This was a POWERFUL read. Oma’s life is truly faith building and encouraging in every way. Her life shows the power of prayer and the importance of anointing. It does not take education, money, or even connections to be used by God. He simply wants our availability.

This book recounts her testimony and is presented in a timeline format. While it may not be exceptionally engaging from a literary perspective, as it can sometimes feel somewhat dry, it remains an impactful read.

Loved this book!

Oma Ellis was so amazing and filled this the Holy Spirit. She had so much faith in God and obeyed every command God gave her. So faithful even when it seemed impossible to continue she just trusted in the Lord. Her story is one to be remembered and shared with everyone to show just how powerful God is and how God can change your life forever!

This is a remarkable true story about an extraordinary Chiistian.
Oma Ellis was a female Pentecostal preacher who endured many hardships in her marriage, her separation from her children, and having to struggle just to survive.

Amazing story of faith and reliance on God!

I reccomend this for every saint and preacher who names the Name of Jesus Christ. There is much to learn when reading about these Depression Era saints!

Faith challenging, faith provoking, faith building. A powerful story of humanity persevering in faith to walk in the call of God on their life. A testament to knowing Jesus in the fellowship of His suffering and the power of His resurrection.
