is also not automatically an expert at the sexytime. That’s why I liked the scene; it was realistic.
But I don’t feel like I can trust any HEA/HFN that Morgan Jane puts out there, and I can’t even trust the characters to be consistent from book to book, so I’m left feeling unsatisfied by MAVERICK.

This is not your typical MC book and it is very dark so if you're looking for something short and sweet, this is not the one for you. It helps to read the Royal Bastards MC: Nashville, TN chapter or at least Hallow before this book as there is a lot of history about Maverick (Hallow) in them. It can be read as a standalone but you won't get to know many of the other characters in the book. Maverick is a tortured soul tasked with 'guarding' Lexi's mother, Dirty Diana at a MC rally. Lexi, who is attending Motorcycles, Mobsters, and Mayhem gets a frantic call from her mother asking her to come to the MC rally as she is in danger. Soon Lexi, Maverick, Nova (Lexi's friend), and Chigger (Maverick's club brother) are on the run from those who, having already killed her mother, want Lexi dead too. There is drama, mystery, action, suspense, and of course hunky bikers. Without giving any spoilers, I was puzzled as to why testing wasn't done before the end but then I guess there wouldn't have been a book. You'll understand this when you read the book.
Eventually, Maverick and Lexi get their HEA or maybe just HFN ending but there are lots of ups and downs before this happens. You will need plenty of kleenex and the ability to love a very flawed hero to finish this book but in the end, it will be worth it.

Time progression. I like how the author recaps the previous background to being the reader up to date. Maverick, a former Columbus, OH detective named August Adam Hart, formerly known as Hallow in Kingpin’s of the RBMC, Nashville, TN chapter, is now with Road Monsters, Lebanon, Kansas chapter. Maverick runs away to another chapter monitored by one of the four aces to avoid all the heartache and drama caused by the betrayal of his RBMC brothers, former fiancée Eve with their miscarriage and to losing her to Kingpin; then Maverick marrying Kingpin’s wife Sky only to have a miscarriage as well. Sky leaves to be with her child’s baby daddy, a mobster. This story ties up loose ends and it’s chaotic. A hit is placed on Dirty Diana and Lexi Bryan, who is a newly minted attorney. We find out who put out the bulletin. Lexi doesn’t know who her biological father is (which we later find out), doesn’t know about the mob hit, and is content to live in biker smut romances. Only her best friend, Nova, and her leave a book extravaganza to save Lexi’s mom, Diana where only the plots thickens. I couldn’t put the story down because so much going on. I felt a huge exhale when I finished because wow, what a ride! However Lexi and Maverick do get their happy ending. I do like how the author was able to articulate and explain the mayhem without causing confusion for the reader. I received a copy from BookFunnel to voluntarily leave an honest review.

A few things ruined this book for me that could have been a 5 star read. The blurb sounded good but it was messy and illogical. First is h and H meet he is super attracted to her but hooks up with OW fucks her several times in a tent and the h catches them mid fuck see the H was supposed to be watching out for the h’s Mom but I stead hooks up with this OW. The mom is murdered while he is busy fucking. So first he was so attracted to the h he fucks this OW several times. Anyway so starts their story it’s a lot of things going on the mystery of who killed the mom, his mc issues he left one mc he had a ex then he ran off with the prez’s wife. The h’s friend is along for the ride and the H and h hook up then his ex comes back he leaves with her h thinks he made his choice she ends up being pregnant and marries this other guy she was sort of stuck. Anyway H comes back finds out about baby she finds her husband cheating and he becomes abusive etc. then her father ends up being the prez of mc that H ran away with his wife. Keeping it all in the family. There were to many plot points and it was a little all over the place. Did not really believe that the H was truly in love with the h. The start of him fucking random did not help build a good base.

Maverick is a suspenseful and definitely a page turning MC romance which I found to be quite entertaining and enjoyable to read. This novel follows the journey of Lexi and Maverick. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. This book is phenomenally written, amazingly balanced and beautifully executed by Morgan Jane Mitchell. Morgan Jane Mitchell continues to show what a phenomenal author, storyteller and writer she is with each book I have read by her so far. Each book, including this one, has been an absolute pleasure to read. In my opinion, this author puts her all into the stories she creates and writes for her audience’s enjoyment. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Lexi and Maverick as well as witnessing their story come to fruition through the pages of this fantastic MC romance. I would absolutely recommend Maverick: Road Monsters MC: Mayhem Makes to anyone who’s looking for a new MC romance story to read. I’m looking forward to seeing what will be next from Morgan Jane Mitchell in the future.

This is a Road Monsters/Royal Bastards Nashville cross over. Lexi is attending Motorcycles, Mobsters and Mayhem with her bestie, Nova. Their time there is interrupted by her mother, she needs help. They leave the event and head to the bike rally that her mother is attending.
Maverick/Hallow when things when south with Eve her left the RB MC Nashville and found a new home with the Road Monsters. He is sent to the rally to find out what Dirty Diana may have on Kingpin. Little did he know her daughter would catch his attention.
Things do not start on the right foot with the two of them, she thinks he was getting with her mother. Maverick is determined to protect her from what is coming for her. He will have to call in all favors to get to the bottom of everything.
This is a turbulent road they are traveling, nothing is easy, his past comes to cause damage. In the end he will have to rely on the one person he would prefer to stay away from.

I loved Maverick and Lexi, their story had you sitting on the edge of your seat wanting more. I found their story very exhilarating and full of twists and turns. From his former self as Hallow to the person that became Maverick, things were always iffy with this guy. To a certain point his past made him who, Maverick is today.
Lexi, had no clue what would happen in her life once she finished law school. She definitely wasn't expecting to fall for a bad boy biker that was for sure. However, she let her heart go and the result was a relationship with Maverick. A relationship built on the feeling of safety after everything that she went through.
As a couple they were a very formidable combination of hearts. Learning that each only complemented the other and that there was always danger somewhere in their life. I found their bond very intriguing and full of love.
I gave this story a 5 star rating because of the way that the plot flowed with exciting energy. The way that the characters complemented the plot line.

This is a great book and it brings in some of the more rememberable characters from past books. This leads to a great read and a deeper understanding of the different MC”s, that have been mentioned in the previous books.
The characters are drawn together thur past relationships that they do not even realize that connects them.
Maverick and Lexi start off on a rocky start, but are soon in a messed up relationship. This brings up past memories for Maverick, and his past names back to him, and this also brings him back into Kingpins orbit, and thats not a place he ever wanted to be.
Through thick and thin Lexi,Nova(her best friend),maverick and Chigger( his best friend) work together to stay alive and are building relationships between them.
All together they grow stronger as a group and as individuals, and their love continues to grow even stronger.

This one delivers one hell of a story and it's a biggie. This author flushed out this so well with all the details and the plot coming to a head with revelations, twists and turns that were unexpected. I was pulled in from the very first page as I am always with the stories by this author who never ceases to amaze me with her ability to tell a story. I liked the concept of this book too. I also really liked the cross with the MC and Mafia it gives it a little bit more of a wow factor especially with everything that happens in this one. It's filled with action. There's even surprises that pop up when you least expect it. Maverick and Lexi's story is exceptional. And it takes you for a wild ride. A definite must read.

Excuse me? What was this?
I feel like I just read a poorly done knock off of a day time soap opera. One that was forcefully made into a MC romance.
For a lawyer, Lexi sure is dumb. Maverick supposedly was a detective but lacks the simple knowledge of, not believing your ex over everyone else. Sky has both Maverick and Kingpin believing her lies. Eve says she'll help Maverick out. Lexi is a weak female and even a weaker lawyer. Maverick showed Lexi multiple times that he was not trustworthy. Lexi is easily lead around to anyone else's point of view.
I have a headache from gritting my teeth during my try at reading this book. Yes, there are twists and turns but good lord. Why have Maverick and Lexi written so disgustingly disrespectful to their character titles?

I just finished reading this fantastic MC Romance by Award Winning Author Morgan Jane Mitchell. This is Maverick & Lexi's story. From beginning to end, I was drawn into their lives and journey to an HEA. The characters were vividly portrayed and endearing. I felt that Lexi, the victim of her mother's actions, is resilient as she is faced with tragic choices. Maverick, too stubborn for his own good, comes to a fork in the road. Unfortunately, the choice he makes costs him dearly. This little emotional rollercoaster pulled at all my heartstrings. The world build was on point, and there was so much drama, action, suspense, and great love (wink). I highly recommend this series and this book to all. Be prepared to be entertained by this well-written page-turner.

Outstanding addition to the series. The author gave this reader a real treat with Maverick’s story. Not only did Mac aka: Hallow finally get a storyline that fit him, Ms. Mitchell included one of my all time favorite bikers: Kingpin along with several others from the RBMC series.
Once again Hallow is caught up in one of Kingpin’s traps or is he just a pawn of his own making? The storyline is fast paced with a murder to solve, betrayals at every turn, lies, lovers on the run, and so much more. I can’t recommend Maverick enough. Grab it up asap, you won’t be disappointed.

If you follow Maverick from his previous stories as Hallow in the RBMC world, you would know that he has been through a lot when it comes to relationships. I love how the author invested so much into this book and gave Maverick the ending that he well deserved. The story sets off with Lexi getting a call from her mother to come visit her and is killed, which sets off a chain of events that involves Maverick and Lexi. There was so many shocking twists and never ending drama that does eventually gives the readers closure with both the main characters.

I have always loved Hollow now known as Maverick. The guy has had his heart torn out so many times he deserves his happily ever after, but does he get it this time or does his heart get torn out again?? After a long twisted journey full of lies, secrets, steam, surprises, and action. I couldn't stop turning the pages and swearing like a sailor. At one point I yelled out loud bleep not again and my ol man looked at me like I lost my mind. Thank you Morgan Jane Mitchell for Maverick's story I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. I can't for Chiggers story.

A page turner!!
Morgan Jane Mitchell has hit it out of the park with this story. At last we have Maverick's (aka Hallow) book in which he finds his true love, Lexi. Theirs is a turbulent journey toward one another; danger and threats and so much angst. They are a passionate couple so there are some steamy sexy scenes. I loved this book so much I read it in one sitting. I couldn't put it down, I had to know the entire story and to reach that longed for happily ever after ending.

4 1/2 stars. I enjoyed this story. Lexi came to her mother's aid but then lost her, finding her mother's murdered body. Lexi was strong at times, vulnerable at others. She thought what she was doing was for the best, miscommunication being a big roadblock. Maverick had his secrets and a rough life, not finding his place in the MC world or his previous job. I did feel that a little too much time had gone by between the major incidents, but overall, this was a wonderful story, and I recommend it.

Road Monsters MC: Mayhem Makers is Book 3 of Road Monsters MC series. It's a steamy, OTT, darkish MC romance. This is Maverick's story, previously known as Hallow. Lexi is the sassy attorney he falls for at a biker rally. I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It's, of course, a well written wild ride. It's full of hot chemistry, lots of danger and drama, and we do get a happy for now ending, but there is just so much going on.

Maverick is top notch. Surprises left and right. The book of course has chaos, suspense and danger. We don’t want to leave out love. I loved how it begins with a book signing. Morgan Jane Mitchell takes you on a ride with this book and I just loved ever bit of it. It’s one of those books where you just got to know what’s going to happen next. Oh and don’t forget you will be seeing kingpin. Way to go Morgan. 🩷🩷🩷

When Lexi gets a call from her mother, she rushes out to be with her, but it doesn't stop her death and now she is caught up in whatever her mother was involved with. Maverick learns about the threat to Lexi, and it starts them along one intense ride filled with twists and turns that kept me wondering what was going to happen next and cheering for Lexia and Maverick to get their chance for happiness.

Maverick/Hallow and Lexi’s story has so much going on that you need to read it and pay attention because some of his backstory is in another MC series book. There still is a lot going on with this book with betrayal, violence and such but for Lexi it’s a lot to handle since she’s a young g attorney getting a shock of her life.

This is a good read from beginning to end. This is the third story in the Road Monsters MC. I like the plot and the characters. Hallow, of the Royal Bs, becomes Maverick with the Road Monsters. Reeling from what happened with the Royal Bs he joins the new MC but when he meets Lexi, an attorney, things change. The plot was interesting, intriguing and a touch gritty with suspense, action, mystery, secrets, betrayal, drama and steam.

This book is an amazing read that you cant put down until the last page is read. The pace is perfect for the flow of the story making for an easy and enjoyable read. You will love these characters and you want to see them overcome whatever may be in there way. This book is a must read, no doubt about it. You will not be disappointed.

Maverick is just full of surprises! Kingpin makes an appearance (of course), there's danger, chaos, suspense, drama, action and love. What more do we need for a great story? This author takes us on quite an adventure with Maverick. From start to finish there's never a second to catch your breath before the next drama steals it away.

This is Maverick: Road Monsters MC: Mayhem Makers (Road Monsters MC) this is one of the books from Mayhem Makers and the story of Maverick & Lexi this one is full of twists and turns and crazy emotions such as betrayal, drama and chaos and so much more. The intrigue and danger are there and so is the crazy moments, especially the blackmail factor.
