Texting the Boyband #4

Famous Boys Don't Date New Girls

Rate this book
Living with a boyband was never part of my plan.

Moving in my brother and his band—Take Five, AKA the most famous boyband in the world—for a semester seemed like a disaster waiting to happen.

Then I got to know Finn Parker, and disaster turned into something else entirely.

My time living here might be temporary, but my feelings for him are here to stay.

Famous Boys Don't Date New Girls is a sweet & wholesome young adult standalone romance. A HEA is guaranteed. Get your copy today!

5 fluffy stars!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Spice: kissing

Uhmmmm sooo I read this book from 12:30 a.m to 2:15 a.m last night (or would it be morning???) so taking that into consideration I don't really remember what happened

BUT what I do remember is that I cringed when she tackled him over a cookie ....and it was really cute

Overall can't really remember what happened but that's because my half asleep brain put this in short term memory but I do love Nina and Finn and I thought they were really cute!!!!

Famous Boys Don't Date New Girls is book 4 in Texting the Boyband Series by Clara Nielsen. I thought that the story was a great look inside a young boy band and all the dynamics. This is Finn and Nina's romance and I thought the author wrote a very enjoyable YA romance. I received an arc for free and am leaving my review voluntarily.

This one was not a favorite for me. I wasn't a fan of Nina. Her romance with Finn both took too long to develop then happened suddenly. There wasn't enough texting which is my favorite part of this series.

I am uncertain as to why I find these books so captivating, despite the fact that the characters could be my grandchildren. Nevertheless, there is something endearing about the innocence of first love. What I particularly appreciate about these novels is the authentic portrayal of teenagers. Having read advanced copies of books featuring teenagers engaging in implausible behaviors, it is refreshing to encounter characters who behave in a manner consistent with their age group. Clara's works, such as this one, are characterized by their hopeful tone and sweet depictions of first love. Finn is an endearing character, and I must confess that he is one of my favorites among the band members. I also appreciated Nina's spunky personality, which had me laughing out loud as I read. This book is the type of wholesome literature that I would have no reservations about recommending to my teenage daughter. It is devoid of profanity and features only a few innocent kisses.

Nina was kind of crazy, a little sad at times going through transitioning to a new home. You can tell that she grew up with brothers.

Finn might be my favorite- baking cookies and all that. One of my favorite parts was after the conflict with Luca. Neil comes down the stairs and missed everything.

A girl living with a bunch of guys of course stuff is going to go wrong.
Slightly annoyed at Asa for forgetting about a sister a few times. But it accurately describes what it would be like to live with a bunch of guys.

Content:
Only kissing, but more than the previous books. Mentions of sports bra, hot tubs, showering clothes, falling asleep together. A couple curse words. Nothing happened, but they were definitely in situations where things could’ve happened.

This one was weird...I wasn't exactly sure where this one was headed. Nina seems like a soiled brat. "Oh no my parents have to take care of my grandma because she is sick, how dare they leave me in a mansion with 2 of my brothers. Its so unfair!" Really girl? She complains about everything, and isn't even that nice to people. She tackled Finn over a cookie. A freaking cookie....She is just unhinged. Finn on the other hand is sweet and nice and caring. Little bit inconsiderate at times (the gate incident), but over all he is trying. Maybe they will work out in the long run? Maybe not? This is just completely weird vibes. I feel as though these wo are not compatible.

An easy and fun young adult read. I have read the rest of the books in the series and enjoyed the flow of this book.

Nina is the sister of one of the band members. She tries to hide her identity from a lot of people since she doesn’t want to be recognized. Finn is a member of the boy band and is not sure how he feels about Nina coming to live with him and the other boys.

The chemistry between Nina and Finn is really sweet and romantic. The whole Series is a must read.

A lovely clean teen romance. I enjoyed reading about how a group of famous teenage pop singing boys were in steady relationships with friendly wholesome females who did not just the boys for their celebrity status.

Although the story of who the sister of on the teen idols gets to live with the group is a little far-fetched the love story is a sweet read.

I enjoyed this YA romance. Celebrity, brother’s best friend, and forced proximity all play a part in this sweet romance as it develops from a rocky beginning to a cute couple. This book is part of a series. While the best reader experience would be to read the series in order, this book can be read as a standalone. This is a clean romance with a few instances of mild harsh language.

Okay, this is a conundrum because as an adult I enjoyed this book. However, I currently have a 15t year old and we are doing our best to keep her from "dating" until she's 16. She can hang out, family and friends are around but not kissing and no dating until 16 so I would not let my daughter read this book. Even though I thought it was cutesy.

This one I like better than the last one.

It was a cute little Enemies to Lovers. They had great chemistry.

My only gripe is the way they fall in love in 6 days. It’s insane.

Also the long make out session in the hot tub and then shower for a YA book 🤣🤣

look imma start by saying... I hate exercise.... but I would start running if it meant I got to do it with Finn Parker. but omg, this book was adorable.

I personally loved the more real life aspect in this book. Don't get me wrong I completely LOVE the 'texting the boyband' stuff but I feel like it really suited Finn as a character to be an in person kinda guy.

Thank you Clara. I think this book healed something (but it may just be my need to exercise haha)

WHY WAS THIS BOOK SO SHORT??? like i swear every single book is getting shorter by the minute. also, grammar errors is immediately a RED FLAG. like there were characters saying things meant for another character. BUT i adoreeeee NINA AND FINN!! like brothers best friend, EVEN after the brother warned finn he still went ahead and fell in love with her!! like their meet cute, also, maybe i missed it but WHY DID HE NOT MEET HER?? like when they met at the farmers market was so cute then him like… why you outside my house? and them having to climb the fence. AHAHAHHA. also, i get nina may not be a huge fan of take five, but LIKE… your brother is literally world famous AND a millionaire and you don’t even have the time to recognise his band members names? yea, you don’t want the spotlight but that doesn’t mean you can support them. UGH. but overall really cute and fun. sadly, not my favourite but still really enjoyed. I LOVE THIS SERIES!!
