They stopped an ancient evil and saved the world. Now what? Guy and Mae are left with a wrecked house, a big ugly rock, and the looming threat of dark forces crashing in to re-open the hole and undo all the good they did. That's a lot of pressure.
And now there's a sprawling new housing development under construction right next door. Mae's certain it has something to do with the hole. Guy's certain it's a juicy job opportunity. They might both be right.
Soon, Hole House is under siege as servants of the ancient evil close in from both above ground and below. And all that stands against them is Guy and Mae. If they're going to win this time, they'll have to dig deep.
If you've ever switched on a television and are not picky, you've probably seen something written by DM Sinclair. He's done more than a hundred hours of that stuff, and will happily take the blame even for the shows he didn't write.
Later he switched to writing books because he thought it might be nice. It isn’t, though.
Nevertheless, he plans to keep writing as long as he is alive. After that, he intends to visit Australia.
What can I say? We're back with Guy and Mae, the house and the hole.... This is the 4th book from Sinclair that has been absolutely addicting! Def deserves a NYT Best Seller spot because the whole plot of this book is fantastic. I love ancient evils, they make great stories... specially if that story has a port a potty!
I can't recommend this book enough, if you didnt read the first one you're missing out greatly!! I'm hoping this becomes a big series! I would love to see other characters get some of the spot light (or maybe a sneeky prequal) :)
I love this book by DM Sinclair. It has everything, including an evil being millions of years old, lots of holes, worms, Port-a-potties, and even explosions. I love his sense of humor and style. DM Sinclair is one of a kind.
This was so much fun. I am going to miss these characters especially Guy. He frustrated me beyond measure yet I could not help laughing at him. Luther requires a book of his own, though I don't know how you'd manage that. I am just so glad he came back for book 2.
Every book I have read by D.M Sinclair has been a gem. I was so glad to have a second book I liked all the characters and the story was engrossing. I would read anything by this author.
