80% of this devotional book is Scripture which is awesome. The commentary is brief and the reflection questions are short and poignant. It is geared toward those exploring faith so if you’re a Christian already, this is better as a resource to recommend to a friend who is exploring faith. If you do buy this for a friend, I highly recommend buying them a journal too to start the habit of meditating on Scripture. Better yet, read it together with them and talk about the questions together.
