I liked the banter and the suggestion to think of each card as a person to remember. I wish it would have helped do this a bit more! I can’t wait to read Ronnie’s hopeful tarot book! Worth the read!

The Tarot Tellers' Podcast

I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway. This is a really quick read. I will say that if you are trying to learn tarot, this is not that kind of book. While you do get the jist that reading tarot is intuitive and personal to one's journey, it is not a how-to book by any means. It's a script of a podcast performed by two women who love tarot and pull 2 cards, then talk about them during every episode. But it's also like listening to their conversations and personal life stories. So a lot of chit-chatting while discussing the cards they pulled. Thank you for my copy!

A Quick Read

*I won this Kindle Book from Goodreads
This book is set up as if you are actually reading the script of a podcast. Since I am just getting interested in Tarot cards, I found this book interesting. Not only telling you about their thought of cards but sharing personal info of their lives and friendship. Like I said it is a quick read.

This novella was cute but a fast read. I won this last year in 2024 as a GoodReads giveaway so I wanted to write a review! At 120 pages I read it over a few hours in one day. It was nice in its format, two best friends start a podcast together and pull tarot cards to gain insight into their lives. I wasn’t really blown away with the plot but it was an entertaining read. There could have been more substance for sure, but because it’s a podcast format there’s only so much detail that can be shared. I was disappointed with the ending. I didn’t care for Steve and Yolanda getting back together and Veronica’s marriage falling apart after being built up as perfect this whole time was awful…but that’s life, not everything ends well, and I guess that fits with the tarot wheel of fortune theme.
