4.5 An essential read for anyone with a creative practice or who seeks a little inspiration in their work (any work). My copy is dog-eared an obscene amount. Will probably be a 5 star once I’ve gone through and underlined and sat with the many parts that resonated with me throughout. I loved the writing style and how Nachmanovitch draws on so many different forms of creativity from classical composers to ancient philosophers and applies the processes of his creative journey as a musician to creative expression and improvisation in life generally. Fab book.
