Knot Her Pack #3

Claiming Their Omega

Rate this book
I had no idea I was an Omega…

Now I’m fake dating four rugged cowboy Alphas who happen to be my brother’s best friends.

When I returned to my small hometown in Colorado, I knew I would run into people from my past—like my brother’s four best friends, and the subjects of my very secret teenage crushes.

What I didn’t expect was that I’d start perfuming one night and realize I’m not actually a Beta.

I’m an Omega, and now I’m supposed to choose a pack to bond with.

Well, screw that.

I have dreams I refuse to give up, so before my Omega presentation, I do something reckless. I ask my brother’s best friends to bid on me.

I just need them to pretend to court me until I can figure out what to do next. But from the minute they bring me home to their ranch, things start to get complicated.

The line between real and fake starts to blur... like when all four of them put their cowboy hats on me in front an entire bar. Or when Hendrix spits whiskey into my mouth and follows it with a toe-curling kiss. When Jesse admits the real reason he wouldn’t take my v-card all those years ago, or when Easton destroys my shitty ex’s car just for hurting me.

I tell myself it’s all an act. That they’re just good at playing their parts.

But if that’s true, then I must be a good actor too...

Because I think I’m starting to fall for them.

What you’ll find between these
Sweet Omegaverse
Cowboy romance
Fake relationship
Fiesty heroine
Creative use of ropes
Group scenes
Praise / dirty talk
Knotting, nesting, heats, and bonding
Alphas who worship their Omega

Claiming Their Omega is a standalone reverse harem cowboy Omegaverse romance. It contains multiple points of view, plenty of steam, and has a happily ever after! The characters are fully human and do not shapeshift.

DNF at 20%. For me, my main issue was with the FMC. She was whiny, childish, stupid and annoying frankly. She was also a massive hypocrite because she was all for omegas until she found out that she was one and suddenly her nice little snobby life in NYC 'couldn't possibly' continue because now she would be a 'slave her to biology'. I understand that she's really career driven, and that this is a big change, but I wish she had shown it differently because she just came off like a bigot that thinks all omegas are useless, weak and in need of alpha protectors. It wouldn't be so bad if she wasn't so ignorant and naive when she thought she was a beta and had no real idea of what omegas actually go through because 'it didn't concern her' until it did and she was all woe me. The guys are hardly distinguishable and while I love a good old spicy cowboy story, this was not it for me as the FMC ruined pretty much every scene she was in. Honestly, she felt pretty privileged all in all, having moved to NYC and gotten a fancy job, a new wardrobe and a new car, just to come crawling back to her family and friends in her hometown when things get too real for her (and of course they all accepted her back with open arms). Maybe with a different FMC, this could have worked for me. 3/10.

Blaze of Worry

I found this to be a middling omegaverse novel with a Hallmark Channel worthy plot. It wasn't quite terrible, nor was it very good. It had a lot of creative yet equally cringe-y intimate scenes.

First, there was that sexception of a setting where every sexual play by play was narrated out loud by the FMC to the MMC as a part of the book she was writing, actually writing on her computer, as the MMC sexed her up in real time.  The dialogue at best sounded performative and at worst unnaturally stilted, which is to be expected when our MCs are making it all up on the spot. So Grace's attempt at sexy narration manages to simultaneously lack all the polish of a finished manuscript while keeping none of the spontaneity of actual dirty talk.

Then there was the motorcycle finger bang which seemed very suicidal and not at all responsible (And just like all driving while deliberately distracted, it was a very selfish and self centered thing to do. Instead of the big O, maybe the MCs should instead focus on keeping themselves and the other drivers sharing the road safe!) Some of the dialogue during this scene killed me too, killed me brain dead that is. Weep for these poor, lost brain cells of mine.

Then there were the McAllisters, who were cast as this novel's stereotypical rival ranching, all around no good, very Bad Men ™️

There was so much dramatic angst during their little white hat vs black hat stand off at the County Fair. Oh no! What terrible plans are they plotting?  What are those very Bad Men going to do? Checks notes..  put in a competing livestock bid? That's all?

Okay, okay so burning down a barn seems much more like the speed of those darn rotten, dang tootin, no good, very Bad Men™️ But still, I maintain that these baddies are super lame. I suspect they only pulled off this arson as a favor to the author just so the FMC would have a reason to cosplay as a Mary Sue special edition firefighter with a severe case of TSTL.  I mean, Grace runs into the barn fire without protective equipment of any kind and uses the power of... wet blankets... on a structural fire that's giving off unhealthy amounts of smoke.

I was not surprised in the least when the FMC laid down and had herself a little nap. However I was quite flabbergasted when I realized that she had forgotten to invite any attendees to this roast of her own utter stupidity. Did home girl even bother calling the fire department or 911 or anyBODY before rushing in? No? So, she's unconscious from smoke inhalation stuck inside a burning building and nobody knows she's in there. Cool, cool, cool. This will end well. (Which I'm sure it will, the bond that isn't yet a full bond will alert the guys in time, plot armor am I right?)

To no one's surprise, the little bond that could, alerted the MMCs to Lassie in the well, or whatever the opposite of that is, Idk, Grace in the barn blaze? And after discovering their slumbering sweetie amongst the smoldering embers (their very own Khaleesi: Mother of Jackwagons if you will) the MMCs ...also choose not to call 911? Does this town have a hospital? Or a firehouse? Emergency services of any kind? Just how big is this town again and what year is it?

So one house call from the town doctor later,(Seriously what time period is this supposed to take place in?), it turns out that Grace will live to fight fire with snuggles another day. (Ya know, because she brought a blanket to a fire fight and then took a little smoke induced nap afterwards? Sorry)

Did I say the intimate scenes were creative? I meant tedious. Do you know what you get in an Omegaverse with four alphas? A bonding that is four times as boring, that's what.. Why was this stuck at the very end when it was hard enough just finishing this book up until that point?

Quick! Someone recite some pithy, vaguely Western yet confusingly Southern, witticisms passed on from the grandparents, who in turn, borrowed all of that sageness from an old, worn out copy of Reader's Digest that had lived under the bathroom sink for decades.  This novel has heart y'all! /s   2.5 stars.

Original review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Sadie Moss!

Claiming Their Omega is the third standalone book in the Knot Her Pack series and tells the story of Grace and her men, Cade, Easton, Hendrix, and Jesse.

It's been a while since I read the first and second book in the Knot Her Pack series, but luckily all three books are standalones, so I didn't forget any important plot details. Every book in the Knot Her Pack series is about a different Omega woman and her Alpha mates, but it's nice to read all three books because you get to know more about the Alpha/Beta/Omega world. Claiming Their Omega was also totally different from the first two books because this was a Cowboy Romance. It was nice to read something totally different from Sadie Moss! But also in general because I haven't read that many Cowboy Romance books.

Claiming Their Omega tells the story of Grace. She's always thought she was a Beta until she comes back to her hometown. Her life changes and she asks her brother's best friends for help. Cade, Easton, Hendrix and Jesse are all so cute and totally different. They form a perfect Alpha pack, and they help Grace discover what it means to be an Omega. While they live together, some things chances between them, and it gets really spicy!

If you like reading Cowboy Romance with a Fantasy twist and multiple partners, then this book is definitely something for you! I really liked that this book was different from the previous books, but it's unfortunately my least favourite one. I didn't always like our main character, and I wish we could've read some more about Grace's mates. But besides that, I enjoyed reading Claiming Their Omega, and I'm looking forward to reading Sadie Moss's next book!

There were a lot of things that bothered me in this one, especially in the beginning. The FMC comes off as snobby at first and I hated how she kept having to beg the MMCs for things (to court her, sleep with her, help her with her heat, be honest with her about the farm, etc.) when most of them were supposedly in love with her for years. They were willing to let her go 5 years before, and in the present when she would have been given to another pack by Omega Services. BUT it did turn out very sweet by the end, and I love how when they brought her to their ranch, the FMC took initiative to find out how she could contribute to the work on the ranch. I also think it was sweet how much they all grew to care for each other over time as they finally allowed themselves to feel for each other.

The external conflict was pretty boring, and for being good friends with her brother, they hardly interacted with the guy throughout the weeks they were together.

Honestly though, after a few DNFs in a row this week, I appreciated that this held my attention and that the MMCs were so attentive and caring for her. Their feelings truly blossomed in the story, and I loved that there wasn't a third act breakup.

This book was just not it for me, unfortunately. It had so much potential, I mean, come on Cowboys!
But I feel like the writer just couldn’t pull off what she wanted to and it just came across as a very cheap cheap hallmark movie type of book.
The dialogue was beyond cringe and immature and weak. The men were all kind of caricatures and did not come across as hot or believable in anything that they did.
The sex was very predictable and nothing new. And I felt like the leading lady had to constantly masturbate herself during sex, which is just weird when you have four partners and eight hands to help you.
Everything was predictable nothing was new and I just couldn’t get into it because it just didn’t feel authentic and it just didn’t hit the mark.
And the leading lady was extremely unlikable way too. I don’t need nobody attitude. The first 40% of the book she was just in sufferable and annoying and the book didn’t really get going till the second half.

Rating- 3 ok
Heat- 4
Tropes- sweet omegaverse, MFMMM, brothers best friend, fake relationship, fated mates, terrible ex, small town
Need to know- Each book in this series is a stand alone

There is a lot to like in Claiming Their Omega. It has a Hallmark-esque plot where the sophisticated NYC girl, Grace, goes home to visit her family in a small ranching town. She has to decide if her long time dream of being a big city career girl is still her dream. This becomes further complicated when she unexpectedly switches from beta to omega. Unfortunately, there were some execution problems.

First, despite having read the previous two books when they came out, I was confused about the world building. Everyone talks like this isn’t a society where designations are treated like social classes. Neither Omegas or Betas seem to be prized or looked down upon, but it’s a world where Omegas find their packs by auction. Even with letting the omega have control over which pack she chooses, I didn’t understand why she had to immediately abandon her life and find a pack. This is also a world where fated mates exist. Why limit the chances of meeting your mate with auctions? Second, the guys refusal to tell Grace they liked her lasted far too long and made no sense. There was no tension with her being their friend’s sister. They really didn’t have a reason to hold back other than she wanted a career. They just sat back and let her make all the moves.

I started off really disliking , and by the end I mostly just felt impartial to her.

Pretty good narration and the story picks up and gets interesting pretty quickly!

DNF - not great world building but great characters

**contains spoilers**

I really wanted to finish this book, but I just couldn’t. I stopped right after the first heat. I had too many questions about how this author’s omegaverse (OV) works.

No parent designations are mentioned. The only designations that are mentioned are young people. Do designations “age out” in this OV and everyone turns into a beta after 50 or something? Not a single Omega parental figure, friend, or family member can help this FMC out? The only Omega she knows between her entire hometown AND from her home in NYC was the mean girl from high school? Are Omegas that rare? Was the FMC that much of a loner? Seriously – the only resource she has on how to be Omega is an administrative government – like organization that scooped her up and basically put her up for an auction, and these four alpha pack that are her brother’s best friends?

None of these are addressed but are important in being able to follow along in OV going from author to author.

And how did she get her clothes back from the hotel???

I don’t think I have ever seen an OV novel with a late-presenting Omega that did not have a single other Omega side character the author uses to help build their OV for the reader - even if that character was an Omega professional of some kind.

Ironically, it felt like there was more time spent on Alpha biology/physiology than Omega. Perhaps this was strategic to highlight how awkward this was for the FMC, but for a seasoned OV reader, it was a frustrating experience.

I’ve read other late – presenting OV novels, and this novel just didn’t do it well.

This lack of world building made the heat hard to read and just felt like any other poly or group “experience” outside of OV. I’ve read another OV by this author, but it was a while ago. I didn’t rate it so I don’t know what I thought at that time.

What I can say about this author is that I love their characters. The interpersonal dynamics are interesting and engaging. I probably would have finished this book if it wasn’t OV, and was RH/Why Choose instead. Since I know I finished the other book (bc Kindle told me I did), I almost wonder if maybe this didn’t start out as OV, but OV was written in later…makes the lack of OV world building make more sense. I’ll try another book by this author for sure, maybe it will be better.

‘Claiming Their Omega’ is a wonderful, sweet omegaverse romance that delivers everything I love about this genre! This installment keeps up the cozy, affectionate vibes of the series while adding one of my favorite tropes - fake relationships! There’s something so fun about watching characters pretend to be together only to realise their feelings are very real, and this book handles that transition beautifully.

PLOT: ★★★★☆
The plot is sweet and engaging, with just the right amount of tension to keep things interesting. The fake relationship trope is executed perfectly, bringing both humour and sizzling chemistry to the story. While the stakes aren’t incredibly high, the emotional development and character dynamics make up for it. I knew from the blurb that Hendrix spitting whiskey in Daisy’s mouth before kissing her would be a moment, but wow, I still wasn’t prepared for just how intense and hot it was!

CHARACTER: ★★★★★
Daisy is such a relatable heroine - she’s independent, strong-willed, and easy to root for. Her alphas are everything you could want: protective, affectionate, and just the right amount of possessive. The chemistry between them all is chef’s kiss perfection, and their bond develops in a way that feels natural and deeply satisfying. Hendrix, in particular, stole the show for me! His presence adds an extra spark to the romance, making every interaction with Daisy even more addictive.

SETTING: ★★★★★
As always, the setting is beautifully written. The packhouse, the surrounding nature, and the small community create a vivid and immersive backdrop. It’s easy to picture every scene, and the world feels warm and welcoming, making it the perfect escape.

ENGAGEMENT: ★★★★☆
This book kept me hooked from start to finish. The fake relationship setup brings plenty of fun and tension, and the developing romance is so satisfying to watch unfold. It’s the kind of book that makes you want to curl up and binge-read in one sitting.

READABILITY: ★★★★★
Sadie Moss’s writing is smooth, engaging, and effortlessly immersive. The dialogue feels natural, the pacing is well-balanced, and the romance is beautifully woven into the story. It’s an easy, addictive read that pulls you in and doesn’t let go.

ENJOYMENT: ★★★★☆
I absolutely adored this book! The fake relationship, the scorching chemistry, the perfect mix of sweetness and spice - it all came together in such a satisfying way. I would have loved just a little more tension before the inevitable realization of feelings, but that’s just me being greedy for more! This was such a fun, heartwarming, and steamy read.

‘Claiming Their Omega’ is a delightful addition to the series, with a perfect mix of romance, fun, and steam! If you love fake relationships, strong yet lovable heroines, and a pack of swoon-worthy alphas, this book is a must-read.

3.5 stars. I’m rounding up because this was a sexy RH story. It was an easy read and I read it in 1 day but I feel like it was mostly just to finish it. I do love the knotting trope though! There were a couple things that annoyed me throughout the book that I couldn’t overlook - 1) the FMC is insufferable and always talking about how people don’t like her. It was very annoying since it was so repetitive. Luckily, her Alphas help her see she’s wrong but it was so late in the book. 2) I *hate* the virgin FMC trope. She had a “serious” boyfriend that she was bringing home to introduce to her family but they never had sex. And she scoffed when he made a comment about the relationship not being that serious. I’m sorry, I’m on his side (just with that part) about it not being that serious. 3) the author used the same phrases over and over like “butter couldn’t melt in his mouth” and it bothered me so much since it’s not a common phrase but she said it multiple time about different characters. And finally 4) there was no true challenge to the story. The big “oh no” plot point occurs at 90% in the book and lasts one chapter. I love a HEA so I enjoyed the ending but overall this was a fluff book to me.

Let’s face it, I am here for the tropes.
This is one of those books that is very reminiscent of a dozen other ones (which likely says more about my reading preferences than anything else) but it just has that nostalgia the entire time that leaves you questioning if you’ve read it before. Reading the blurb of book one also put me in the same quandary, but Goodreads says I haven’t. I have read something that sounds identical to this though, and while the world building for organisations and preparations for Omegas is lacking I still felt like I’d read all the necessary info in a previous book. Granted it was by a different author and in a different series, but it follows all the popular plot lines so that you can just fill in the blanks from the cannon.
Nothing really iconic or particularly stand out or memorable, but it’s definitely enjoyable enough with plenty of high heat thrown in. It’s not as omega hot with heats as some others out there, but it does go for many combos and firsts and gives all the attention to the female MC.

Claiming Their Omega, book 3 in the Know Her Pack series, written by Sadie Moss.

Format: KU ebook
Genre: Contemporary fiction, Romance
Overall score:⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice level:🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

A cute story of a young beta woman who returns home for her grandmothers birthday party. While there she meets up with her brother’s best friends, and pact mates, for a night of fun.

While out in their small town she soon starts to feel out of sorts and the guys realize that her designation isn’t what everyone assumed it was. Grace is in fact an omega!

Before leaving for what is designed to be omega “training” she asks the guys to bid on her, with the intention of “fake dating” her, so that she knows and trusts who she ends up with at her auction. They come through for her and take her to their ranch to stay while they are pretend courting her.

Soon they all realize their feelings are more than just friends and that they see a future together as a complete family.

No OM/OW drama, just a really cute found family HEA story! 🥰

love the story, so steamy and spicy

Love the story it was super cute lots of spice. How ever there were som errors i picked up on, the biggest one being the chapter where they go to the rodeo, the events change multiple times starts out that he calf ropes and rides broncs, then when they announce winners at the end of the night it's barrel racing (which is female dominated sport) and bronc riding then when their are having sex he asks "did you like watching me ride the bull" well a bull and a bronc are very different animals. I also was confused cause in most shifter/werewolf story line of power is typically Alpha, Luna , Beta, Gamma, Omega . Also thought this was supposed to be a shifter story but other than knotting, marking and true mates, and packs, as well the author referring to them as alphas, betas, and omegas there's really nothing shifter/werewolf about this book and based on the title that's what i was expecting. Still a new and refreshing take to alpha stories then what I've read which i really enjoyed.

So, I actually did finish this book, but I got so bored with it. I honestly started skimming over the last 15% because I just didn't really care much any more. This wasn't a book that I was really wanting to read so much, but I read the first two, so I decided to finish up the series.

Editing-wise, it was OK. There were a couple spots that felt a little clunky, but overal it worked out.

Story-wise, this book was just way too mild for me. The main issue going on was their anxiety about her choosing to stay, but it wasn't handled well enough. There needs to be more fear about it for it to be a factor. Since this is the main concern going on, it just comes across as just too bland.

I will not read this book again, and I would not recommend this series very much. There just isn't enough going on to keep my interest.
I gave this 3 stars, but that was really rounding up. It was closer to 2.25-2.5-ish.

Loved

Well this was a great way to finish this series.
Now this story I loved because I have a thing for cowboys, better yet that there are 4 of them 🥰
Loved the late presenting thing, mostly because they are not teenagers, plus the spicy scenes are better because they are in their mid twenties.
Of course the drama of her coming home with her new boyfriend to meet the family, then finding out he was cheating on her!! Then he left her in the middle of their argument saying she was hysterical! Ugh horrible man.
But then the pack showed up and took her out for drinks to help her....only for everything to change and nothing to be the same after.
Stuff happens, and things hit the fan, some fires need to be put out, but through it all the alpha's showed Grace that she is the priority and that she is loved not just by the alpha's but the town as well. They have HEA and it's just beautiful 🤩

I gave this book an honest try but struggled to connect with it. The writing felt more like an instruction manual, lacking flow and distinct character voices. It was incredibly repetitive, revolving around the same points: they don’t really want her, she’s embarrassed, she’s a wild card, and one guy doesn’t talk. The narrative kept circling back to these details without ever showing you them. They call her a wildcard but she’s whiny and hypocritical, nothing about the FMC was exciting. If anything her character made no sense at all.

I made it to 38% before deciding to stop. While the author had some interesting ideas, the story felt devoid of emotion and any depth. The world-building was minimal, and events, like a two-week trip to an omega institute, were condensed into just a page. It felt rushed and underdeveloped (and that is saying something for an omega verse book).

I hate writing bad reviews and kudos to writing a book but this was not readable.

This book has a lot of great OV classic tropes as well as the fun twist of a cowboy, "fake" romance. I mean...save a horse, ride a cowboy (or four).

Normally I can't put my finger on what exactly fell flat, but I think this one is pretty blatant. Starting right at chapter 30. We get a Hendrix's POV chapter which have previously been full of his personality and well done, but for some reason it changes in this chapter. The writing felt like it became very staccato and lacked personality. Unfortunately, the following chapters continued in this trend as well. It read as though the author lost interest at this point, and it was felt as a reader. Skimming back through, the first 50% reads differently than the latter half.

Not my fav book by Sadie Moss, but you should give the first book in this series a whirl!

I was bored!! It was a typical omegaverse, with not much going on. If the fmc hadn't suddenly turned into an omega, they would never have really wanted her, so i just didn't like their relationship. One of the mmcs kept making remarks on how many women he's "gotten off" in the past. That's pretty gross to say while you're in the middle of things.
I also have questions!! If packs were normal, why were all their parents/grandparents a single couple? And it was mentioned that the mmcs and the brother of the fmc were best friends, but yet he never joined their pack? Its not like any of the mmcs were that interested in her in highschool, so it would have made sense that the brother would have joined. And why is the brother, another Alpha still on his own on his late 20's. Sorry for the rant, just things that bugged me!

When a late blooming Omega needs a pack to pretend to be courting her, her brothers best friends is the perfect answer. I loved this book, Grace, the FMC, is a great mix of fiesty, sweet and intelligent - all great attributes to have when your life gets turned upside down! From a cheating ex, to the dilemma of career in the city or a real chance at love at the ranch, this book covers it all. I loved the relationships between Grace and all the guys, each so different and each fighting to not give in to their own wants, to make sure that Grace has the choice of what her life will be. This was a sweet Omegaverse, very hot and steamy once they get going! I couldnt put this book down, the pacing was perfect!

- low angst
- sappy hallmark

This was definitely not my favorite from Sadie Moss. There’s usually a repetition problem but this was beyond. It started out ok, but started to drag a bit and the plot premise was weak. None of the guys had descriptions other than eye color and I had a hard time really picturing them. It’s supposed to be a brothers best friend but we don’t get that vibe as the brother is mostly in the beginning background. The icing on the cake- OF COURSE she never found someone to take her v card in the 5 years she was away. Sigh.

The worst was the barn fire where instead of calling 911 the heroine races into it, then the guys find her and again not calling 911 for an ambulance, they call a family doctor like this is the 1930s who supposedly gives her oxygen 😂 I’m over here like what a doctor! He brings his portable 02 concentrator and nasal cannulas to every house visit? It got really boring from there and I couldn’t take much more so I skimmed the HEA. Others may have more patience for this book than me. If I was on vacation under a palm tree I probably wouldn’t be so critical…maybe.

Really dislike the fmc
She’s 25 and late presents as an omega, complains about it and generally shits on omegas. Gets her brothers friends pack to pretend to court her until she figures things out and can get back to her life and job in New York. They reluctantly agree even though they get nothing out of this and now she’s begging them to sleep with her even though they don’t think it’s a good idea to complicate things. Oh and the reason she left the small town 5 years ago was because she begged one of the guys to take her virginity when she was drunk and he turned her down so she moved to work in publishing in New York and now she’s back, still a virgin and still begging. Can’t do it anymore.

Fake Dating or is it??

Enjoyed reading Claim their omega, good plot. Strong Independent Omega who unfortunately was a late show thinking her a Beta. I like how it showed how hard it was for her late presentation. Which also sort of explains how she never realison the pack where her true mates. I would have liked to have heard more from her family and the Macallisters, but also Maybelle, I actually thought at first that Maybelle was the Macallisters omega but it appears she wasn't. Loved all of Grace's Guys, Jesse really did need to be more Vocal but also in a way so did Grace they were both similar in that way. Loved the character building though, and eventually the spice. Satisfying HEA and multi pov

Cute RH omegaverse. Enjoyed the ranch setting. Was confused about the omega auction aspect since seems like omegas have basically full rights (minus of course being forced to live at the omega center unless courting or broken up with, and apparently it's against the rules to not register asap once you present). There was a mention of highest bid, but also seemed like omegas are encouraged to meet and consider courting with any bidder. The actions and non-actions of FMC's initial alpha BF also made little sense. *Shrugs* Anyhow, only a fraction of the book covered those events and the large majority was adorable relationship building and smexy times amongst the MCs.

A good addition to the omegaverse romance series!

It was pretty straightforward slow burn soft romance, with some good spice when things developed with the MCs. I did find the FMC a little obnoxious for the first part of the book, but towards the end there was some decent growth. The MMCs were also pretty one note until further into the book where we got more multiple POVs and better communication in the relationship.

There was quite a bit of unnecessary repetition throughout the book that generally came from the FMC, which I think further affected my initial distaste towards the character.

Overall it was a cute soft story in the series.

It was OK.

I am always down for a fun omega story, and this one had potential with the story line. But for me it fell short. There was a lot of ‘extra’ making the book long and repetitive at times. I liked her and the alphas, I liked how the POV changed characters, I thought there was decent character development. But at times I thought the spice wasn’t spicy, but just vulgar. No one uses the term “she could suck the chrome off a bumper” with good connotations. And the story development was a little all over for me, picking a little of each trope and not really committing to one. Overall, it was fine though.
