Description
Step into the wild and wicked world of "Cabaret of the Dead," where the glitz and glamour of burlesque meets the grisly horror of a zombie apocalypse! When a freak storm hits Hollywood, the sultry dancers of the Fetish Factory mansion find themselves pitted against an audience of bloodthirsty zombies.

Bettie, the headliner who channels the legendary pinup Bettie Page, thrills her clients with her fan dance and a saucy ventriloquist act—until the tables turn and the customers become ravenous ghouls. Now, the dancers must swap their boas for battle gear as they fight for survival against hordes of flesh-eating undead.

"Cabaret of the Dead" is a riotous blend of comedy and horror, drawing inspiration from George A. Romero’s iconic zombie films and Herschell Gordon Lewis’ splatter flicks. It's a celebration of strong, savvy women who take the stage and the brawl to a whole new level.

Whether you've seen the 2017 film "Cabaret of the Dead" or you're new to the story, get ready for a wild, wicked ride that’s equal parts tease and terror. With numerous nods to classic horror and '80s slasher films, this novella is sure to be a delight for cinephiles.

From the Author
"Cabaret of the Dead" is here! If the title rings a bell, you're spot on! This is a novelization and an epic expansion of the zombie comedy film that I wrote and directed a few years back. I've been itching to dive back into this undead world, especially since our original budget had more limits than a zombie with no legs. So here it is, brought back to life, costing nothing but my time and wild imagination! I hope you'll enjoy it.

Weird vibes from this book. It seems like the zombies were added in after the plot was decided by the author. The first like 40% of the book is only about the burlesque show, and the zombies eventually show up. The deus ex machina at the end is a very odd way to finish a story. Great concept with bad execution.

A crazy storm hits Hollywood which kick starts an apocalypse. The glammy girlie burlesque dancers of Fetish Factory Mansion have a face off against their audience who have become flesh eating variations of zombies! The dancers do what they can to survive against these undead creatures that are plaguing their mansion. Can they survive or will they get their flesh chewed off!?

The book is an expansion of the “Cabaret of the Dead” film that aired in 2017. It has added battle adventures that weren’t in the movie. It has more unhinged action and more laugh out loud moments.

This book was unique in its own remake of twists and events. The setting was very vivid and thought out. The characters were hilarious and relatable to the situation. I was engaged throughout the whole series with Bettie and her burlesque crew. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys, dancers, zombies, adventure, survival, horror and comedy!

I'm a fan of the horror genre

The Walking Dead. The early seasons
Z Nation. Silly bad acting but still fun.
Dawn of the Dead
From Dusk Till Dawn. Salma Hayek rolling her hips. Dear God!
The campy Bordello of Blood
Night of the Comet. Two Valley Girls fighting against cannibal zombies. Ha! What?

I was looking forward to this book but it just didn't work. The writing was ok but the story was dull.
40% in and no Zombies was problem one. At a 178 pages why wait so long?
When the flesh eaters finally showed up the story unfortunately got worse.

Plus it wasn't funny. Geico commercials are funnier. "Why can't we get into the running car?"
"Are you crazy? Lets hide behind the chainsaws" "Smart. Yea ok" "Head for the cemetery!"

It hurts me to say skip this.

The best Stripper Zombie Alien Weirdo Fetish Book I've ever read!

And the movie was even better. Should have been subtitled Boobs R Us! High art! The academy should be thanking you! Can't wait for the sequel!
