I spent a good portion of this book hoping that Elio would rain heck down on the Baldinis and bathe their world in blood. I haven’t been a Baldini fan in the past. I’m still not, although Grazia redeemed herself and went from the girl who was angry that someone else being kidnapped was going to ruin her wedding to a capable, formidable, interesting woman. I enjoyed that journey. Marco I’m still lukewarm about, and I think that Grazia’s brothers are despicable.
As far as Elio and Kate go, they have both grown since the beginning of the book, when Kate was immature and impulsive and Elio was impulsive and full of rage. Elio had a lot of baggage to work through after the abusive “training” his father put him through. I thought it was interesting that Kate’s pleasure/pain receptors are so strongly connected. I did enjoy reading about the love between Elio and Kate, and how they made each other better people.
But this was a very strange book. The kidnappers allowed the MMC to go home, and to visit the FMC while she was in captivity. Then there was a convenient coma, and a major Kumbaya moment. I got whiplash.
This book was written well, with good grammar and decent stylistics. And it was very readable. It certainly held the attention. It just made me scratch my head a lot, especially with the ending. I get that the Baldinis were main characters in the previous books in the series, so they couldn’t be condemned as horribly ebil and have this MMC rain blood and destruction on them. But the ending was beyond belief.
Because it was well written and interesting and I didn’t hate it, I’m giving it three stars.

Secret Baby for the Mafia Don is such a captivating story. This is Elio and Kate's story. Elio La Rosa is the oldest son in his family and Kate is the oldest daughter in her family. Their families have promised them in marriage, since they were small children. Both of their families are quite powerful. Elio's father has trained him to be a dangerous and brutal man to take over the family organization one day.
Kate overhears Elio talking on the phone and misunderstands what Elio is saying. With her bestfriend Marco's help, she goes into hiding for seven years. Elio discovers that Marco is marrying into the Baldini family and knows Kate will be there. Elio intends on getting Kate back, but doesn't know about his son. This book is full of action, suspense and twists and turns.

Secret Baby for the Mafia Don is another amazing Mafia Romance book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I could NOT set my kindle down before finishing this book. The chapters flowed with such ease, that you could follow the story and not get lost in what was happening from chapter to chapter. Kate is promised to Elio La Rosa since the day she was born, Elio is the oldest son of one of the most powerful families in the US. While Kate is the eldest daughter of one of the most influential families in Mexico. The marriage between Kate and Elio was planned for them while they were both infants to help shore up their family bonds and trade alliances that would make their parents rich. In the beginning Elio is thrilled about marrying her, he liked enjoying women and told his parents that he wasn't going to agree to marry a "stupid girl" like Kate. However, once Kate grew out of the awkward teenage years and blossomed into a beautiful woman, Elio changed his mind about their pending marriage. I'm so happy that Elio and Kate ending up having a happy ending and our happy married with a lovely daughter. I'm definitely going to check out more books by this author. I would also HIGHLY recommend this books to other readers.

This is a complicated love story. Elio La Rosa has been groomed brutally to become the leader of his New York La Rosa crime family. He no longer understands tenderness or softness. Even his future love life has been laid out for him. He is to marry Kate, his childhood friend. Kate is the oldest daughter of a powerful Mexican family. Now that Kate has matured Elio certainly thinks she is hot. He can’t keep his hands off Kate, but Elio doesn’t know how to express his feelings. Kate though is in love with Elio and is a romantic. She wants loving words but what she hears makes her run. For years Elio has searched for his woman and finally, she is within reach ...but… she’s staying at an enemy’s home. Hot-headed Elio breaks in during a fancy family wedding and causes a scene. The mob family takes him prisoner along with Kate. Elio will make a great bargaining chip for getting better trade routes. It’s a mess. BUT… it all works out wonderfully in the end. Probably, is one of the best endings I’ve read. I received a free advanced copy of this story from Booksprout and these are my thoughts. i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the Billionaire Sinners series. In this book, we pick up at the wedding of Marco and Grazia. Marco had helped Kate hide years ago when she realized she was pregnant by Elio, the man she was promised to in marriage. Kate overheard a conversation where Elio said he had no use for her after the wedding and she had a child. Kate decided to go in hiding to protect her baby. For years Elio searched for her, but Marco had hidden her and no one knew where she was. At the wedding, Kate brought her son and Elio showed up to claim her, only he was kidnapped along with Kate by rivals Luca and Enzo. They hoped to force Elio to turn over profitable trade routes. Meanwhile, Elio was determined to win Kate back. I really enjoyed this book. I liked Elio, he wasn't as bad as i first thought he was. I think Kate still loved him and he loved her, he just couldn't admit it. This was a good end to this series.

I have read this series and I think this book is the best one! I really enjoyed it! Kate was betrothed to Elio from childhood. Kate has always loved Elio. Elio was raised to be the new head of the family by his father who trained him to be ruthless. He has done unspeakable things that he cannot forgive himself for. A misunderstanding of a conversation Kate overhears Elio having sets off a string of actions to hide from Elio by a pregnant Kate. This leads to years later Kate and her child being kidnapped by the Baldinis to get at Elio’s business. There is so much action, drama, plot twists and in all this madness a possible way to love and a HEA. I found Kate to be my favorite female lead character in the series so strong and a fighter. Elio once opening his heart became a great lead also. Loved their story.

Kate, escaped to her good friend and when her fiancee Elio La Rosa, came looking for her she lied to him and he left angry. Seven years her friend has kept her in hiding, now Kate is watching her friend getting married. Elio turns up and starts fighting until she spoke then things go down hill after that. There was action, suspense, danger, violence, enemies, kidnapping, betrayal, lies, secrets, twist, passion, pleasure, and maybe even love. This was a fantastic book, I highly recommend reading this book you won't be able to put down the book.

For me this book was hard to get into as it is not normally what I read. This book made me feel like I was a fly on the wall watching everything unfold. Kate has such patience with Elio and his lack of wanting to show her any emotions. Then for Kate to remain hidden for seven years with a child that Elio didn’t know about was a feat in and of itself. I honestly couldn’t do what she did and not get stir crazy sooner. When Elio pops back into her life everything changed, Kate got scared and felt more trapped than before. By the end of this book I truly appreciated Grazia and her putting her brothers in their place and helping Kate and Elio. Not to mention peace between mafia families is uncommon but felt so surreal reading about it and how it was held together was amazing.

There was action, suspense, danger, violence, enemies, kidnapping, betrayal, lies, secrets, twist, passion, pleasure, and maybe even love. I liked the character development and how I could picture myself as the character. Watching the two of them reconnect and piece together a new relationship after everything that happened was very intense. Loved the addition to the series!

She'll never love again. She goes to a friend Marco for help. Shes already carrying a secret. She has a plan and he doesnt want to do it and then theres a loud banging on his door. Its Elio. Hes says he will make them pay for betraying him. Shes been hidden for seven years. Marco is getting married today and Elio will have Kate at last. She has gotten herself between a mafia war and Elio has been captured. Oh what a violent web has been woven. Loved this story. Great read.

Absolutely fantastic. It has been a while since I read a book that had me this enthusiastic. I absolutely felt engaged in Elio and Kate's relationship. Kate and Elio's relationship almost was destroyed because they were not honest with each other, Elio because he was trying to protect Kate, and Kate because she made assumptions. Elio and Kate really needed to learn how to communicate earlier and it would have skipped all the heartache and turmoil that they went through. I absolutely loved the story. I do not know how Demi Ryder escaped my attention, but I am glad I discovered her because this book was awesome.

I love mafia stories and this story immediately kept me glued to my book. We are taken into the lives of Elio and Kate, they have been promised to each other since they were children. When one day she overhears a conversation, it is the reason she went into hiding for a few years. Years later they meet again at her best friend's wedding. From that moment on things get exciting because she and her son are kidnapped by his rival. A great story full of drama, action, danger. unexpected twists and lots of steam.

FANTASTIC BOOK!!!! The book cover caught my attention I was hooked. I was on the edge of my seat as I couldn’t even put it down literally. Mind blowing of action packed of drama between Kate and Elio was spicy HOT 🥵. It was captivating with betrayal and many secrets with a heartwarming of redemption in the mix. So much of tragic and unexpected truth of consequences and unexpected moments that will change their lives forever. I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed. Elio and Kate were betrothed since they were teens and soon, they will be getting married. That is until she overhears something that shatters her heart. She runs to a friend for help and when Elio catches up, they both lie to him in order to get him to leave. Seven years she has been in hiding but now her friend is getting married, and she wants to be there. Elio learns she is there and shows up unannounced which causes a fight between him and the Baldini family. She and their son are kidnapped after Elios is knocked out. Will he be able to save them from his enemy? Will she give him another chance?
This is a great story I just didn't expect some of the things that happened during this story to happen. Any other mafia story things would've been different if someone kidnapped the loved ones of a rival family. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book any book lover would enjoy.

This is Book 3 in the Billionaire Sinners Series by this author, and can be read as a standalone. It is a dark mafia romance between Kate and Elio. These flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. It is a second chance love story with drama and steam, danger and suspense, sexual tension and chemistry, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. An engaging page turner.

Elio and Kate are a toxic couple. When Kate overhears Elio say something over the phone she thinks it’s about her. So she runs away to her friend Marco.
She tells Marco that she’s pragnant and she has to tell Elio that the baby is Marcos. She goes into hiding with the help of Marco.
She comes out of hiding to attend Marcos wedding only to have herself and her son kidnapped by the brides brothers.

Loved it, loved it, loved it! Demi Ryder's writing is so brilliant, and had me engrossed and on edge the whole time. I couldn't put it down, I just had to keep reading to see how it all played out.

Demi spins another great romance filled with Mafia mayhem. Elio and Kate made the pages of the book sizzle even though were enemies with an arranged marriage. However, when Elio comes for Kate, he now has a surprise waiting for him as well. This was a great read and I definitely recommend. I wish I could make this book series into a mini-TV series because it would definitely make for a great movie.

If I could give it a zero I would. I liked nothing about this book. Skimmed through the sex scenes they were borderline disturbing from the little I read. Violent and read as low budget porn. Also they covered quite a bit of the pages🙄. Some of the characters from the old books in this series suffered because I could not stand them by the end of this book. They were trash and h got on my last nerves! Good luck

Wonderful! epic!
This book is full of love ,misunderstandings, suspense and happiness. The plot radiates family love. I couldn't put it down until the end. Ths e characters resonated with me because I know people and families like these. This is a book for anyone over seventeen because of the graphic sex scenes and violence. I recommend this book to eveyone !! Most especially to romance lovers.

OMG!! A freaking awesome story. Crazy plot twists that took my emotions on a roller coaster ride. was on the edge of my seat while reading. Suspenseful detailed intense storyline. Multi layered relatable characters. Highly recommend.

A very good Mafia story full of misunderstandings, threats and angry family members. All the ingredients needed for a page-turner. Elio and Kate were betrothed nearly from birth, things don't go as planned when they are old enough to marry. How they get their HEA is well-written and highly recommended reading.

This book was so amazingly written. Demi is one of my favorite authors. I feel in love with the characters from the start. And yeah, maybe at first, I thought Kate deserved so much better than Elio, but in the end I'm glad they fell in love and were both so happy. Also, ladies, just remember...real men show those emotions when it is most important ;).
