A super cute little continuation of Theo and Connor's romance. We get only their POVs in this short story. It was nice to see them outside of the politics and just doing their own thing. Also, Birdie is the ultimate motherly figure and the unsung hero of this whole series, and no one can convince me otherwise. This was fun, sweet, and super quick. It's not essential to the rest of the series, but it's definitely a nice little treat.

Set during a visit down to Texas, I loved this interlude for them - Connor enjoying being back home, and taking his boyfriend on a trips down memory lane. And Theo getting some well deserved motherly affection from Birdie (especially since we know he can’t count on his monster of an actual mother for it)
Family, food, and the comfort that can come from both. Plus some hotness, of course - No tiny rickety twin bed in Connor’s old room, thankfully!

I absolutely loved this book! While I missed getting to see the other characters from this series it was nice to get true time with Connor and Theo. I loved getting to see their love for each other grow and bloom when life is simple. And the love that Theo finds for Birdie is amazing and warms my heart. He deserves that love more than anyone and it makes me so happy that he found it! Can’t wait to continue this series!

I absolutely loved this little glimpse Conner and Theo on their trip to see Birdie in Texas. Seeing them together and getting all the love from Conners mom was so sweet. This little bonus is just from their POV and I love seeing them spending time together with all the politics and stress that seems to follow them.

I just love these two so much.
